He helped us with anything we needed before the trip and listened to what we wanted and needed to make sure the tour was exactly what we wanted. - mint19870 contributionsSuffocating.... drown in bad attitudeI took this private tour, making it clear that I will be filming documentary about the topic. Vilma is the first one who reply but she didn't have any idea of the trip and took a while to pass me on to her college, Elton Elton seems to understood what I wanted and said ' we've worked with journalist, youtuber and influencer before, we knows how it's done and will provide you with the proper guide for the job' The priced changed 3 times more and more, 5 mins said including lunch, 5 minutes later not. I didn't mind and agree to pay as Im running out of option. The next morning of the pick-up, Vilma got the name wrong as there were 2 similar hotels which wouldn't be a big deal if she, instead of fixing and be a bit apologetic, but she chose to blame me for her mistake and kept texting me nonstop like I owned this trip to her as she did me a favor and so on and so I blocked her and unlocked again cuz I need the invoice lol. My guide was always in a bad mood, he crashed the car into the fence and cursed multiple times and kept cursing. He told me in a very rude way to not put his face in the video which I respected and didn't do it. Although I assumed otherwise as I was very transparent about this trip since the beginning and informed people who needed ti be informed. His Word choices could be improve as he was very very rude. But lucky him, I did tip or not I don't know hahaha cuz he sent me a thank you message for the tips. Maybe I accidentally did as I've been traveling for few weeks and got tired 😀 Elton later told me that u should have told him...well with the hot hated guide who had to drive you to remote places and you a solo female... I wouldn't lol Overall experience is -100 however I got what I need only in a very rough manner possible. It's hard to talk to guide as well although very knowledgeable but very rough and rude. His attitude of know it all and he's better than anyone else is very suffocating. Well this is my personal experience.Written 12 September 2024
- ori6090 contributionsThe Most Epic Adventure We Couldn’t Have Dreamed of Ourselves! WOW!WOW! That’s the only word to describe our experience with Toni, Vilma, and their amazing team at Albanian Trip. This was, hands down, the best family vacation we’ve ever had – and trust me, this wasn’t the kind of trip you can plan on your own! From day one, it was clear that we were in for something truly special. We stayed in a perfect mix of charming guest houses and some truly amazing hotels, offering the best of both worlds – from the simplicity of local life to the fancy comfort of top-tier accommodations. It was a seamless blend of authenticity and luxury. The adventure didn’t stop there! We explored hidden canyons, chased waterfalls, and cruised through secret water caves by boat. Every twist and turn revealed a new jaw-dropping landscape, whether it was the majestic mountains, serene lakes, or the breathtaking turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. It was like stepping into a new dream every day. And let me rave about the food for a second – every meal was an adventure of its own! Whether in the cozy guest houses or at a fine hotel restaurant, Toni and Vilma made sure we experienced the rich, flavorful heart of Albanian cuisine. The coastal cities we visited had such a lively, energetic vibe – the perfect blend of beach relaxation and cultural immersion. Our kids loved every second of the trip, and my wife and I were just as enchanted. This was more than just a vacation – it was a thrill-packed adventure that exceeded all our expectations. If you’re even thinking about visiting Albania, stop thinking and book with Albanian Trip now! Toni and Vilma will give you an adventure that will blow your mind – you’ll be talking about it for years. Five stars aren’t enough for this epic experience!Written 7 September 2024
- MaykeMoraes0 contributionsAmazing private tour!!!!My fiancée and I had an incredible experience with Albanian Trip during a private tour of Tirana with the excellent guide Elton, who is an extremely polite person, fluent in English, and possesses vast knowledge about everything related to Albania. Thanks to him, we experienced a true cultural immersion, tasting authentic flavors in places only locals know. We visited hidden markets, local restaurants, places off the tourist route, and even the home of an Albanian family who welcomed us as if we were part of their family. There, we had the opportunity to learn more about the daily lives of the locals. We did extensive research before choosing Albanian Trip, and we firmly believe that our decision couldn’t have been more right, so much so that we plan to do more tours with them across the country. Therefore, if you’re looking for a true and authentic experience, Albanian Trip is undoubtedly the best choice.Written 4 September 2024
- danielaH9636CO0 contributionsAmazing Albanian Trip!We had the most amazing holiday in Albania. We were blown away by the beautiful landscapes and views, history, activities and of course the amazing food and wine. We would not have been able to experience this without the expert knowledge and planning of Vilma and Elton at Albanian trip/Wild Ways. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning to visit Albania. We had a wonderful driver/guide, Kidi, who not only drove us everywhere but also taught us so much about Albania's culture and always found us fabulous places to eat, hike and enjoy our holiday. He really added so much to our experience turning it from a lovely holiday into something super special. The highlights for us were, the food and wine, white water rafting in Vjosa river, the castle and horse riding in Gjirokaster, the archaeological site at Butrint and the beautiful coast. Thank you so much!Written 1 September 2024
- Fearless8235780 contributionsGreat Day tour to Berat & DhermiWe took a day trip with Elton to Berat and onwards to Dhermi and it was superb. He has a wealth of knowledge of Albania, its history, its geography, and social nuances. And a good sense of humour We threw every question we had at him and he always had a sensible answer :-) Very easy to communicate with, pickup was right outside our airbnb and car was decent. Would highly recommend AlbaniaTrip and use them again when we hopefully next visit AlbaniaWritten 24 August 2024
- ortencad20240 contributionsExploring Albania: An UNFORGETTABLE Experience!I recently returned to Albania after eight years of being away, and my experience was UNFORGETTABLE, thanks to the help of the Albanian Trip team. I would never have been able to explore the Albanian beauties without the help of the Albanian Trip planning and guidance. The level of detail and personalization in their planning was remarkable. We had a spectacular time exploring this beautiful country from north to south, and every day was an adventure. The itinerary was meticulously planned, covering everything from the rugged landscapes of the Albanian Alps to the sun-soaked beaches of the Ionian Sea and the scenic beauty of the Albanian Riviera through the beautiful traditional cities of Shkodra, Berat, Korca, and Gjirokastra. Every moment was thoughtfully curated. Each destination offered unique experiences, thanks to the expertly guided tours and local recommendations provided by Albanian Trip. Accommodations ranged from traditional cozy guesthouses to charming bed and breakfasts to luxurious boutique hotels in the cities and seaside resorts, each offering a unique taste of Albanian hospitality and tradition. The team’s attention to detail ensured smooth transitions between locations and activities, including hiking, rafting, boat trips, etc. Their enthusiasm for showcasing the best of Albania was compelling, making our journey not just a vacation but a truly enriching experience. The experienced Albanian Trip staff, Elton, Vilma, Alma, etc, were so responsive to our questions and needs, making this experience easy to enjoy. I will definitely use your excellent service anytime I come to Albania, and I'm inspired to share this enriching experience with others. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED the Albanian Trip tour operator for anyone wanting to get the best experience of this stunning country!Written 24 August 2024
- erti_gj0 contributionsTrip around Albania with friends and kidsAlbanian Trip took care of a trip I organised for 45 people for a full week around the southern part of Albania. Without them I would have not engaged in this crazy adventure….They took care of all the transport, accommodation, restaurant booking and activities which involved a lot of visits and fun such as rafting or trekking. The hotels and restaurants were all hand picked which made our trip unforgettable. We had our own guide and our own driver with a bus along the whole journey, this allowed us to make the trip really special and private with no time wasted and hassle free. I am Albanian myself and know the country quite well but not as well as Alda and Elton who used all their knowledge and organisational skills to make it perfect for us.Written 16 August 2024
- Happiness465679468740 contributionsHoliday in AlbaniaDear Albanian Trip, Having just returned back to UK from our 10 day activity packed family holiday in Albania, I am not quite certain whether this was one of those high adrenaline adventure holidays , a typical sun kissed holiday filled with guilty pleasures, swimming and photoshop like sunsets, or even a history themed holiday? Seemingly, all of the above and more. We are still going through the pictures to make sure we really were there. I suppose we were fortunate to take advantage of the invaluable knowledge of Albanian Trip, a super friendly and efficient local tour operator. Our guide Elton, turned out to be a very interesting and engaging multi-lingual chap that seemed to genuinely love his job, his country, its history and culture and was rather adept at sharing it with us. Our tour, managed to avoid for the most part the tourist packed hot spots, and whilst we had plenty of sea and sun (and lakes for that matter) , we also had a chance to go hiking, kayaking in enchanting Albanian gorges and generally acquaint ourselves with the Albanian hinterland, mixing with locals and enjoying their cuisine. I’d write a list of all the places we visited but they are simply too many. If you do have the time and get a chance to go to Albania my parting advice will be to not miss out on the simply postcard-like towns of Berat, Korca and Gjirokasta and visit some of their small-ish but genuinely interesting museums; other than the famous riviera, consider visiting the lakes (Ohri, Shkodra) and even some of the rivers and gorges. The history buffs will be able to feast on a diet of museums, ruins and artefacts that range from the Greco-Roman to the Byzantine and Ottoman to mention but a few. In the end, enjoy a good coffee in Tirana and observe the eclectic mix of mosques and churches, Italianate and Soviet inspired architecture, the old and the new. All in all , a great and memorable holiday. Alas, now back to work Thank you Albanian Trip, we shall be backWritten 16 August 2024

