Discover the beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an incredible Andean Paradise, where you will be able to explore the wonderful Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisaq, spectacular constructions built during the peak of the Incan Civilization. Explore at your own pace the local market in Pisaq, a picturesque Andean shopping center where native people are selling a wide variety of handicrafts. The Sacred Valley was undoubtedly a key area of settlement for the Incas; its combination of agreeable climate and fertile plains bestow an unusual abundance of food crops for the high Andes. This area is fed by numerous rivers which descend through adjoining valleys, and contains numerous archaeological remains. You don´t want to miss it!

Fascinating Exploration of the Sacred Valley
Our day in the Sacred Valley was a perfect blend of culture, history, and scenic beauty. The organization and communication with the provider after booking were seamless, and our pickup by coach was punctual. Despite a short wait to pick up a few more guests, our tour commenced without delays. The first stop was a viewpoint offering breathtaking views over the valley—an ideal spot for photos. In Pisac, we visited the archaeological site and then strolled through the town, where we had the opportunity to purchase unique souvenirs at the local market. Lunch in Urubamba was another highlight. The charming restaurant served us classic Peruvian dishes. The buffet was plentiful and delicious, and although drinks were an extra charge, the value for money was very good. After lunch, our journey took us to the impressive Inca fortress at Ollantaytambo and later to Chinchero, where we witnessed a fascinating demonstration of alpaca textile production. The opportunity to buy handwoven textiles directly from the producers was an authentic experience. Our guide, Julio, was exceptional; he ensured we were always comfortable and shared his extensive knowledge with enthusiasm. The tour lasted about 11 hours, but despite its length, it was not exhausting, thanks to well-timed breaks and interesting stops. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. It not only provides insights into the rich history and culture of the Sacred Valley but also into the modern life of this remarkable region of Peru.

          Spectacular
Spectacular experience from beginning to end. Service was impeccable, food was amazing, top notch views, live music, and delicious local cocktails such as Pisco sour & "a Peruvian cosmo". If you're thinking of a way to get from cusco to machu picchu, this is your sign to book the Hiram Bingham.

          Worth the money
Well worth the money. The folks working the train take such great care of you and really go above and beyond to make your trip memorable. Food was outstanding and the service was perfect. Everything was perfectly timed and planned. Bus is waiting for you when you arrive and then you are right into Machu Picchu with a guided tour. Afternoon tea at the Belmont was also fantastic. My wife and I were very glad we chose this option to get to and from Machu Picchu.

          Ausangate 4 days
Amazing experienxe on Ausangate 4 days trek. This was simply the best trekking experience I could have hoped. After having done a couple multiday treks in Peru, I would say this one was the best. Everything perfectly organized. The food was awesome and in big quantity, the cook was super nice and so were the two horseman. And our guide Leo was just perfect: really competent and also super nice and funny. A girl in the group had problems with the altitude, and I feel like he did everything perfectly to deal with the situation. I would highly recommend going on a trek with Apu Andinas.

          Great staff and amazing experience!
Marycruz and Jhon Alexandro were on point since the beginning and made the trip to Puno and Lake Titicaca seamless and memorable. I recommend this agency to anyone that wants to have an excellent service. Everything was on point starting from pick up and drop off times to continuous entertaining jokes from our guide Jhon. The food was delish everywhere we went and the cherry on top was Marycruz's playlist. I could not have asked more for a memorable short trip.

Pamper yourself on a long day
Day is long. They picked us up at 6:40 and we got home at 22:00. But we ate, drank, sang, danced, laughed and saw Machu Picchu and came back full and happy. The level of service is what you would expect with the price. EVERYONE and I sincerely mean EVERYONE who worked on this trip was cheerful, polite, competent. Madai and Cesar in the train restaurant as well as the bartender whose name I didn’t get were top notch. Our guide Carlos took us in a small group of 8 to Machu Picchu and he gave us great information and didn’t rush. He was with us all day and knew my name. The day starts with a pick up at your hotel then a drop off at a bus where you ride to a train station. At the train station there is a snack, music playing, local dancing. NEVER was anyone looking for a tip - again a class operation. Henry the manager was also with us all day and attended to everyones needs. At this train station you board the special upscale Hiram Binham train with a lovely dining car (cloth tablecloths) very nice bar (all drinks are included) and a room past the bar where you can get in the open air for photos. The organization was good. The musicians who played in the bar are were excellent - great mix of rock and spanish music and knew every song anyone requested. By the return trip the group was dancing and singing and refused to go to dinner without another song. The two meals were abundant and well prepared. Here again - excellent service and you could request a different meal if you wanted to. The train gets as far as Aguas Calientes then you have a bus (short ride) to the entrance to Machu Picchu. If you want to spend many hours in Machu Picchu this is not your trip. We only spent 2.5 - 3 hours at the site. It was enough for us. We also had some rain but that is beyond control. You feel very pampered and VIP on this trip. I liked t!

Extra attention to detail makes the experience memorable.
Staff was courteous and helpful from the moment we checked in until we stepped out in Macchu Picchu station. Little things like tea and snacks in the comfortable waiting areas made it a wonderful experience we will recommend to others.

          Avoid, Seriously
Not a train service I would recommend There were many issues with the whole experience. The carriages were old and the interior was also very old. While I have no problems with the vintage look - in fact I do love the charm of a classic carriage - the carpet in the dining carriage itself had a strange smell to it. This was much much worse in the bar carriage - especially at the bar counter. If I could describe it - it was like a wet dog had been living in the bar area. The dinner was unfortunately average at best. I’ve had much better food in the air. The wines served on board were honestly terrible and there was no option to purchase premium wines like on the Andean Explorer and Sacred Valley trains. The worst part was the overall service. The staff appeared tired and not did not seem very willing to serve. There was none of the attentiveness and preemptive service that you expect from Belmond. Now I do understand the restrictions of the kitchen on the carriage. But having taken the Andean Explorer and the Sacred Valley trains just 1 - 2 weeks prior, I can say the Hiram Bingham is absolutely not worth the experience even if you had a major discount. The crew on the Andean Explorer and the Sacred Valley train were spectacular. The only real benefit was the private transfer to and from the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. So if you’re staying there, it is a bit more convenient. However this private transfer is not particularly comfortable though, as the bus is the same or even older than some of the standard buses that ply the same route. If you’ve tried the Hiram Bingham previously or have heard rave reviews from the past - I would seriously think twice about booking this train service. My group were left sorely disappointed.
