          Exceptional tour and Guide!
We felt so fortunate to have "Rebar" as our guide. What a fabulous history lesson on the region, the Inka's and the modern city of Cusco. A tourist dream to accomplish and learn so much in a day!

Tour with them!! You won’t regret it.
Had a great experience with this tour! Nixon, my initial guide that helped set everything up, was so extremely helpful and incredibly organized. One of the most organized guides and companies I’ve ever dealt with in all my travels! I appreciated the initial meeting/orientation before the tour, it made me feel very secure and comfortable (especially for being a female solo traveler). I felt very safe throughout my entire all day tour at Sacred Valley. My guides during my Sacred valley journey were also incredibly helpful and super nice and friendly. Everything went according to plan and was so smooth. Beautiful views, nice workshops, and great food at the buffet as well! Would absolutely recommend everyone to take their Sacred valley tour with them!

Visiting Machu Picchu with young children
My husband and I are avid travelers. However, we speak little Spanish and traveling with small children (4 months and 4 years old), we felt the need for a bit of extra guidance going to Machu Picchu. There a quite a few steps involved in getting to Machu Picchu and Mega Expeditions really helped in ensuring everything was aligned. Doing with small children was definitely unique and energy consuming, but with Mega Expedition’s assistance, everything went smoothly. The tour guide, Raul, provided lots of valuable information that made Machu Picchu really come alive and he was accommodating regarding the needs of our children.

          Choquequirao an EPIC Adventure!
Wow! This is the most amazing adventure! Four days of remote area and beautiful panoramas. The staff are awesome! They make sure that everyone is well taken care of and having a great adventure. The food is true Peruvian cuisine and is delicious! The other hikers were a great group. We became more like family with this great adventure! The city of Choquequirao is a fabulous hidden gem! Entering the gate to the city prepares you for the things to come. The spacious terraces, massive stones, and endless stairways radiate an energy of a powerful civilization. The sector of the llamas is unique and so wonderful! The trail to access this amazing city is equally impressive! It is a trial of strength, spirit, and pure determination. I was told it is rated the most difficult hike in Peru! If you enjoy hiking and are up to the challenge you definitely must do this adventure!

Incredible and challenging trip - the hidden Incan gem
The Choqequirao trek was an unforgettable experience. Over 4 days and probably 70 kilometers through rugged trails in the Andes l, the hike was both physically and mentally demanding. The views were stunning and the isolation of the ancient ruins made it feel like you are privileged to be one of the people that gets to see it. Unlike Machu Pichu there was hardly any crowds so you have the opportunity to take pictures and appreciate the beauty and history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English and Spanish and added a lot of context to what is known about Choquequirao. Be prepared for steep climbs and long days, it is not easy to get there, but if you’re up for the challenge it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for adventure seekers.

          Great sacred valley tour
It’s a fast-paced tour and that’s exactly what I like. Enough time to see the places without standing around bored. Very good value for money and a great way to see the sacred valley if you’re short on time.

We thought this tour was really good value for money! We opted to pay extra and take the train there and then get the minivan back and it was still the cheapest tour we found online.

All our questions were answered quickly and we felt very at ease and that everything was taken care of. Thank you to Nixon who was our point of contact!

From the moment I contracted Nixon and his team the communication was excellent. Nixon was very quick with his replies and went above and beyond to answer all my questions before hand( and I asked alot of them haha)

He showed me pictures and sent me voice notes, everything to give me a better impression of what I could expect.

He also sent me detailed information about the tour and what I could expect and even explained about add ons or other tours.

What I like was that he was very sincere like a trusted friend and showed me a few different options that I could choose from and he was very professional and knowledgeable.

I will definitely recommend anyone visiting Peru to contact Nixon and his team

Two stars are for the last-minute tickets to Machu Picchu. We opted for the train because of the rainy season and bought the train ticket ourselves( if you get the train tickets from them they will charge you $30 more each). Although the tour guide that was included on our tour was a nice guy he did not speak English, we Barely understood him and he gave us false information about Machu Picchu. We had to google ourselves. The hostel we stayed in had no hot water we had to shower in cold water in the rainy season.
If you buy your entrance ticket in advance, you don't need a travel agency. There are many itineraries online, you can plan the trip yourself.

Our Cusco to Machu Picchu tour turned out perfectly. We booked last minute (5 days in advance), this tour being one of the few that even said it had our available dates when attempting to book online. Nixon contacted us right away to start explaining our options and the process, which I found to be quite confusing. Because of our last minute booking, we had to get our entrance tickets in person in Aguas Calientes, rather than having them included with the price of the tour (which is possible when you book early). As a born worry wart, I was immediately anxious we wouldn’t be able to get tickets to enter the site at all. Nixon was fantastic! He spent hours messaging me and even had zoom meetings with maps, and slides to answer questions, explain steps, and clarify situations over and over and over. He was endlessly patient. We decided to take the train both up and back, which is stunning. And everything went off without a hitch! Everyone involved with this tour; the driver, Inca Rail folks, the people at the hostel, our guide for the site and of course Nixon, were great! They really worked to guide us through the entire process.
We had a gorgeous day at Machu Picchu and an unforgettable experience together.

