- Go5984380 contributionsBig fun with Nicole and AlexA museum in the very centre of Sofia. Though rather small you can spend quite some time there. All exhibits are very interesting and well translated into English and German. The best of all are both staff Nicole and Alex. Without there expertise and help our experience would be only half the fun. Among the exhibits are a number of interactive displays where photos with your smartphone must be taken. Alex and Nicole knew exactly what our position and gesture should be to achieve the best possible results. They made very funny shots. Thank you to Nicole and Alex. Some of the illusions I couldn't quite see thru no fault of the museum. One of the staff working there Alex took the time out to take me through all the exhibition telling me all about it and taking pictures for me. He deserves 5 stars.

What’s fun time we had here. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be for kids but us, mature aged adults, had a great time. So much to see and challenge your brain. While it wasn’t crowded when we were there, any more people would have made it uncomfortable as we had to wait to interact with exhibits or even just read the signs explaining what we were going to look at or have to do.
Despite that, it was fun and interesting and nothing like we’ve ever done.

We took our 7 year old here and it was amazing for both children and adults.
It isn’t a large place but they have plenty on show with explanations in multiple languages. It is interactive, fun and the staff were all helpful, especially the young man on the main floor who helped us take several photos and he really makes the effort to ensure families are inspired and enjoying their time. He may not realise it now but people like him inspire the young children to pick up science.

We just visited the Museum of Illusions, and it was the worst experience ever. It was absolutely terrible with nothing interesting to see. I've been to many museums over the years, including ones with the same concept, and this was by far the most disappointing. The displays were lackluster, poorly executed, and offered no real engagement. There was nothing unique or impressive about it, and we left feeling like it was a complete waste of time and money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially if you're used to more interactive or thought-provoking museum experiences.

Dear Daniel, we're sorry to hear that your experience wasn't what you were expecting. This is the third time we are reading the same review written by you. The museum is private and we have around 400 sq. meters in space and over 50 interactive exhibits, which can help you discover the world of illusions while you deep in history and physics. Our exhibition is usually known for the interactivity and guided stories to help adults and kids explore the mysterious world through exhibits.

I had so much fun in the museum, it’s very interesting and informative, I can’t say thank you enough to the staff who work there, all of them with no exception. They are helpful, they come to take you pictures without you even ask, they so friendly and very approachable. Hats off, keep up your great work.
I recommend anyone visiting Sofia to visit the museum and enjoy a different experience.

We had an amazing time at the Museum of Illusions in Sofia. It is located right in the center of the city, near the Central Universal Store.
The museum is not big in terms of space, but it was so interesting we easily spent 1.5h+ there with my lover. The photos we took will be lifelong memories!
The price of 23lv is a bit high, but worth it.
Highly recommend the place.

We a great time and it was a really packed visit. Everything worked perfectly which feels quite rare in interactive museums and the staff were SO lovely and attentive. Shout out to Cvita who was so lovely and informative. Go by yourself. Go with kids. Go with friends.

Even without child, the museum is amazing and you can enjoy and have fun. Is very nice to feel how the images play with your brain. The museum is a quite small, but you will spend easy one hour. The best is going with another person, because some attractions needs a partner with you

An exhibit definitely worth visiting! It’s suitable for every category of age and many parts are interactive which made it so much more fun, especially that you can immortalize the moment by several pictures. A special shoutout to Alex that took my friend and I so many fun pictures and recommended us poses to do for the inverted decor ( my favorite part of the exhibit!! The exit shop is also very interesting and full of interestingly curious objects in the same spirit of illusionism, I recommend a 100%

I visited this museum Saturday afternoon, it was a bit crowded but still i had a lot of fun! The guides were very helpful and took many pictures of us, also explained some of the illustrations. We felt kindly welcomed and definitely recommend it. It would probably be better to visit during the week days and not the weekend though.
