About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- N7420BBdavidp0 contributionsAn interesting day in TransylvaniaI booked this trip for a recent short break in Bucharest. I knew it would be an early start and a long day, but I wanted to see Transylvania. The landscape of Transylvania consists of valleys, snow-capped mountains and hairpin bends, and differs vastly from the flat environs of Bucharest. Peles Castle was closed that day, so could only be viewed from the outside, and was largely covered in scaffolding. Lunch was taken at the old town of Brasov, which was very picturesque and had several nice restaurants, and an amazing Christmas tree. Bran Castle was set in an impressive location, perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking a valley. It was OK, but quite crowded and a bit of a tourist trap. On the whole this was an enjoyable day, with Brasov the best part of it. A special thank you to our driver, Florin, for getting us there and back safely.Written 7 December 2024
- 306jeffreyf0 contributionsNo communication from tour operator.Despite several emails, no communication from the agency that handles this tour as to whether the palace would be open during a national holiday prompted us to cancel altogether. The last thing we wanted was to pay $400 for our group only later to be told the palace would be closed and only the gardens could be enjoyed. Tour operators should proactively inform people of any changes to itinerary. It wasn’t until I had asked our hotel front desk to call 4 times and confirm our suspicion that we eventually had no choice but to cancel. One day lost to go sightseeing on a short visit to Romania.Written 3 December 2024

