- andyjX6022MT0 contributionsThe colours and views are spectacular.Worth the early start, great experience. Good transport and driver plus guide. Good breakfast just before the last part of the drive and lunch on the way back. I really recommend this trip if you have free time in CUZCO and are fit enough to tackle the walk. Good walking shoes are essential.Written 14 February 2025
- kevinbS5432MT0 contributionsUnforgettable, AmazingWalle is an amazing guide. We were told to meet at the pickup point at 4:30 and were picked up 4:35 so the timing was good. Bus was very comfortable and even gave us blankets. Breakfast was incredible, lunch was okay. The entire tour was an unforgettable experience but I wouldn’t recommend doing it until your body adjusts to the altitude if you are a beginner. We did take the horses up to the lake which helped a lot. I wouldn’t recommend doing recommend this tour to EVERYONE visiting Cusco especially with walle!Written 14 February 2025
- jordan g0 contributionsHighly recommend! This tour was fantastic! It was very organised and super affordable for what is included. The hike was challenging, but worth it once you reach the top. Our guide, Heber Forever, was outstanding in every aspect; he was very positive the whole time, took amazing photos and was very knowledgeable of the lake’s formation and significance to the Inca people. The food was also a great addition; a buffet breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend.Written 14 February 2025
- _O6940LJ0 contributionsGood memoriesI went to Rainbow mountain with my friend. At first, I worried about altitude sickness and whether I can complete climbing. However, my guides, Alex, kindly took care of us, and gave us some tips to climb mountain in situation of very high altitude. Finally, we made it! So I highly recommend this tour.Written 14 February 2025
- 694gwenyths0 contributionsIncredible trip!Awesome trip to the rainbow mountains. The whole trip was extremely gorgeous, the ride there was beautiful, the hike offered a combination of snowy mountains and lush greenery. The hike was foggy in the beginning and cleared up by the time we got to the top. Even a little snow! (We went in February) The view from the top was amazing! Our guide, Alex, was super nice and helpful. Everything was in both Spanish and English. Everyone on the tour was so friendly and we got to meet a lot of cool people. The place the tour stops at for lunch and breakfast was wonderful as well. Would absolutely recommend this trip!Written 13 February 2025
- Abigail K0 contributionsExcellent tour!Very well-organized and affordable tour that provided everything we could possibly need. Alex was a wonderful guide and gave us lots of great information, and we appreciated that he alternated English and Spanish for us! He spoke both wonderfully. Highly recommend!Written 13 February 2025
- Jopete10 contributionsA Challenging but Incredible Experience! My daughter and I booked this Rainbow Mountain tour just yesterday, and everything went exactly as planned. From start to finish, the communication was excellent, both before and during the tour. Our guide, Alex, was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and always ready to assist. We had mixed expectations based on some of the reviews we read beforehand, but I can confidently say that Rainbow Mountain did not disappoint! The hike is no joke at this altitude, and while it was definitely a challenge, the views at the top were absolutely breathtaking and made every step worth it. I think we got really lucky with the weather (its rainy season). Since I’ve been battling a head cold, we decided to rent horses for most of the ascent—a great option if you’re concerned about the altitude. However, you do still have to hike the last 1,000 feet of elevation, and at 16,500 feet, the oxygen is scarce! Alex was incredibly helpful during this final stretch and even guided us in staging some amazing photos to capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience with my daughter. Our tour included pickup at our Airbnb, round-trip transportation, breakfast, lunch, and horse rental for the way up (we opted to hike down). The overall cost was very reasonable, and the experience was well-organized from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering Rainbow Mountain, and if you can, ask for Alex! His guidance made the experience even more memorable. ✅ Tips for Future Travelers: • Altitude is real! Take your time, hydrate, and consider coca tea or altitude medication. • Dress in layers. Mornings are freezing, but you’ll warm up while hiking. • Horse rental is worth it if you’re not feeling 100% or have concerns with mobility. • The last section is tough, but don’t give up—the views are worth it! This was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!Written 13 February 2025
- jptbastos0 contributionsHighly recommended Humantay Lagoon tour with Chullos TravelEverything was great! Well organized, on time, good transportation, good food on the way. And the Lagoon is awesome. And especially great guidance by “Heber Forever”! Fun, knowlegeable and great photographer! Highly recommended.Written 13 February 2025

- Maryna L0 contributionsFantastic! My second trip with this agency and I can say they are the best.An unforgettable experience! The views from 5000 meters were simply stunning, even Seven Colors Mountain was covered in snow it was magical. Edwin, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. A small tip: don’t forget to bring sunglasses – I didn’t, and ended up with severe eye pain the next day.Written 13 February 2025
- Katia2173180 contributionsSacred City tour with ChristianOur friend booked this tour the day we arrived in Cusco. It was fantastic value and we saw much more than the much more expensive tour we were offered by our holiday company. Christian our guide was excellent. We were picked up in the Plaza de Armas and there were six people in total on our tour. We visited an interesting weaving centre, four of the major archaeological Inca and pre Inca sites plus a salt mine. We had lunch included. It was a long day (12 hours), fairly short distances on a comfortable mini bus between the sites. Would give this tour 5 star plus thanks to Christian.Written 12 February 2025
- O3671HHkevinb0 contributionsGreat full day out with Christian as our guide.Long but very full day out in the sacred valley. We visited four archeological sites, the salt mines and learnt about spinning / weaving alpaca wool. Christian is a great guide, allowing us plenty of time at each stop and providing loads of local knowledge. Recommended, but expect to be tired at the end.Written 12 February 2025
- marianamB5030QE0 contributionsEver for Ever - The Gratest Expirence! My adventure to the Rainbow Mountain in Vinicunca was incredible. Our guide, Ever, was excellent; his energy and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. I loved that the van was very clean and that the information about our arrival and departure times was always clear. We were provided with blankets for the journey from Cusco to Vinicunca, which was a very thoughtful touch. Both breakfast and lunch were very good, with a clean and well-organized environment. The mountain was spectacular, and we were lucky to have excellent weather. An unforgettable experience!Written 12 February 2025
