We had an amazing time! We came to make our daughter's wish to see a pink river dolphin come true. Adriano and his team fulfilled her wishes and more. They were such wonderful hosts and were so helpful and accommodating with our disabled son. The food was amazing and the company was even more so. It was a trip of a lifetime:
seeing the sunrise over the Amazon, watching the pink and grey river dolphins, fishing for piranha, feeding the monkeys, swimming in the river, visiting a local village, spending the night lulled to sleep by jungle noises and so much more. You'll gain an appreciation and love for this area because of this tour.

Had a great time with great guides. Did the the 2 day tour, spend the night in the jungle in a lodge with beds and a shower. Meals were provided and were delicious. Bring boots for the walking in the jungle although they will give you big rubber rain boots. It is a long ride out to the lodge though so be prepared for that but you’re still riding in a boat along the Amazon river. Overall great experience

Daniel is great to know you have had a great and fantastic experience. We keep same excitement since you book the tour with us. We do our best efforts to provide real and authentic experiences. You are right that we provide rubber boots if you don´t bring them. On behalf of Jungle Reps staff we thank you so much for choosing us and as we say if our guests are happy we are much happier

We had a splendid time in the Amazon forest. First day arrived by boat to the place, met the guides (Adriano and Jerson) and the team. Everyone was very nice and friendly. They prepared lunch for us, and showed us our rooms, and then we started exploring the forest. It rained while we were hiking, which added to the adventure. On the way the guides showed us many animals and explained things about animals, plans, and the forest in a professional way. At night they took us to see the alligators at the lake, which was really interesting. Next day we went fishing piranhas. The guides caught a lot, we caught a few... But it a wonderful experience! After that we swam in the river. Also we saw 2 types of monkeys that jumped to our boat and started playing and eating bananas...
Also I must thank the guide Adriano for taking care of my brother after having a little injury.
In summary, this 2 day trip is a great experience to explore the Amaxon forest if you're short in time, but be ready to get dirty!

After a 2h way by bus and then 2 hours by boat, we finally arrived at the lodge which was some comfy traditional houses where we have been well welcomed.
The guide brought us to a forest walk, showing us some medicinal trees used for centuries by the people living there in the jungle. It was sooo interesting !
Then in the evening, a night tour by bark searching for alligators to see, the day after watching early the sunset with the dolphins, the whole trip was just amazing and was worth it !
We had the chance to see so many animals living in the forest! We have the mind full of memories now. It was the perfect way to end our trip in Peru.

I deeply recommand this tour. In my opinion it is the best thing to do as tourist to support this kind of trip where animals are free and living in a protected area where they are not subject to trading or used as goods to pen in enclosures for their entire life.. Be aware that this kind of activity may definitly exist in the region, that absolutely should be avoided if you would like to support a sensed way of travelling and above all respect the wildlife living there...

I'm a budget traveler and I'm used to my fair share of sufficient but disappointing experiences when trying to travel inexpensively. Instead I was met with flexibility, an eagerness to meet my needs, and an experience that blew me away. The accommodation at their new lodge was fantastic (see picture), the food was plenty and tasty and catered to my vegetarian diet (vegetables in the jungle isn't so easy), the guide was knowledgeable and him and the entire crew were exceptionally friendly, and the range of experiences were amazing (the wildlife, fishing, catching alligators with bare hands, and learning about various plants, etc. I highly recommend this group as trustworthy, friendly, and exceptionally accommodating!

We made the 2 days trip from Iquitos and it was an amazing experience! The lodge we stayed at was in the middle of the jungle without water or electricity! We made a lot of trips to the Jungle and saw a lot of animals and plants! Top english speaking guide! I can recommend Luis warmly!

The trip was great because you are in the Jungle. Our tour guide was sick, so did not join us on day two (however did party till later then 2am the night before). We did not go swimming with dolphins (it sounded like the guide new this question was coming, and nervously said “oh yes we are definitely going swimming”, acting like he didn’t understand the dolphin part. We went swimming for 20min, but definitely not with dolphins!). We did not go piranha fishing. The cabins where cool, but they overbooked and had to figure out the sleeping plan with us on the spot. The food was amazing. Overall we paid 200 dollar per person to be on a boat a couple of times, see really big water Lilly’s, see a jungle village (mostly to give them money, although they kindly did not push this upon us), walk in the jungle once (our captain, who took over the job as guide, new a lot and luckily one of our travelers spook Spanish), and do one night trip (however there was a massive party at our lodge by locals, of which we where told by arrival at the lodge, so you knew from the start there where not going to be animals to see). The party it self was fun!Not a problem, but something to know; shower do not work before 12am (or maybe not at all). As you are in the jungle, you of course understand that showers are a luxury good, however saying you can have a shower but it not being available and then saying oh no that isn’t possible until 12am and then again hearing from others it isn’t available, is just false advertisement. Also, the communication was really poorly; they asked us 3 times the name of the hotel. We tried to get the pick up time from 2 days prior to departure onwards and where not able to get in contact in any way (no reply to our emails, phone not being picked up). We finally took the TripAdvisor schedule time, which said 8am, to find out we should have been ready at 7.30am. We did spot monkeys with our captain, and by luck had some natural biscuits in our back to get them close. However, with every trip we had to remind our guide of important stuff (like boots before doing the night walk). We did not get a briefing or anything on what to bring to the jungle. While on one of our trips the captain said “it’s not good to wear black, because it attracts insects”...this is information you need prior of departure! Not when you are already in the middle of the trip. To sum up; amazing food, cool cabins you sleep in, cool being in the jungle. But, poor communication, not as advertised. I’m not sure if other companies do really offer the things we didn’t do, or if this is just something all companies collectively do in this area to be able to sell the tours for more money.

