Amazon River and Monkey Island Tour
We had an amazing time with Kelwin and the trip down the Amazon to Monkey Island. Kelwin was very quick to respond @whatsapp, was on time to pick us up and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We stopped along the way to see the native aquatic species and Kelwin explained the whole center. He even pointed out many dolphins along the way that we would have missed. We highly recommend this experience.

Great way to see the market
Excellent way to see a fascinating market. Our guide was professional and knowledgeable. It would be very hard to appreciate and understand the market given the scale without a guide.

          Simple, well-organized tour
Kelwin organized a wonderful tour for my only free day in Iquitos. I knew that I wanted to do one of his tours, but wasn't sure which. I reached out via email and he was quick to respond and gave me his WhatsApp, which we used to communicate trip details and logistics. He arrived at my hotel when he said he would and brought walked me to the water where a boat waited to take me down the river. About an hour or so into the tour we stopped at Fundo Pedrito at little tourist attraction where we saw/fed some native bird and fish species. We then got back in the boat and headed to the REAL Monkey Island. I guess there is a fake one that other tour companies bring customers to. It was a long trip, but so peaceful and also meditative just cruising slowly down the river. La Isla de los Monos was an amazing spot. I toured the facility with Ben, a volunteer who had been working with the Island for over 8 years. He enthusiastically introduced me to all of the juvenile baby monkeys as the ran around on the ground and swung from the tree. One young Capuchin monkey stepped onto my head to practice her grooming. Ben continued to walk me out into the jungle where they released Monkeys as they start to reach maturity. We even got to pick some ripe star fruit and I ate a little bit on my way out with several little youngsters following waiting for me to share. The ride back to Iquitos was quiet. I appreciated the Kelwin was there, but also allowed space for me to have my own experience without feeling like he needed to fill ever moment with a lot of information. He just allowed me to be present to the moment. Just before getting back into the tributary that leads to Cusco City we were lucky to witness of pod of grey river dolphins playing around, which was such a wonderful surprise encounter. You could do these things alone (hire a boat, but a ticket to Monkey Island, etc.) but I really appreciate that I just got on the boat and didn't have to think again and could just enjoy the time. I'd definitely recommend.

          bucket list amazonas dolphins: check
We had an amazing day with Kelwin! Everything was organized really well - meeting point, tuktuk, timings, the boat - we were on a private tour with him and the boat driver. His english was really good and he told us such interesting things. Our highlight was on the amazon river when we saw dolphins, such an amazing moment. We had enough time to take pictures and videos and then went on. The monkey farm was nice too. We also visited another animal farm which was fine. At the end, we even saw the big tree and had an overview over the amazonas. It was a lovely day and would totally recommend.

Friendly and informative guide through a bustling market and town.
I booked this tour of Belen Market with Kelwin. He was very responsive in our communications prior to the tour which made setting it up very easy. Belen Market is quite a site. With so many things going on, a guide really helps you to maximize the experience. Kelwin always encouraged picture taking, which was nice, because since he lives in Belen, it made me feel much more comfortable taking pictures when I would not have if I were alone. He was also very knowledgeable about the different things in the market as well as the inner workings of the floating city. It would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to see the floating city without a guide.

          Great time!
Kelvin took me to all the places I wanted to see! Monkey island, animal rehabilitation center, holding a sloth! Even had his driver wait while I had dinner and then drop me off at the airport. He was friendly and polite! We even got to see dolphins!

          Private day tour from Iquitos
My friend and I did a 1 day private tour in Iquitos with Kelwin. He showed us Belen market, took us 2 boat rides, feed Paiche and hugged a sloth… Kelwin is nice and so knowledgeable. He made sure our safety and comfort. At same time, showed us so much. It was such a fun and rewarding day! I recommend Kelwin to anyone who wants to do day tour from Iquitos.

          Such a wonderful tour!!
Kelvin was our tour guide. He answered messages quite often and picked us up on time. We got some nice seats on a comfy boat, saw the river dolphins, and took lots of pictures! Visiting the alligators, paiche, and macaws was fun, we even tried some jungle fruits and saw how ‘nature repellent’ was from. Monkey Island was another amazing spot, seeing many different species of monkeys, very happy they’re well taken care of. Kelvin was very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged in helping us capture the interesting moments of wildlife. We had a great time on this tour😊😊😊

          Belen market tour
I’m really glad we managed to do the morning Belen market tour with Kelwin. The market is a very interesting place. I’m glad I went with Kelwin who explained a lot about the market and what was being sold. It was also very interesting to hear about the Belen area and about his life growing up and living in the area. The moto-taxi and to and from the market was also fun!