- lukebZ1682EL0 contributionsIn name onlySo a few things, firstly this isn't Dracula's castle. When you go into it there is very little about Vlad the Impaler anywhere. Secondly you will be waiting in a long long line wherein other people will constantly cut in front of you as no one seems to do anything about it. Prepare to be disappointed and frustrated.Written 28 November 2024
- Jodie R0 contributionsOverall, pretty good experience. The experience within itself was great. Vlad had constant communication with us and gave us plenty of recommendations not just for this excursion but for our stay in Bucharest. Reading past reviews, we were worried about the time constraints but can honestly say, this was not an issue. Vlad made sure everyone was present before leaving and made sure everyone had what they needed. The experiences themselves were... Okay. Prepare to queue for peles castle (also confronted by other external rude tour guides who were pushing ahead in the line). Vlad tried to accommodate for this but this was out of his control. Climb to Brans castle, definitely not accessible. Please be careful if you have any medical needs. Additionally, when we went it was snowing and icy, resulting in lots of people falling over. Please wear suitable shoes. Overall, however, it was a great experience and Vlad was absolutely lovely. Recommend the company highly, just keep in mind about the activities themselves.Written 25 November 2024
- B386YPgiuseppea0 contributionsGreat tripVeliko Tarnovo was amazing .. very beautiful town. Despite the rain and clouds, the view was great. Eating at Ego restaurant in town provided a great view of the river as per pics.Written 14 November 2024
- Luny L0 contributionsGood guided tourNice Guide. Fast paced, but you wouldn't manage to see everything, if not. Very timely. We had some free time to see the castle and the city on our own. Would recommendWritten 10 November 2024
- 210nickyw0 contributionsLong busy day!I’ve always wanted to go to Dracula’s castle so we booked this one so we saw everything. Be prepared. We wasn’t told to pack food etc. take drinks and food the bus is long! 2.5/3 hours. The queues to get Into the castles are 1.5/2 hours long. You will see groups of people pushing in using the excuse “ my friends are up here” “toilet up here” I’m not joking groups of 30/60 people it’s an absolute shamble. It’s like the castles can’t cope with the amount of Tourists. Also they want you to pre booked the castle tickets online before you get there. Half the bus got scammed by buying them on a dodgy website so listen to the tour guide to what website to get them from. Would I come back and Do this tour again? Absolutely not. Glad I’ve seen the castles yes but it was a really long day.Written 2 November 2024
- Explorer318829448870 contributionsAvoid this company!!Avoid!! Dreadful company…. Changed the booking from hotel collection to a meeting point over a mile away with less than 24 hour notice. No direct response from messages. Finally got response through email saying tough it’s outside your cancellation date so you won’t get a refund. Just disgraceful behaviour.Written 28 October 2024
- Matthew G0 contributionsDidn’t show up. Didn’t tell us . Didn’t care!Travelled all the way from the UK to Bucharest for a couple of nights to do the Peles/ Bran Castle tour. We waited at the pick up point for an hour and were constantly trying to call the emergency line to no avail. An hour later we weretold by another family that they’d cancelled the tour. Other coaches from the same company came and went but our names weren’t on the list so they wouldn’t let us on, despite showing our tickets. The following day one of the castles was closed. Completely ruined our trip which cost a lot to get to. Awaiting a refund for the trip but don’t expect to get a refund for our airfare.Written 27 October 2024
- medray0 contributionsFantastic tour, amazing sights, and exceptional guide & driver team! Our guide Ana and driver Florin could not have done a better job of safely navigating and learning about the beautiful land, people, and features of Transylvania in the Romanian historical context. Ana clearly knows and is adored by everyone at the sites - helping us quickly explore crowded castles. No time was wasted so we had plenty of time in the spots that mattered. She listened to our interests and nicely focused on those. An unexpected bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed was the friendly banter between guide and driver. A glimpse of Romanian culture, while still giving us some quiet time along the way.Written 27 October 2024
- michellesO6604TZ0 contributionsChaotic and stressfulI don’t normally do group trips and yesterday was a real reminder why- the comms was fine for the meet up but when you got there there were 100s of other people waiting and at least 5 coaches so the start was chaotic trying to find the right guide/bus It’s a long trip we spent 11 hours on the coach it’s too much to fit in one day you don’t do any site justice If you need to wee or eat regularly this trip is not for you! The first stop for comfort break about 2 hours in was at a small services which would have been fine but it seems all the other coaches stop too so 100s of people queuing for the loo and coffee and 20 minutes Peles castle is currently covered in scaffold so a bit disappointing for us ( but that’s just unlucky) we spent most of the stop queuing - almost an hour for people to go to the loo (as whole group stayed together here) before going into castle - then a long queue to get on castle and we were herded through in big groups - pretty castle but not pleasant experience way to crowded and there was 1 single toilet for women (same for men) so another queue on way out - there was no time to eat before getting on bus and it was by now 2pm and we had not eaten Bran castle was another 90 minutes drive - it closed at 4pm so we had a real rush to get there - we sorted our own tickets here so were able to get away from the group who we left queuing for toilets to race up the hill to join another massive queue to get into castle - again a pretty castle and I’m sure with lots of interesting facts but 100s people squished around together made a proper visit impossible - there are lots of shops and places to eat but we had 1 hour to get up and round the castle so just enough time to see castle and wee Last stop Braşov a pretty place but no time to see as we only had 1 hour and we needed to eat (now 6pm) My advice - book a personal trip pay the extra - if you go be prepared with water and food and book your own ticketsWritten 26 October 2024
- MirandaMetod0 contributionsDisappointing Experience with Dracula's Castle, Brașov, and Peles Full-Day Tour from BucharestMy friends and I had a deeply disappointing experience with this tour. We had booked the Dracula's Castle, Brașov, and Peles Full-Day Tour from Bucharest well in advance, but the tour was canceled without any prior notice. Three of us showed up at the meeting point on Monday morning, as scheduled, but when we called the guide, she told us that we had supposedly canceled the trip on Saturday. This was completely false — none of us canceled the trip, and we hadn’t received any cancellation notice or warning. There was also no indication from my bank that there was an issue with the payment. We were really frustrated and called the agency, hoping to resolve the situation. They simply told us to travel to the final station to see if any spots would open up, but once we arrived, everything was full. No alternatives or other options were offered. We were left extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and customer service. I wouldn’t recommend booking this tour based on our experience — the organization was poor, and we felt completely let down.Written 24 October 2024
- 219jacquelynf0 contributionsI Would Do It AgainI very much enjoyed the day trip to Bulgaria. The guide was very knowledgeable, and nice. The driver was excellent. The cave church was incredible, I had no idea it existed. I would do the trip again.Written 17 October 2024

The experience was really great. Dan, as a guide was wonderful. The way he narrated a lot of the history almost seemed like he was there. He had great knowledge, sense of humor and was with me all the way through. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Having only one full day in Bucharest, we wanted to see as much as we could; our tour guide/+personal driver, Vlad and Vlad, made sure we did just that. From pick up/drop off at our hotel, and having entry tickets into the attractions included in the tour, it made for a stress free and enjoyable outing. The Vlad’s helped us learn about the local history and culture. Don’t miss out on this tour!

As I only had a day and a half in Bucharest I opted for the 7-hour tour to maximise my sightseeing time. I was met at my hotel by Florin, who was very knowledgeable and who spoke excellent English. He drove me around the city, telling me lots about the various sights we were seeing, things I wouldn't necessarily have found in a guide book. The tour included the Palace of the Parliament, the Ceausescu house and the Village Museum (the entrance fees were included.) The beauty of this kind of tour is getting to see parts of Bucharest that would otherwise be passed by, and being able to stop the car and take photos if something takes your fancy. I thought the tour was good value for money and I'd definitely recommend it for solo travellers and couples.