Dear Romy Firstable thank you very much for your review. Reviews are so important in order to keep growing as persons and bussines as well.We are so sorry because we didn`t fullfilled your expectations as most of our guests.Regarding to your points. About the guide it is always a challenge to work and select right persons to work with but your review will help us definetely to adjust conditions with our staff focusing always to provide the best quality of guidance.Operations number by the way 2 days ago we added one more person to our staff in our site we show 04 telephone numbers available to provide a better comunication experience with our guests even my own number for calls 24/7.About showers we are training to our staff to fix plumbing problems to make experiences more enjoyable about these type of issues. To get a good internet conection in Iquitos is very difficult not only for us but for many other companies as well this is why we couldn`t reply mails as soon we normally do and fix information in our site like to add new numbers or address. Color of the cloths is very relative I have been biten by mosquitos wearing different colors so i think mosquitos just bite i always recommend a good mosquito repellent and in the FAQ section of my site you can see that I recommend quick drying clothes. Thank you so much for your review that is helping a lot to our bussines, we know that there is a lot of great places to see in this world but if you have the chance to come back you definetely will see changes already.

My husband booked this adventure in the jungle and all I could think of is OMG, sleeping in the jungle, best be said I was a little terrified about it. Once I arrived I could not believe the accommodations, the staff, the boat crew, the boat rides, swimming, all the wonderful amazing beautiful things we saw on the Amazon, this was so far the best part of our trip, and IT WAS THE BEST FOOD EVER on our whole trip. We caught some catfish, maybe more if the monkeys hadn't stolen our bait, but that was OK because they were the only monkeys I've ever seen that I liked! (Wooly Macaques). Watching the family, playing volley ball and games together after dinner and having family time was a very sentimental moment, so much fun and laughter. I am definitely returning! Thx Luis and crew from Matt & Alison Herrington, Canada

Dear Matahari142 Thank you for your review. At first moment jungle, amazon means a lot things very scary some of them and it is nice to know that despite being a remote place is a once time life experience. Jungle Reps team provides its best to provide a high quality service. Food is very well cooked and prepares using fresh meat and vegetables. Our staff has been trained to handle food which is a requirement in this bussines. Monkeys wao so nice. Being in the amazon with not seeing a monkey you were not in the amazon haha just a joke but our healthy jungle places are crowded by monkeys. About the family i agree with you. Amazon is animals plants rivers and its warm people too. best regards Jungle Reps

We travelled with my partner to Amazon rainforest for 2 days/1 night tour with Jungle Reps and had really great time. All our expectations were exceeded and we were amazed most of the time. The organisation was great even though we had some unexpected issues like broken car or broken boat motor. Everything was solved and we felt safe. If driver or someone didn't speak English, Luis gave us instructions and info on the phone. Spanish of my partner was huge advantage though, even if it wasn't on superadvanced level. You can talk to more people and get more interesting information. Our guide Pedro and also then the other guide Jerson who joined us for some trips were really great too, they have unbelievable knowledge of the jungle and are able to spot animals from quite a distance. Thanks to them we saw sloths, tucans, scorpion, frog, caymans, tarantula, parrot, fed monkeys, swam with pink dolphins and hugged baby sloth. The guides were really nice and friendly, I think also the Spanish helped a bit.We stayed at local family in traditional jungle house and ate local food cooked by them, which was also really nice. We had trips just for us two, no bigger groups. It didn't feel touristic at all, it had totally authentic local feel. The only thing that I would do differently is to do more activities or jungle trips/walks instead of some breaks after lunch, dinner or breakfast, but it's just that I was too excited and didn't want to sit there and wait to go to the jungle. Simply incredible experience, my dreams to see Amazon rainforest and hug a sloth came true and I would recommend it to everyone, it's totally worth it, safe and organized well.
