Departure at 8:00 a.m. behind the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Plovdiv is the main highlight of this tour as the city is one of the oldest in Europe and it's also the European Capital of Culture for 2019. It was inhabited by the Thracians, Romans, Goths, Slavs and Ottomans, whose traces have turned the town into a museum.
A place of special interest is the old part of the town. Brilliant examples of the Bulgarian national revival period are preserved here. You could sit among the ruins of the ancient Roman theatre and feel the atmosphere of an extinct world. The duration is approx 8 hours. This tour finishes at the Alexander Nevski Cathedral.
