About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 677annkatrinu0 contributionsMore than worth itPetra was an excellent guide! She had an impressive knowledge of the history as well as recent political and cultural events. The 2,5 h just flew by - it was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend the tour without hesitation!Written 8 February 2025
- rpcvtraveler750 contributionsPlitvice National Park in winter is worth visitingOur guide, Petra, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. She also gave us insights to the local culture and traditions. She was open to our questions and was not afraid to tell us if she didn’t know the answer (which was rare). This trip met our expectations of being active outside in a beautiful setting. An added bonus was a stop in Rastoke to see more incredibly beautiful waterfalls and learn about the history of that village. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Croatia.Written 16 January 2025
- alecw2330 contributionsA must do!We had the most amazing time. Our tour guide, Petra, was so informative and knowledgeable. We got lucky enough to have just us on the tour which made it so personalised and special. Could not speak of Petra and the tour in higher regards, would recommend to everyone.Written 7 December 2024
- 8sophiat0 contributionsDINKO the best!We had the amazing day in Ljubljana and Lake Bled! Our tour guide Dinko was very informative and friendly. Our day was made more amazing with beautiful weather! We highly recommend this tour for anyone who want to visit this area!!!Written 5 December 2024
- Global133954692480 contributionsWonderful tour!Had high expectations for this tour and I was not disappointed. The park is spectacular and the tour was conducted at an easy, comfortable pace. I do feel that a guided tour enhanced the experience and allowed us to see everything we wouldn’t want to miss. We were a small group of eight, and that was perfect. The vehicle was very comfortable. The day was made even more special by our wonderful guide Ivan. He was knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and truly showed that he loved the park and his job. He made sure all were happy and got everything we needed from the experience.Written 25 October 2024
- Shannon E0 contributionsExcellent guide and a small group size make this experience exceptional! Our guide Bo is genuinely friendly, experienced, happy to answer questions, and avoided bottlenecks in the park when possible. He communicated our intinerary well and kept us on schedule. I never felt rushed and had plenty of time to take in the amazing sights. The park is stunning and a smaller group makes the experience so much more enjoyable. The speed limit on the way back is 130 km/hr and that can definitely feel fast but I never felt unsafe. Bo took great care of us!Written 23 October 2024
- 762juliant0 contributionsFabulous tripWe had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Weather was great and the views were fantastic. Walking on broadwalks over the waterfalls was amazing. A fabulous experience. Our guide was helpful and friendly.Written 21 October 2024

We knew little to nothing about the history of Zagreb and we learned a great deal from himMarko was an excellent guide. We knew little about the history of the city of Zagreb and we learned a lot about both Zagreb and the country of Croatia. - vido0 contributionsAmazing day!Had the most amazing day in Ljubljana and Lake Bled! Our tour guide Dinko was lovely and very informative. Our day was made more amazing with beautiful weather! We highly recommend this tour!Written 16 October 2024
- Freedom085753891050 contributionsBeautiful natureRastoke and Plitvice were explicitly beautiful, nature at it’s best. We arranged for a group of 8 van. I feel it was just the right size, comparing with the bigger tour groups. Our guide was very knowledgeable and clear in his explanationWritten 16 October 2024
- ARAER0 contributionsPlitvice Lakes & RastukeThe day trip was exceptional. The guide was very well informed & answered any questions & took lots of photos. HOWEVER - the dangerous driving was unacceptable. Driving too close to cars in front and overtaking a long lorry, it was pure luck that a car wasn’t coming round the corner. My husband asked him not to do it again as he wanted to get home alive. He did apologise. When leaving the van the other passengers agreed with what we thought but unfortunately hadn’t said anything. You have peoples lives & by default the lives of there families in your hands when you are driving people around.Written 14 October 2024
- benbS1985OW0 contributionsAmazing guide and a must visit in CroatiaAmazing trip, a most do when in Zagreb. Our guide was fantastic very knowledgeable and plenty to chat about to him. The park itself is stunning and you get a lot of time there walking around with the guide.Written 14 October 2024
- 285bethd0 contributionsA MUST-DO in CroatiaMy daughter and I absolutely loved this tour! Plitvice Lakes is stunningly beautiful, and our guide, Renato, made ours a perfect day. We’ve been in Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary on this trip, and Plitvice was the highlight among many wonderful experiences. Highly recommended!Written 12 October 2024
- Andreja P0 contributionsBooringI was really looking forward to this walking tour, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The guide was friendly, but the tour itself felt quite rushed, and we didn’t get much in-depth information about the sights we visited. The group size was also too large, making it hard to hear the guide at times. While we did visit some key spots in Zagreb, I was hoping for more local insights or unique stories to make the experience stand out. Overall, it was an okay introduction to the city, but it lacked the personal touch I was hoping for.Written 11 October 2024
- Q9282CVsimones0 contributionsInsightful and interesting. We covered many of the more interesting ‘sights’ of the town and Petros was knowledgeable and engaging. Having the benefit of a local guide was great and provided an extra dimension to the sights shown. Taking us to the funicular just before the cannon shot was a highlight. Something we’d not experienced before. Make sure you take some water. Even though it wasn’t overly hot it is a walking tour after all and handy to have a drink on you. Very enjoyable and highly recommend.Written 11 October 2024

Our guide Petra picked us up at our Airbnb. Very friendly and professional. She speaks very understandable English and told us a lot about Zagreb, including some interesting stories and anecdotes.
The funicular and the cannon shot were also included.
Unfortunately the tunnel was closed due to flooding, but of course that's not anyone's fault.
All in all a great way to get to know Zagreb.
Thank you very much

On our day it was just my husband and myself so if felt like a personal tour. Petra was excellent and we enjoyed our tour with her. She met us at our hotel and walked us back as well. We had wandered on our own the day before, but she opened up the city to us and I felt like we learned so much not only about Zagreb, but also Croatia. It's the perfect amount of time and allows you to navigate town on your own afterwards. Really glad we took this tour. We enjoyed it so much, that we also booked the trip the Lake Bled and Ljubljana!

Visnja was an excellent and fun guide for this late morning/early afternoon tour around Zagreb.
There is so much to see and do here, and we packed in a lot in a few hours. Visnja's interest in and deep knowledge of Zagreb's sites and history made for a very enjoyable experience.
It really gave me a terrific background for the rest of my stay here and day trips outside of the city, as Croatia has a long and complicated history.
Thank you for making my first full day in Zagreb a most excellent one!

On our first day in Zagreb we thought it wise to have a tour of the city to get our bearings. Petra from Petros Tours was our guide. Charming girl with excellent idiomatic English, she walked us round this interesting city, with a huge amount of information on what we were seeing. Highly recommended . Anne and Hector

Spent a great and really informative morning with Petra. A great guide who brought Zagreb to life - it’s history and as a modern day city.
Three hours flew by as we wandered the lower and upper town and importantly gave us lots of ideas of visits and things to do for the following couple of days.
Thoroughly recommend.

Tomaslav was a wonderful guide. A punctual pickup at our hotel, warm greeting set the tone for a great tour. We had a limited time to stay in Zagreb so Tomislav’s historical knowledge and anecdotal stories were priceless to see the highlights of this lovely city. We would have never ever found on our own the sites we saw with him to get a true vibe of this intriguing city. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

I had the pleasure to meet Petra that knew the story behind every single stone Zagreb is made of. She picked me up from the hotel and we went around the city centre for about a three hours walk. this is the best decision I made as I planned the walk as a first activity when I arrived and it gave me a good insight for the rest of my trip.

Thanks
