About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 593evelinak0 contributionsEverything was greatEverything went as expected and Dan was an amazing guide! We would have preferred to have some more free time in Brasov but everything was as it was describedWritten 15 February 2025
- 446wayner0 contributionsAwesome tourWe thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Eugen was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide - speaking in fluent English and Italian. We enjoy long drives, just gazing out the window at the scenery, and this was perfect for us. Peles Castle was amazing inside, but was covered in scaffolding for renovations at the time we went. We have to say that the guy checking tickets at the entrance to the castle was very rude to my wife, thinking she had tried to sneak in, but there was no indication that he had any official capacity and everyone just piled in the door. That was the only thing we didn't like. Bran castle was interesting, but does play on the tenuous Dracula links. Access to both castles, in particular Bran, are up steep hills, so if you are disabled, this is probably not for you. Brasov was lovely once in the old part of town, and we had a lovely meal outside. To be honest, this tour was so affordable that I was doubting what the quality would be like, but it was FANTASTIC, and I'd recommend it.Written 13 February 2025

- RhiannonLeigh0 contributionsA great dayAn awesome time. Our guide Dan was fantastic. It was a jam packed day but lots of beautiful sights at the castles and the food we ate in Brasov was top tier.Written 9 February 2025
- danielvK8513WQ0 contributionsMeh. Take a bus to Brasov insteadIt was ok. Peles castle is completely covered in scaffolding, which they failed to mention, so nobody wanted to take pictures-big let down. Dracula’s castle was….a bit cheesy. The castle itself is not as impressive as Peles and the whole fake dracula dummies and set ups seemed from Halloween horror nights at Universal Studios in a cheap way. Brasov was incredible, charming, and by far the highlight. Wish i would have just picked a bus to Brasov. They also charged more for me to bring my carry on even though the huge tour bus had ample empty storage compartments below…then made a big deal about being a ‘passenger mover’ not a luggage mover. Every stop there was a huge list of rules. We all felt like kids. Again, wish i would have just taken a bus to Brasov.Written 4 February 2025
- joanwilliams10 contributionsNice Host....however, the visit was mehAlthough our driver was nice, I would not recommend this trip. It was a long drive, with lots of climbing. Tour operators should classify this as hiking.Written 22 January 2025
- TanyaS17160 contributionsA great ‘see it all’ in one day tour!Would highly recommend this tour for a whirlwind/see it all in one day trip to Transylvania. Our tour guide Vlad was amazing, so informative and great communication plus got us in and out and through the crowds very efficiently.Written 15 December 2024
- chelhooper770 contributionsBran, Peles, Brasov guided tourHad a lovely day , our guide Vlad was very informative and kept everything moving in good time . Peles Castle was beautiful ,though under some renovation which stopped us being able to see it in its entirety. Brasov is a pretty town . Bran Castle was disappointing after Peles , smaller than expected and very little to see , what there was to see is made difficult by the overcrowding of people , also more expensive than Peles . Overall a great day , though expect to be out longer than 12 hours due to heavy traffic . Vlad however was superb throughout .Written 13 December 2024
- N7420BBdavidp0 contributionsAn interesting day in TransylvaniaI booked this trip for a recent short break in Bucharest. I knew it would be an early start and a long day, but I wanted to see Transylvania. The landscape of Transylvania consists of valleys, snow-capped mountains and hairpin bends, and differs vastly from the flat environs of Bucharest. Peles Castle was closed that day, so could only be viewed from the outside, and was largely covered in scaffolding. Lunch was taken at the old town of Brasov, which was very picturesque and had several nice restaurants, and an amazing Christmas tree. Bran Castle was set in an impressive location, perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking a valley. It was OK, but quite crowded and a bit of a tourist trap. On the whole this was an enjoyable day, with Brasov the best part of it. A special thank you to our driver, Florin, for getting us there and back safely.Written 7 December 2024
- 306jeffreyf0 contributionsNo communication from tour operator.Despite several emails, no communication from the agency that handles this tour as to whether the palace would be open during a national holiday prompted us to cancel altogether. The last thing we wanted was to pay $400 for our group only later to be told the palace would be closed and only the gardens could be enjoyed. Tour operators should proactively inform people of any changes to itinerary. It wasn’t until I had asked our hotel front desk to call 4 times and confirm our suspicion that we eventually had no choice but to cancel. One day lost to go sightseeing on a short visit to Romania.Written 3 December 2024
- Setka60 contributionsEasy Peasy!Having only one full day in Bucharest, we wanted to see as much as we could; our tour guide/+personal driver, Vlad and Vlad, made sure we did just that. From pick up/drop off at our hotel, and having entry tickets into the attractions included in the tour, it made for a stress free and enjoyable outing. The Vlad’s helped us learn about the local history and culture. Don’t miss out on this tour!Written 3 December 2024
- ejbalog190 contributions10/10 recommendedVlad was an amazing tour guide! He was informative, helpful, funny, and kind. The team was also a very safe driver, would definitely recommend this company and tour. Thank you!!!Written 1 December 2024
- lukebZ1682EL0 contributionsIn name onlySo a few things, firstly this isn't Dracula's castle. When you go into it there is very little about Vlad the Impaler anywhere. Secondly you will be waiting in a long long line wherein other people will constantly cut in front of you as no one seems to do anything about it. Prepare to be disappointed and frustrated.Written 28 November 2024
- Jodie R0 contributionsOverall, pretty good experience. The experience within itself was great. Vlad had constant communication with us and gave us plenty of recommendations not just for this excursion but for our stay in Bucharest. Reading past reviews, we were worried about the time constraints but can honestly say, this was not an issue. Vlad made sure everyone was present before leaving and made sure everyone had what they needed. The experiences themselves were... Okay. Prepare to queue for peles castle (also confronted by other external rude tour guides who were pushing ahead in the line). Vlad tried to accommodate for this but this was out of his control. Climb to Brans castle, definitely not accessible. Please be careful if you have any medical needs. Additionally, when we went it was snowing and icy, resulting in lots of people falling over. Please wear suitable shoes. Overall, however, it was a great experience and Vlad was absolutely lovely. Recommend the company highly, just keep in mind about the activities themselves.Written 25 November 2024

