- JefferyD10740 contributionsJust okBooked a rental car well in advance only to arrive to be told they don’t have a car for us and would it be ok if they provided a temporary car for one day. The temporary car had rubbish through it and was a death trap with seat belts that didn’t click in, warning lights on all the time and veered left. One day turned into 2 days for them to ask if we would be ok to keep the crappy car. We said no and they dropped off a decent car. From then was fine except the spare tyre was flat so hoping we didn’t get a puncture. I checked ahead before dropping the car off where to go and was told someone would meet us at the airport. Nobody met us and I had to search the airport looking for their office. Finally found someone only for them to tell me I had to wash the car before I returned it and charged me another $30 for the pleasure. I won’t use them again.Written 28 November 2024

The price was significantly lower than my hotel was charging and my quotes from other companies online. The car was clean, and had air conditioning. It was a very enjoyable drive with lots of good information shared with us. We took an unusual route at our request around the island, which made it a 6 hour trip but really well worth it with Knox as our driver. - hway290 contributionsEfficient and Comfortable Airport TransferBooked Uniquely Fiji for transfer from Nadi Airport to Warwick on the Coral Coast about a two hour drive. Staff were waiting at arrivals with a sign with my name on it. They introduced me to driver so all went smooth. Car was big and spacious like a small van. Easily fit our 4 person family. Could probably fit at least 2-3 more and plenty of room for luggage. Had air con and tinted windows. Asked driver if we could stop on the way to stock up on water and snacks and he said no problem and we did that. Driver waited patiently while we shopped. Driver was friendly and helpful pointing out different things along the way and giving tips for sight seeing. We were so impressed we booked Uniquely Fiji for the return trip back to the airport at the end of the holiday. Just emailed the staff and easily booked. Similar car on the return trip. - Keri J0 contributionsIt was okay but not idealWe were met at the airport arrivals after we got through customs etc. taken to the side and walked to the drivers car/small minivan / like a Toyota estima for our pre booked transfer to our hotel on the coral coast. The vehicle had a strange noise like aircon fan working hard - but also sounded like a broken stereo speaker - the whole time. He did t speak much unless we asked him questions directly, and we were expecting someone perhaps a bit more friendly and forthcoming with info after the great reviews we’d read. Maybe because customs was so slow he was running late ? It took us over an hour from landing to getting through customs and baggage collection etc, which was frustrating - but they did specifically ask us for our landing time, not what time we expected to be ready to depart. He seemed to be in a hurry for something though didn’t drive particularly quickly for much of the trip. The price was great but just not sure we’d use them again unless we had a better vehicle than the one we had.Written 14 June 2024

Travelling on my own with one bag. The pick up from airport was great. My driver Joe, was there on time, friendly, polite, drove safely, clean car and I had a great trip from airport to Hilton Hotel late at night, chatting to Joe about all things Fiji. This is my 5th visit to Fiji. My return trip, not so great..... I received an email from Booking.com to remind me of my upcoming airport transfer precisely 24 hours in advance. My flight time had changed and when I got the reminder, I realised I needed to be picked up 30 minutes earlier than the arrangement. Stupidly, Booking.com does not allow changes to the booking under 24 hours, so once you receive the reminder email, it is too late to make a change! : ( So, I decide to ring Uniquely Fiji directly at 8.18am (pickup time 7am following day). I spoke to a friendly woman who took all of my details and the change I needed to make and said she'd call me back. She did call me back at 9.10am and confirmed she had changed my booking from 7am to 6.30am and it wouldn't be a problem. The following morning I arrived at reception at 6.20am to wait for my ride. By 6.45am, reception staff at Hilton Hotel were worried and called Uniquely Fiji on my behalf. They were told my booking was 7am and not 6.30am but that the "driver was on the way" anyway. The driver arrived at 7.07am. His van was fine, however his driving was not. Speeding from the minute I got in the van, overtaking a school bus on the wrong side of the road on a blind corner. I have experienced erratic driving in Fiji on other occasions and it's not fun! Honestly, I don't know if I would use Uniquely Fiji again. Joe was great and if I could request him specifically, I would, but if I was to get a random driver, I'm not sure. Luckily I did get to the airport with time to spare but the stress of getting there later than planned is not a good way to end a holiday!Written 14 June 2024

