The tour to Viscri Church, Sighisoara Town, and Rupea Fortress is engaging, with the guide providing clear and informative insights into the history and culture of the area. Visiting during the low season allowed us to enjoy a peaceful experience without crowds.

Great communication prior to the tour and since I was solo that day, Charlie (my guide), picked me up at my Airbnb. His car was clean and comfortable and we had great conversation on our way to the various sites. As we discussed what I had seen and done on previous days, he was able to tie together how the whole history and places connected. We enjoyed a lunch in Sighisoara and dessert in Viscri. I learned so much and was an absolutely wonderful day!

Tiberiu was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions that popped up during the tour. Brasov is a beautiful city with such a fascinating history, and this tour let us catch a glimpse into the past and future of the city

Dan was an entertaining and very knowledgeable driver/guide. We were able to get to Bran castle before it was too crowded thank heavens because the queue was huge when we left! Dan’s explanations were great and he answered all our questions. Rasnov fortress not as interesting as closed off but Dan explained more history as we looked out over Rasnov town. We enjoyed this tour.

Hello We are a couple visiting Romania from Chicago. We had a fantastic tour with Dan to Bran, Prejmer and Harman. Prejmer and Harman are fortified churches which are truly amazing. More interesting and authentic than castles. We highly recommend this tour!

We had a tour from Tiberiu, who was fantastic! He arrived on time and assisted us with the entrance fees for Bran castle before we got there, which made the difference when we got there. He was polite, knowledgeable and passionate about the history, we were only a group of four and he ensured that we were comfortable and was really funny which made the whole tour very interesting. We then moved onto the Rasnov fortress again, really interesting, and he made the whole trip easy. We really enjoyed our tour and would definitely recommend friends & family visiting this area. We enjoyed Mihai’s expertise and company! We took a short trip to Bran’s castle and then headed to a village. It was wonderful getting to take a long walk in the countryside and later enjoying a local meal and hospitality. Great experience overall with Mihail giving us a brief history of Romania.

Guide was knowledgeable and well prepared (with bear spray in case when needed), tour was good, managed to see few foxes and a brown bear.

We had a great tour experience today with Mihai! He taught us a lot about Romanian history (he was VERY knowledgeable!) and he was also very kind and made us feel comfortable. We had the opportunity to go to Sighișoara, Viscri, and Rupea today and it was so beautiful. Transilvania is wonderful! We hope to come back to Transilvania very soon. If you want a knowledgeable, respectful tour guide, Mihai is your guy!

We visited on a Sunday and there were crowds at the castle sites so we were glad to have Dan as our guide. He was most helpful in explaining the complexities of the royal families and indeed the shifting complexities of the nationalities in the Balkans

This was one of our most memorable tour days ever, because of the expertise of Tiberiu Simon, our guide. He was well-versed in all topics and sites and history, an armchair philosopher who believes education to be the key to insure that history does not repeat itself. My husband and I WERE the only ones in our small group and we spent over ten hours visiting Sighisoara, Vistri, and the Rupea Fortress. Tiberiu placed us in photo perfect positions, took us to an interesting farm to table restaurant in a restored barn for lunch. We couldn't have asked for a better day and highly recommend others to try this experience.

This was the best trip we did during our time in Brasov. Our guide, Charlie, was exceptionally knowledgeable, made us feel very welcome, and was considerate of our needs through the day. The route we took was idyllic, and all the elements came together to form a really great day. Would wholeheartedly recommend - a real bargain!

An excellent day with Charlie visiting the castles. He’s extremely knowledgeable and a charming and funny guy. Too bad however, Rasnov is under refurbishment and we didn’t get to see much, but he did drive us to another beautiful German church fortress close by in a lovely town. Go with Charlie!

Incredible tour with affable guide Charlie (Karoly in his native tongue). Expert knowledge of the places visited combined with a razor wit & skilled navigation of the winding roads.
