- Angel B0 contributionsHumantay LakeThe Humantay Lake Full Day tour was incredible! The views were absolutely stunning and made the journey so worthwhile. Paulo was an amazing guide—very patient with our group, especially since I had a hard time and struggled to breathe at times. Thankfully, they have horses available to rent for the hike up, which was a great help. The view at the top is definitely worth it!Written 13 January 2025

- 719evier0 contributionsHeber Forever TourHumantay was incredible! I have never seen something so beautiful, the mountain views were epic. I was with Heber, a wonderful guide who made us all feel comfortable and taken care of. It was definitely a difficult hike but so worth it. Big smiles all day long!Written 11 January 2025
- Passport7793880 contributionsGreat experience with Marcial! We had a great trip to Vinicunca with our guide, Marcial! He was well prepared in case of any issues with altitude and kindly helped out a few other travelers we passed who were not feeling well. We really enjoyed our conversation and he took great pictures of us on the mountain! Our driver was also safe and efficient, and the van was in good condition. I would highly recommend doing a private tour as it allowed us to travel at our own speed.Written 10 January 2025
- wyonaw20250 contributions10/10 👍🏼I did the Humantay-Tour with my friend and the "Sexy Lama Group", guided by "Heber forever". - scottbB8965UA0 contributionsGreat experienceWe had a great experience visiting Humantay Lake. Our guide, Herber was very considerate taking care of everyone’s individual needs. The breakfast and lunch stops provided adequate, suitable and nice food. The bus driver was very professional. The hike was challenging and a reasonable level of fitness is required. We had a cold and rainy day but came prepared.Written 9 January 2025
- 193sienag0 contributionsAmazing value for moneySuper Wally was a great guide! Very positive and knowledgeable. The breakfast and lunch that were provided make it amazing value for money. Take it at your own pace as altitude affects everyone differently, but hiking to the peak is well worth the view! We also super lucked out and were able to see half the mountain in the snow! Amazing for this time of the year. Thank you to Wally and also the driver!Written 9 January 2025
- Nikki H0 contributionsGreat experienceThe guide Wally was excellent, he was very patient and took care to explain things in English. We got to see Rainbow Mountain on a good day. The food was good although the meals felt a bit rushed.Written 8 January 2025
- Ziad H0 contributionsGreat Adventure Januar 2025I decided to take this adventure after being disappointed with Machu Picchu. They picked me up from the hotel early in the morning, around 5 a.m. After driving for about 100 minutes, we reached our first stop, where a simple but acceptable light breakfast was served (fruit and cereal). After approximately 35 minutes, we continued our trip to Rainbow Mountain. The journey involved mountain roads, so be prepared for some discomfort. It took around 95 minutes to reach our final destination. For families and older individuals, I strongly suggest using the horses available—they can save you about 70% of the effort to get to the top. Even if you're fit, I recommend taking it slow on the ascent. You'll likely feel exhausted during the final stretch, so save your energy and oxygen for the last part of the hike. Our tour guide, Waldir C.C., or as he likes to be called, "Super Walli," was kind and helpful, explaining everything in his own way. I highly recommend taking this tour with him. Another tip: When you reach the top, instead of just taking a photo with the altitude sign, take one with the llama owned by the old man at the highest level. He also has a similar sign, and the photo won't cost you much. Pros: Great price-to-value ratio Unique and memorable experience Tour guide was honest, professional, and ensured we returned safely to the hotel No rush during the tour Cons: The car's air conditioning didn’t work well Lunch was not deliciousWritten 7 January 2025
