- George C0 contributionsA true hidden gem in EuropeOne of the most underrated countries in Europe. There is so much to see and do here, particularly if you love history and culture. I am very happy that I finally got the chance to return and now I will be visiting far more often. Very friendly and helpful locals who put up with my stilted Russian :). If you have any sense, ignore the idiotic clickbait videos on YouTube and come and see for yourself. This country is a true gem and you will also have a great time with the right attitude.Written 9 February 2025
- 337calinr0 contributionsThe best way to experience the Moldovan vineyards+ the tour was very nice, Moldova surprised us with its beauty and the guide, Ecaterina, was well prepared and super nice - I can only recommenf going in a tour with her. Everything was perfectly organized even if we booked the tour only one day in advance - a bit pricy, but included also the wine tastingWritten 31 January 2025

- dominikgT2793SC0 contributionsGood decent tripFirst stop in Bender, monument before castle, should be discussed quicker as then at the end of the day we had not enought time for Tiraspol, but generally whole trip was unique, interesting and safe. Good occasion to see sentiments towards soviet union in the country aspiring to enter UE.Written 28 October 2024
- cheeo20240 contributionsMoldova - 10 Days Complete TourI’m a travel agent, and I embarked with 2 of my clients, on a 10-days tour of Moldova from August 28 to September 6, 2024, with Moldova To Visit, and it was a fantastic tour. It was a customized private tour. Before the tour started, I had communicated for quite some time with Liliya, the owner and part guide, on what interesting places to visit, especially the various UNESCO World Heritage sites. With input from me and my clients on our travel tastes, she was excellent in terms of quick responses, organization, knowledge, and experience not only with office matters, but overall operation and information on Moldova. It was a pleasure working with Liliya. On the itinerary: Every place of visit was fantastic – in terms of historical, cultural, archaeological and the landscape geography. There were 2 main guides from the company, including Liliya, but there were also local guides in various places, to share their knowledge of a particular location. We visited numerous cathedrals, churches, various wine tastings, archaeological sites, and mosques. One of the most interesting places we visited was Transnistra, an almost sovereign region that is not recognized as a country. It was part of Russia, and they used the Transnistrian Rubles, which can only be used in Transnistra, and is the only currency I know of that is made of plastic. They do not want to be a part of Russia nor Moldova. It got its independence in 1990, but the UN still recognizes Transnistra as part of Moldova. Liliya took us to a local supermarket, where we bought a set of plastic coins that is not in use (they use the Euro currency), and August 27th is Moldova’s independence day, and they celebrated it with festival of music and food. We attended a couple of night concerts on our own, and it was free to the public. One of the concerts had a local Moldovan celebrity singer, and the open air concert was packed, and close to our hotel. On food: We got to try local Moldovan dishes…..excellent mixed meat dishes in terms of variety, and they were delicious. Pretty much all breakfasts and most dinners were included. One of the main exports of Moldova is wine, and we visited wineries and wine tasting almost every day. The wines were of very good quality, and we bought a couple of bottles. On accommodations: As Moldova is a small country, we stayed in the capital city of Chisinau for all the days, as we could easily visit all the places in the tour itinerary, and get back to the hotel within a day. The hotel was situated right in the center of the capital. This makes walking around the city during after hours tours easy, and exploring the city on our own. Liliya and all the other guides were very careful drivers and made sure safety was a priority. The guides were also flexible in stopping for restroom breaks and snacks, but more importantly, they would stop at places of interests that were not on the itinerary. In summary, all I can say is that Moldova has to be on one’s bucket list, and Moldova To Visit is one of the best tour companies that I have gone on! I will definitely go back again to visit some places that we did not get to visit. CheeWritten 18 October 2024
- davidalbertd20150 contributionsBest option for a short Moldovan VisitThe program was the best option for a short stay visitor of 02 nights. The program schedule was very compact and gives a birds eye view and experience in a span of 07 hours from start snd end point. The Chisinau City tour allowed me to get up and close to the historic and valuable sites within the town. This was paired with a ride on the publlic transport called a trolley bus wherein the professional and highly educated guide Ms. Janna was glad to share. However I suggest an entry visit to a museum in a city to be included in the program for a more cultural experience, and some time for souvenir shopping. The second part of the tour can be considered as the highlight due to its historical and archaeological importance. The drive from the city to the old orhei complex was very smooth. This was supplemented with a breath taking hike and amazing panoramic views, moreover a religious site on the top was the bonus. Ms. Lilia the energetic and jolly guide made sure every fact was shared to the guest. Overall it was the most satisfying and amazing experience to not be missed while in chisinau, Moldova.Written 2 October 2024
- dnonaa0 contributionsComplete picture of MoldovaI really enjoyed this program. Lilia was a wonderful guide, who helped me to learn about daily life in Moldova, the beauty of the country and its cultural traditions, as well as the difficulties of Moldova. I got a complete picture of the country, for which I cannot be thankful enough. Old Orhei is stunning, and the 120 km labyrinth system of the Cricova winery is also amazing. The wine tasting was also super. I would especially like to point out that Lilia drove very safely, which I think is a particularly important aspect of such a program. So if you are in Moldova, don't hesitate to book this program :)Written 29 September 2024
- callummB1075NC0 contributionsExcellent coordinators!I am very grateful to Mr Igor and Mrs Kozma for putting me in touch with another invaluable and independent tour guide whose local knowledge suited my visit to Pridnestrovie. Over WhatsApp messaging they were very responsive to my customised itinerary of visiting the country and making sure I had made contact with the tour guide, Anton Dendemarchenko. I am especially appreciative as they went the extra mile to ensure I would maximise my experience by directing my custom elsewhere. Next time I visit Moldova's Republic I intend to explore it with the Moldova to Visit team!Written 22 September 2024

A great tour by a knowledgeable guide. Spartan but very clean and comfortable hotel. A beautiful and interesting country with very friendly people. I would highly recommend it. Not a private tour. 2 or 3 other people were on the tour, but they were interesting as well.