Mainly booked this role because it was the cheapest option I could find, and I was going so last minute (booked it less than a week in advance). Honestly at first I was a bit sceptical about how good the experience would be but I have nothing bad to say!! The hike from the mini van- aguas calientes was rewarding, and although the mini van journey was long I actually enjoyed driving through the Andes, the views were great, and spending an extra day in aguas calientes was quite nice aswell. Everyone that helped me had amazing customer service and were so attentive and answered every question I had :))))) deffos recommend

The guys from Mega expeditions gave me all the support I needed to enjoy the wonder which is Macchu Picchu, they took care of everything and if you seeking to save money this it the right way to do it, even if you go after the tickets/transport/accomodations by your own in the end you will spend pretty much the same and will have the extra work to organize it all by yourself. With mega expeditions you are in good hands and will always have someone to answer your doubts and help you with any inconveniences.
Nixon was the one taking care of everything for me to enjoy this amazing experience! Thank you a lot Nixon!

And what a great experience! The 10km walk following the train rail is actually not really tiring, you can go in your own rhythm and enjoy the amazing landscapes in the way (but still 10km walk so be prepared with water, repellents and a few snacks). When you arrive at Águas Calientes you will find such a cozy city with a lot of options of restaurants and nice things to do. I do recommend to stay more days at Águas Calientes if you can. The stairs up to Macchu Picchu are actually pretty tiring, you can take de bus up for 12 dollars and it's actually worth it but if u still want to take the stairs be ready with a lot of water and comfortable clothes, coca leafs or something similar and good physical condition.

The mega Expeditions are a professional team, who will do anything to fulfill you needs and dreams. From helping with SIM cards, to doing last minutes trips for their customer. I ended up buying the Rainbow Mountain tour, the two days Machupicchu tour and the Sacred Valley tour. Nixon and Carlos are very helpful, and explain everything in a way making it impossible to misunderstand. The prices are cheap, but that doesn’t make it low value, the food you get on tour’s are great and filling. The guides that they hire are very professional and helpful. I was the only English speaking person on one trip, but the guide took so good care of me, and didn’t differentiate me from the others. As a female solo traveler I felt really safe in their hands too. I will recommend these guys to anyone who wants a great time in Cusco.

To see Machupicchu was my dream and Mega Expeditions made my dream come true. In the beginning I was a little bit skeptical, but after meeting with Carlos, walking in the beautiful, historical streets of Cusco and having dinner at the market, I became more calm and relaxed. Carlos explained every step in detail for the Machupicchu trip. At 3:30am, we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the bus travel company. The bus was very comfortable and it took 2 hours to get to Ollantaytambo. From there, we moved onto the train and we were able to see the most magnificent views on our way to Aguas Calientes. The hotel was nice and the whole city is authentic and very native. We enjoyed the food and went to the local hot springs too. It was more complicated to get the Machupicchu tickets: we needed to wake up at 3-4am and wait in long lines, but to see Machupicchu, it was worth it. Our guide, Kosmos, was very intelligent and informative, there were breathtaking views and mysterious artifacts. I'm very lucky to be able to make it on this trip, and we're thankful to Carlos, who helped us and was periodically checking in on us for everything.

This was a fantastic way to visit Machu Picchu and Nixon helped us the entire way with any issues we may encounter. The actual hike from the hyrdoelectric to Aguas Calientes is around 12-13km each way and relatively flat with great scenery. The steps up to Machu Picchu take around 2 hours and is challenging even for a group of fit individuals - but really worth it! You can take the bus up and down instead for $12 each way. The train alone to Aguas Caliented costs over $150 so this is a much more affordable and challenging option. We would highly reccomend it to anyone else looking to do this great trip! You’ll get your steps in whilst taking in the wonders of Machu Picchu!

I am Argentina and it was my first time in Peru, and in Cusco, the company took care of all the details, the entrance of machu pichu, the buses, and there was no inconvenience, everything went perfect.
I did Machu Pichu's one-way hike by walking the hydroelectric to Aguas Calientes, and I really recommend it, it's a beginner's hike as the hike is flat and you're in contact with nature and the vastness of the mountains.
The guides were always present and contacting me at all times, both before, during and after the tour, and always open to resolve doubts, inconveniences, I must highlight the wonderful attention I had from my guide Nixon, who was always aware!
100% recommend the company, super safe and professional