Our guide Ana and driver Florin could not have done a better job of safely navigating and learning about the beautiful land, people, and features of Transylvania in the Romanian historical context.
Ana clearly knows and is adored by everyone at the sites - helping us quickly explore crowded castles. No time was wasted so we had plenty of time in the spots that mattered. She listened to our interests and nicely focused on those.
An unexpected bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed was the friendly banter between guide and driver. A glimpse of Romanian culture, while still giving us some quiet time along the way.

We took the private tour (2 people) and everything was fantastic! Adrian our guide provided a very professional and wonderful experience. Our pick up was on time and we driven in very clean van. The tour provided admission to the two castles with no waiting in lines and guided information along the way from Adrian. We also received a walking tour in Brasov. Snack and food suggestions were also given and did not disappoint. Time was also given to take photos and explore on our own. This is a must do for unforgettable memories!

We booked this trip through our hotel for approximately 85 euros. We met our guide Adrian at the Hilton in the old town and from the start he was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was 5 of us on the trip and he took the time to answer all our questions and give us plenty of free time when we needed it for photos and the toilet etc. I recommend having breakfast before you go/taking it with you and some water however there are plenty of opportunities for food and drinks. Adrian knows the best places for street food at Dracula’s castle and it was very well priced and so delicious. The trip is approximately 12 hours door to door but very worth it. So glad we saw these beautiful castles and the fabulous old town. 5* service as you get a bottle of water and magnets as a souvenir from the tour with this company. Thank you Adrian.

This was one of best tours we have done, Soreen our guide was brilliant, very informative we learned such a lot about Romania. Sorren was very polite and funny with his stories, he looked after us and made sure we had a day that we won't forget. Castles were amazing and the snow made it magical. Went to a very good restaurant for lunch food was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour.

Just completed the full day tour to Dracula’s castle, Pelisour Castle and one other stop (can’t recall the name at the moment) with Nico booked through Adriana. This tour group exceeded my expectations! I screwed up and booked the wrong day for the tour and with less than 24hours notice Adriana fixed it for me! The vehicle was lovely and in good repair. Nico was an absolute gentleman and very knowledgeable. He shared the history of the country and his experiences living through communism and the revolution. We set the pace and the conversation, and really enjoyed the day!

Theo was our guide and was brilliant, so interesting and informative but knew when to be quiet (a skill many guides don't have!). we started at 0715 to minimise the traffic and went to Peles Castle which was fabulous, from there we moved to Bran castle, the castle is less wow than Peles but well worth a visit and we enjoyed the market stalls at the base. From there we drove to Brasov where we had a great lunch and thoroughly enjoyed wondering around the city. I was soooo impressed with the architecture and people.

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Our tour guide and driver Alin is very knowledgeable and made our experience great! My husband and I went on this private tour at the end of July 2022.
We were able to see Peles Castle, Brasov, and Bran castle at our own pace and with plenty of free time to enjoy shopping and local cuisine. From the beautiful scenic drive through the Carpathian Mountains to the beautiful medieval town of Brasov, it was an amazing experience.
We definitely recommended this tour, and this tour company! Very professional and friendly!

Hi,
I will be in Romania for a short 2 days in September 2019 and I'm looking to make the most of my time there. Your tour looks amazing and I just wanted to know if there are opportunities to stop and take photo's of the amazing scenery along the way.
Thanks
Sharon
