OMG! If there were more than 5 stars, this place deserves it. EVERYTHING was done with such grace, patience, and was so educational. Elvira was our cooking instructor and she was 5+++ . I very highly recommend everyone to include this cooking class here in your tour.

      Not your average cooking class
Jose was amazing. We had 2 teens with us and they even enjoyed it. The introduction to Peruvian ingredients was much appreciated. We enjoyed making and then eating 2 classic dishes. Jose gave great instructions. We enjoyed pisco tasting and even appreciated the fact we were supporting the Peruvian natural environment for the birds. I would highly recommend.

Great Time with a Great Cook
Our head chef Jorge was amazing. He taught us not just how to make ceviche, lomo saltado, and pisco sours, but also taught us some of the history of Peruvian and Incan food. He was extremely fun and likable throughout the entire experience. As he said, it was not a cooking class, but a cooking experience. We all had a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a laid back Peruvian cooking experience.

      What a lot of fun
The whole experience was wonderful and Jose was a knowledgeable and passionate teacher. 4 hours was very well spent. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to better understand the history of the food of Peru and more importantly, want to have fun for an afternoon.

If you are in Cusco, DO THIS!
This was one of the best things my husband and I did with our time in Cusco! This class far exceeded expectations! Jose provided amazing context and history for the traditional foods of Peru, and the recipes we tried were incredible. We learned so much about Peru through the foods we sampled and made, and we are coming away from the class with several wonderful recipes.

      Amazing experience!
I really enjoyed cooking ceviche and Lomo saltado. The chef was very fun and we all had a great time. The pisco tasting that was part of the experience was very educational and fun too!

      A Full Peruvian Experience
The food and drinks were amazing but I highly recommend it because we learned so much about Peruvian cuisine, culture and history. Jose Luis was outstanding in his knowledge, it was an immersion through cooking!

      Amazing experience
Our travel specialists booked this for us, to celebrate my 50th birthday, and what an amazing experience it was! We felt very welcome, Jose was very nice, knowledgeable, funny and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. We cooked some amazing dishes with high quality ingredients, and it was an experience we would not want to miss! And our Pisco sour was delicious. We can highly recommend it , you would not want to miss it .

Wonderful cooking class (and then some!) in Cusco
We dd a private class with Bruce and he was fantastic! I usually do not write reviews but I wanted to make sure he got credit for providing a wonderful experience. We learned about ingredients used in Peruvian cooking, tasted a lot of different fruits/vegetables and a couple of small bites, in addition to making ceviche (which was actually better than the other ceviches we had at restaurants), pisco sour and chilcano drinks, and lomo saltado (which was made with tenderloin, a high quality cut). It was really a top experience for us. Bruce's English is great and he is also a tour guide -- had we known we would have booked him for Machu Picchu as well.

      Wonderful afternoon with Alejandro!
My wife and I are so happy that we booked this culinary experience. It was a fantastic afternoon hosted by Alejandro in which we learned so much about not only the culinary delights found in Peru but also the rich history and geography of the country that result in such delights. The three hours flew by with the ceviche, Pisco Sour, and Lomo Saltado (all of which we learned to make ourselves) the highlights. But the best part of the experience was the highly knowledgeable and welcoming Alejandro who taught us so much.

      A cooking class in Cusco
This class will give you a basic understanding of how to cook some of Peru's iconic dishes such as ceviche. It was fun, entertaining, and hands-on. I learned a lot about some of Peru's indigenous foods and cooking styles. The recipes were emailed to those of us requesting them. I highly recommend it.

A must do in cusco if you like the Peruvian kitchen
Great experience with someone who is passionate about food and products. Really interesting explanation about the peruvian kitchen, then cooking yourself and learning how to make a Pisco sour, or light version of Pisco cocktail. Last minute décision but really enjoyed ourselves

This was a great experience! We happened to have had a private tasting which was nice. Our teacher was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about pisco! It was so interesting to learn. We got to try three kinds of pisco and then make two cocktails!

We had a blast with Alejandro at our Pisco Tasting! He was so knowledgable on the history of Pisco and Peru itself. We enjoyed our tasting and learning to make two different types of Pisco drinks. Alejandro was a blast and such a nice man. Would definitely recommend for couples or groups. Thank you Alejandro!
