The BEST all round tour of Sarajevo!
Fantastic, informative and comprehensive tour, guided by Mak who was friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to give us facts as well as share personal experiences which really added to the experience and helped bring it to life even more. I would personally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sarajevo as you simply don't need anyone else.

Don't waste your time with the other tours. This is the tour to book!
If you want to learn what happened during the war in Sarajevo, this is the tour to take. Mak is passionate about conveying the history and the current struggles in Sarajevo, but he also left us with a sense of hope for the future. No questions were off limits. This is one of those tours that will stick with you and you'll talk about long after your trip is over.

Mak is a MUST tour guide
Mak was our tour guide and made our Sarajevo trip an absolute highlight. We have never had a tour guide so knowledgeable about his country and history. Mak is well educated, has perfect English and really knows his facts. He also shared his personal Experiences during the siege. He was also helpful suggesting restaurants and other trip advice. We thoroughly enjoyed Mak.

      Comprehensive tour
This was a really good tour, which included the war tunnels and other important sights of Sarajevo. We had a small group (there was only four of us) and a wonderful guide, Mak, who was thorough and professional at all times. He spoke clearly and in an organised way and shared his personal story of the war. Mak answered all our questions in detail, including those of a personal nature. I thoroughly recommend this tour to others visiting Sarajevo.

Stunning natural lush landscape with stone bridges and waterfalls
We did the full day Mostar tour with Mak and what an amazing experience. First of all it’s a small group and hence you don’t waste time. Then Mak knows exactly how to beat the traffic and the crowd, took some amazing photos, gave us so much information about the history and crowned our experience with a delicious traditional roast lamb lunch on a table with a superb view of the river valley. We also had the freshest pomegranate juice and dried fruit in Pocitelj. Thank you Mak for sharing your beautiful country with us.

      Detailed to the bone
We joined Mak’s day tour during our visit in Sarajevo. Very impressive to listen to all detailed stories he can tell about the city and her horrible war history, that the city carries with her. Perfect way to see more than only the city center. Thanks again!

My tour with Mac was nothing short of phenomenal! His passion to represent the culture of the area is extraordinary. Tour was informative with special touch in every detail. The group felt engaged and storytelling brought the sights to life that added an extra layer of enjoyment. Great professionalism in both knowledge and communication. The transport was comfortable throughout the tour. Without any doubt, Mac exceeded all my expectations. If you are searching for an exceptional guide that will make your visit super special and memorable, look no further than him. Highly highly highly recommended!!!!!

From the start to the end the tour was exceptional. I went with my husband and we were very surprised with whole tour. The story of tunnel was sad, but a must see in Sarajevo. We strongly agree that this story should hear everyone. Guide was Mak, very knowledged with impeccable skills. Thank you art & tours. We will surely recommend you.

We had a great time in the Bosnian mountains trekking to Lukomir. The transport was without any troubles and our guide Mak told us some interesting facts about the region bordering on Herzegovina and the mountain village. We enjoyed a nice meal in the village, checked out the nearby vista and had a relaxing way back to Sarajevo. If you enjoy an easy trek in a beautiful landscape, you will enjoy this tour!

After doing a nice tour with art and travel, we decided to book another tour and they suggested us to see Lukomir. I am very surprised with the nature in Bosnia and did not expect how beautiful the country is. The tracks while hiking are good and views are incredible, you don't need to be in super shape to do it, but it was a good exercise for us. The village is very special and the food was also tasty. Our guide was Edi and he was asking if we are tired, do we need rest, so no rush at all. We recommend to every person that wants to see the country side and mountains of Sarajevo.

My family and I spent a week in Bosnia touring the various popular tourist destinations but this trip was by far the highlight of the week for all of us. The tour started and we were picked up outside our house which was a pleasant surprise since we thought we had to meet somewhere in the city centre.

The drive there was, in some ways, equally enjoyable as the hike itself. Mak, our guide, spoke to us about the geography and history of Bosnia, and spoke at length about the recent conflict. We were very excited to learn that Mak had given tours to some high profile celebrities too! The views during the drive were pleasant and we were shown views of the various mountains used in the Olympic games (many of the signs put up during the games are still visible).

Once we arrived at the bottom of the mountain we began our ascent. Mak helped us keep a steady pace and pointed out the various mountain ranges and visible ravines. At various points you can see the ranges that belong in Bosnia and those that belong to Herzegovina. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The trek was certainly a workout for my elder family members but we got to the village eventually. The village itself was very simple yet pleasant. We enjoyed lunch at the mountain restuarant and had burak with mountain juices (highly recommend the Elderflower juice). Following lunch Mak spoke to us about the way of life for villagers in Lukomir and showed us around a little.

We then made the descent back down. In summary the trip was definitely worth it since the mountain ranges in Bosnia are certainly unlike any other I’ve ever seen. For us however the time spent with Mak was probably the highlight. We certainly felt as if we experienced true Bosnian hospitality in his company.

The views on this tour are fantastic, on one side are wide open alpine meadows and on the other is a deep canyon. The village itself is a gem, it looks and smells like a mountain village that herds sheep and does small farms. We had their famous barak as we rested from the hike.

Rain was predicted so the tour company. altered the trip to be a road trip instead of a hike. However when we got close to Lukomire the weather was good enough to hike so Bakir, my guide, let me off about 7KM for the village and I got to hike to it. Afterwards we hiked for about an hour and a half in the other direction, so despite the prediction of rain I got a good hike in. The only downside was a long ride on a rather bad road which isolates the village. I am not complaining, if there was a paved road the village wouldn't be what it is.

The tour was great: perfect choice of locations to stop, private bus to ride but most of all incredible guide. Alen shared with us his personal story during the war and that really made the tour special. We also got the chance to visit the abandoned bob slope from the olympics of ‘84. Defenetely the best tour of Sarajevo we could hope for