          Outstanding guide and outstanding tours
My wife and I did two separate day tours with Kelwin. Our tours were customized to our liking. We saw the fabulous Belen Market which is very large, where they sell every kind of produce and meat imaginable, and a whole section containing medicinal herbs. We had a great tour of the Amazon river and some tributaries by boat. On another day we did an extensive boat ride on the Amazon for some distance. We stopped along the way several times to see the fish farm, where we saw turtles, alligators, huge fish, Macau birds, etc. Also saw "The big tree", stopped to see an indigenous tribe where they let us practice using their blow gun, and walked in the Amazon jungle to see monkeys in the wild though some of the monkeys were tame and these monkeys can be handled, picked up and fed. Also saw a beautiful anteater carrying a baby on its back. We had a spectacular time on both tours with Kelwin. I highly recommend his tours. He is an outstanding guide. Very tuned in to your preferences and needs throughout the tour. Always on time, friendly, very knowledgeable, and I will recommend him to anyone I know that plans on visiting Iquitos.

          Excellent service!
Kelwin provided an excellent tour through the Belen market and community, and several stopping points on the Amazon. He accommodated our needs, answered all of our questions, and provided a very safe and informative experience with an authentic glimpse into the daily lives of the locals. As a local himself, he is a known and respected entity in the community. I highly recommend hiring Kelwin to see the area!

          Amazon nature
This was the second tour my friend and I took with Kelwin, and we loved it. The boat ride on the Amazon was relaxing; the stop at the fish farm included many beautiful trees and plants; and the visit to Isla de los Monos was wonderful. To get to the monkeys you hike (easy, level path) through gorgeous jungle. The monkeys were so much fun, and the tour supports rescue and rehabilitation. No one wanted to leave. Kelwin knows a lot about a lot of things...we talked about animals, food, plants, and Iquitos history and culture; he seemed to be honestly enjoying the experience and sharing with us. All the drivers (boats, tuk tuks) he works with were warm and welcoming, and we ended up taking a ride to the airport with Salomon, who was prompt and friendly. Just do it 😀

The trip Kelwin and I took into the jungle was fantastic and fun! The fact that we interacted with the animals made the trip special. The best part was the hike to the Lupuna Tree and being able to walk around it. Kelwin was a knowledgeable guide and taught me about the history and story of the tree, the river, and the indigenous tribes. Definitely going back to explore some more.

We did two days of tours with Kelwin's Adventures. The first one was the Belen market and the second one was the Native Species, Hike, and Animal Rescue Center. Our family did not have time for a longer excursion into the jungle, and so we were very impressed with how much wildlife and culture Kelwin was able to show us! Both tours were within a couple hours of Iquitos and yet we were able to see and interact with all manners of Amazonian animals. We know it was partially luck but we were able to see both species of Amazonian River Dolphin!

Kelwin's Amazon Adventure was a 5+ star experience. My family had a wonderful experience touring the Amazon jungle with Kelwin. He is very knowledgeable and he cares to ensure his guests have the best experience. We had a private tour and loved interacting with rescued animals being rehabilitated before being returned to the jungle or a preserve. We were very fortunate that we got to enjoy watching the two types of river dolphins as we toured the rivers. He speaks very good English. I will plan my return trip with Kelwin.

Kelwin made this an unforgettable experience. We literally flew into IQT from LIM for a one day to/from flight just for this Activity as it seemed like the best way to see the most in a day. We saw so many kinds of animals such as monkeys, ant eater, sloths, and more. He went above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. If we come back we will definitly book a different trip with him.

We are from California and had no idea if we were gonna be able to see the Amazon safely with a tour guide who spoke English but This adventure was amazing! Kelwin picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, and did a great job of showing us everything we wanted. He is a one man business so it’s very personal and feels better than doing a big tour with a large group. It was a private tour. Me my wife Shanin Blake and her mother got to hold monkeys, sloths, anacondas, feed giant fish, alligators, piranhas and see plenty of other beautiful animals like capibarras, turtles and even talking birds!!! Kelwin took us to the local black market where we saw many super cool super interesting things for sale from alligator heads to witch craft stuff to healing potions and lots of fish! It was CRAZY! Super interesting, and definitely worth it. We also got our face painted and danced with some local Amazon tribes. Kelwin speaks English well, we were able to understand him and he also made it super fun and made us laugh a lot. He took us to his favorite local restaurant which was delicious, he made us feel welcomed and safe, and He is a very good human being. We floated the Amazon river and he even knows where to take you to see link dolphins if it’s the right time of season! Anyways we give Kelwin a 10/5 stars. Highly recommend going with him in an Amazon adventure!
