About the operator

- harryhN4998QY0 contributionsA great day out!We had a lovely day seeing lots of interesting different sites, tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, the mountains are beautiful in the winter timeWritten 14 January 2025
- Cornelia S0 contributionsA nice day out!The tour offers a comprehensive exploration of some of Romania's most intriguing sites. This 10-hour journey begins with a visit to the Slănic Prahova Salt Mine, renowned as one of the largest in Europe. Here, travelers can marvel at the vast underground chambers and learn about the mine's history and significance. Following the subterranean adventure, the tour proceeds to a delightful lunch at a local winery, where participants can savor traditional Romanian cuisine and sample regional wines. This gastronomic experience provides insight into the country's culinary traditions and viticulture. The day concludes with Snagov Monastery, famously associated with the legend of Dracula. Situated on an island, this monastery is reputed to be the burial site of Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure behind the Dracula myth. Visitors can explore the monastery's rich history and its connections to Romanian folklore. Overall, this tour combines natural wonders, historical intrigue, and cultural flavors, making it a well-rounded experience for those looking to delve deeper into Romania's heritage.Written 13 January 2025

- aej8220 contributionsFantastic TourTechnically this a review from our tour in June 2023. I’m using TripAdvisor for the first time in forever and realized I had never left a review! The tour was so amazing my memories of it are crystal clear. It was such a highlight! This was such an amazing tour and such a wonderful way to experience the history, culture, and food in the Bucharest area! The guide picked us up at the hotel and was excellent company for the whole trip. The winery was especially excellent, with truly extraordinary food. The foie gras we had here was better than the 3 Michelin star restaurants we have been to. Absolutely recommend!Written 10 January 2025
- Enache S0 contributionsA good mixIt was a good day, we visited the tomb of Vlad Tepes on Snagov Island, The royal family castle in Sinaia and Târgoviște the former capital of the country.Written 7 January 2025
- gabitul0 contributionsOnce in a lifetime experienceI arrived on 3 January 2025, the check-in was at 17.00. The staff was very useful, give all the information to have a great experience and to enjoy at full. The room was Johannes Brahms , very nice, and personalised. Sleeping was very comfortable and was warm. The hotel provided with warm sleeping bag. During the night outside was snowing full night and temperatures dropped to -15°C, but inside was very nice.Written 4 January 2025
- 216fn0 contributionsAmazing Private Tour of Bucharest with Cătălin! My husband and I just had an amazing time on a 4-hour private tour of Bucharest with Cătălin (2 hours by car and 2 hours walking through the Old Town), and we enjoyed every minute of it! We began our journey with a scenic drive around the city, stopping at several iconic landmarks. At each stop, Cătălin provided us with in-depth explanations of their historical significance, offering fascinating insights into Bucharest’s past. After the drive, we enjoyed a 2-hour walking tour of the Old Town, where Cătălin showed us some hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own. Cătălin is friendly and approachable, and you can tell he loves to share his deep knowledge of Romania and Bucharest. He made the whole experience enjoyable and informative. We highly recommend Cătălin to anyone visiting Bucharest!Written 4 January 2025

- GlamNik70 contributionsNot to be missed tour.We had an amazing day. It is long day but worth it. Bogdun was our guide and was fabulous. He was very considerate as we had regular stops en route to suit us. Bogdun shared history and information as we visited the different places. We were blessed with the weather and got to see so much snow it will leave lasting memories with us. Our lunch stop was a hotel at the top of a snow laden road. Great food. A must tour.Written 12 December 2024
- janewF9602GM0 contributionsDisappointed by Trip AdvisorI have bought multiple tickets online to ensure that I got my tickets for the day a time required during my travels, and I trusted Trip Advisor when I booked for my single ticket. However, neither the online booking agent (Trip Advisor) nor the actual location (Ceausescu Mansion) were fully forthcoming or available to assist with an honest purchase resulting in me having to purchase my ticket twice. Trip Advisor took my fully payment with only the instructions that with my booking number, I had to pick up the actual ticket at the point of entry which they listed as the Ceausescu Mansion. I have done this before with other booking agents, such as Versaille. However, when I arrived early at the Ceausescu Mansion with my booking number and emails from Trip Advisor, they did not recognize Trip Advisor nor my booking/purchase numbers. I will not go this route again. I feel robbed of my higher payment to Trip Advisor for which was lost. Fortunately, I still had an interesting tour of the mansion by paying for another ticket at the mansion at a much lower price.Written 4 November 2024
- 692ElaineM0 contributionsAmazing DayWe had an amazing day with our very knowledgeable and funny guide, Radu, travelling on the Transfagarason Road. Radu provided some information the evening before pick up which allowed us to see what the day ahead was going to look like. Radu picked us up right outside our hotel on schedule. Radu was welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions at any point. Radu allowed us to choose where we stopped to take photos but also gave us his best places to get great photos. We didn’t get to see any bears as they are now hibernating but Radu shared some insights to the bears and their way of life. We had the best day, but Radu made it extra special by taking us to a beautiful monastery where we also saw the Orthodox priest who welcomed us warmly and gave us a blessing. We are not religious but this gorgeous monastery allowed us to reflect and be grateful. The day was full of memories and Radu really went over and above for us, he even booked a reservation for the Palace of Parliament tour which online was sold out, but thanks to Radu, he knew Someone and managed to get us in on the English tour. What an amazing tour guide Radu is, we really lucked out. Thank you Radu.Written 1 November 2024
- Stephanie H0 contributionsPerfect combination of nature and historyMy family greatly enjoyed the tour and our tour guide Bogdan. He was very informative and helpful, definitely going beyond what is expected for a tour guide. The tour itself was the perfect combination of nature and history. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to know about the real Vlad Tepes.Written 31 October 2024
- Harry1907920 contributionsWalking through the clouds at the top of the mountainsSebastian our tour guide was wonderful. The vehicle was super comfortable. There were plenty of stops and the views were spectacular. We went in Autumn and to see the bright vivid colours of the trees while the sun was shining was truly magical. Balea lake especially was absolutely breathtaking. Walking through the clouds and seeing the mist over the lake and the Transfagarasan road. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any bears as most have been moved away or have gone into hibernation so i was a bit sad about that but otherwise the trip was a memory of a lifetime.Written 31 October 2024

I booked this tour without having too many expectations but I discovered a Romania full of beautiful places.
I was impressed by the history of Golesti Mansion and I liked the village museum there and animals in the yard.
We also visited Campulung which was the first capital of Wallachia and Târgoviște which was also the country's capiral.
We had a day full of history and understood much better the culture of the Roman people.
Thank you for the tour, I hope to participate again, in the future, on your tours.