On request, he took us to a local store on the way to our accommodation to buy some supplies. On the drive, Ali was so informative about the history and culture of Fiji, we ended up booking a private day trip around the Coral Coast with him during our stay. We travelled as a family of four, and found Uniquely Fiji’s prices very affordable for both the transfer and day trip.Written 27 April 2024

They were prompt and efficient. Our driver to the resort was very friendly and considerate and stopped us also at a local shopping centre to purchase some water and soft drinks that we required. Their transfer pricing was exceptionally reasonable and i rebooked the return and liasing with the company through the website was easy and not a problem. Great work guys!!Written 6 April 2024

Ordered a round trip for six adults and three children to and from Nadi airport to our hotel. The trip to the hotel was great, service as expected. A bit delayed but it was the start of our trip we did not mind. However the trip back to the airport was a nightmare:
1. We were asked to confirm our booking the day before. This we did and was told the transportation was confirmed for 6:30 on the day of travel.
2. Turned up at the the hotel lobby at 6:15am on the day of transfer with a driver who started off professional, but unhappy as he was expecting us at 6:00am. Frustrated, he mentioned that he is happy to wait as long as we paid him an additional 20FJD to compensate the party he was supposed to pick up at the airport at 6:30am. So that he can get another driver to pick them up instead, we were unhappy about this as we had already received a booking confirmation of 6:30am, but this is at fault of the communication between the hotel and uniquely.
3. When our family and friends arrived at the lobby, late due to hotel unable to find a porter for us. Which we asked if we could book the night before. They mentioned it will be fine just call 10 min before hand. The driver was angry and frustrated, even after we agreed to pay the additional 20FJD. There is already a discrepancy here, why would he be in a rush if we already agreed to pay him additional 20FJD to get another driver to pick up the party at the airport?
4. Unprofessional service from uniquely by angrily forcing us to pay additional 20FJD and yet still rush us, telling us he now has to speed in order to get to the airport. With three infant on the bus.
5. I would expect a new receipt from uniquely showing this additional 20FJD, showing who the additional driver was that was ordered to pick up the other party and the reason why our driver acted so unprofessional. Or else I would expect a full refund for the trauma he has caused my wife and kid and other family members during the ride to the airport.
6. Driver constantly looking at watch and shaking head.
7. Driver complaining he is now 30min late for every party until 2pm. Question, why is every passenger booked in so close together? And do these drivers not have a lunch break? Or backup drivers?

I booked a transfer on line and I was pleasantly when we got off the plane to find our friendly driver waiting for us, within a few minutes we were on our way to our hotel. We then asked if they could book us in for the morning to take us from the hotel to Port Denarau at 7.30am, and the next morning, bright and early our driver was there and very happy to share information about Nadi on the way to the ferry. We were heading up to the Yasawa Islands and our driver also had a lot of great information about the ferry and knew exactly where we were going. Our driver promised to meet us in 10 days time to pick us up at 6pm and take us back to the airport - and there he was as soon as we pulled up in the ferry. He helped us with getting our bags and nothing was too much of a problem. I was nervous with the transit times but he had us feeling at ease and moved us quickly and safely to the airport where we took a great photo together and we hope to see him again next year. I'm only sorry we didn't get his name, so we could thank him personally here.

Good experience. We were picked up by our driver after our flight was late getting in. He welcomed us in true Fiji fashion - very friendly and answered all our questions on the drive, giving great recommendations for us to check out during our stay. He even made a stop for us to buy snacks and water at a market, as he advised it would be much cheaper than at our resort. We will definitely be calling him for our future Fiji transport needs!

This company rip you off they agree one price then charge another would never use them again. Shame because the drivers where very good.

Bula Glen B, it was quite obvious that a negative review would be coming through when we received your phone call threat. Anyways, there are additional information provided before any booking is made and which clearly states everything about the booking. There is nothing wrong in charging extra to upgrade to a bigger vehicle if you have more luggage then expected for vehicle you booked for. And what is most disappointing here is that it was initially agreed to pay extra then what what is the purpose for this review.
Anyways, we will never do wrong to any of our guests as we have a reputation to protect. We will always try our level best to provide with the best service.