This tour was absoultely fantastic! My guide Ervin was funny, polite, patient and very friendly telling me fascinating stories, showed me sights, museums and even got to eat their local cuisine. History can be too much for me to take in but it was explained simpler so it was easier to understand what it was all about.
However, what really touched me was meeting this genuine couple who have lived in the days of the dark past expressing and shared their personal memories without fear.
How they made through it really amazes me and to hear it coming from the experience was a true blessing, and I also believe this was an inspiration not to take life for granted by always making the most of what we've got whilst it's still there.
Ervin did a magnificent job and we got on so well we had a few (social) beers after! It felt like I was with a friend because he was that brilliant!

It was a guided tour starting in Tirana's outskirts, seeing the prefabricated concrete buildings of the sixties, then we continued to the flea market and to a very interesting conversation with the father of one of the organizers, who told us about his life during the communist regime.
That, by itself was worth the trip, but we continued visiting the socialist art gallery and walking down the wide avenues of Tirana. We also saw the statue of the Nation's hero, and got comments of all the sorroundigs, a true abridgment of the communist days. Unfortunately, a monument to the memory of the fallen was closed those days, since that would have been the icing in the cake.
As interesting as the monuments and places we saw, was the comments of our guide, very knowledgeable of Albanian affairs, as couldn't be otherwise. His English was also excellent.
We only have nice words for Albanian Trip for such an amazing day.

I am so thankful for Irvin spending an entire day with me on the Communist tour, I learned so much. Irvin was incredibly accommodating, I saw at least ten different sites and that was on a Sunday! Tirana is an amazing city, I cannot recommend this tour group enough!
