- milicad9440 contributionsGood fun and great peopleKalemegdan is one of those places that you just can't get enough of. I have visited it many times but Walking Belgrade was the first time experiencing it as a part of a group. I must say it was worth every dime. I had the chance to ask questions and the tour guide really dedicated their time to explain everything to us. The tour guide was very patient and allowed us to take as many stops for pictures. I am putting their other tours on my wishlist for sure!Written 21 November 2024
- 357lidijam0 contributionsAmazing BelgradeEverybody suggest you to visit Kalemegdan when in Belgrade- and for a good reason. You can see the entire New Belgrade part of the city. Everything around you seems to be worthy of an Instagram moment. The tour is organized well, whatever your pace is. I was so impressed that the next day my friends and I went back, got a blanket out and sat on the grass just enjoying the nice weather. Amazing guide, well deserved the 5 stars!Written 9 November 2024
- 312stevani0 contributionsRecommendations for this tour!Every now and then i tend to try out different types of tours, and this time it was a tour+ restaurant. This is a great tour with a lot of positive energy, for real foodies. The museum is quite an interesting place which had my full atention, that i didn't notice the crowd of people around me. The snack afterwards really is a nice touch and I enjoyed every bite of it.Written 8 November 2024
- Milena D0 contributionsYu go once, you'll want to go more timesGreat concept! Just the right balance between being informative and fun, all thanks to the lovely tour guides. Definitely something you will be telling your friends about months from now. You will be able to enjoy it regardless of your knowledge on Yugo topic. And yes-the food was spectacular! An interesting take on the Yugoslavia part of history while combining it with great snack afterwards. This visit should be repeated. 10/10 would recommend.Written 21 October 2024
- O3795OOmilam0 contributionsFood tasting tour - great experienceI engaged Walking Belgrade for a tour for my guests from abroad and I decided to join them as local. I have to say that I myself descovered some places I wasn't aware of, food tasting was delicous, tour guide has great knowledge of city itself as well as of historic facts. Everything was great, would recommend Wlaking Belgrade for other tours as wellWritten 1 October 2024
- Magaton0 contributionsFood for thoughtOn the "Eat Like Tito" tour, we enjoyed authentic dishes that gave us food for thought about controversial history related to Tito. The guide's enthusiasm and knowledge of history added depth to each bite, making the experience both educational and fun. Everything was well-organized, from the choice of place to the stories shared throughout, making this tour truly special!Written 27 September 2024

- milenadE1423AX0 contributionsSugar, spice and a lot of fun in BelgradeWalking along with Walking Belgrade is hands down the best decision on how to experience Belgrade. Great selection of places, memorable funfacts about the city and amazing food recommendations. The tour guides were briliant! The sights of this unique city while the music from a street artist playing the saxophone in the background will never leave my mind. Truly you Must see and must Walk Belgrade! 10/10 would recommendWritten 25 September 2024
- paulahC3473UV0 contributionsA treat on a sunny day in Belgrade! My friend and I learned about Walking Belgrade via Trip Advisor and booked the Food tasting tour. We were happy to spend some time, on a lovely, sunny day, in Belgrade, with our guide Xenia, tasting the local food at the farmers market and browsing one of the central, charming quarters of the city. The food was nicely selected, a treat for foodies, like us, always eager to discover new tastes and give local cuisine a try. We were full after the tour! The walk in the neighborhood of the market was pleasant and lots of fun. We would recommend it, anytime, as it was truly enjoyable!Written 25 September 2024
- ksenijak20190 contributionsGreat finds! fashion and accessories in BelgradeWe were somewhat skeptical when booking as we wondered if Belgrade is a place to look for fashion at all?! What a catch!! We got cool stuff and saw the places we couldn't have found on our own. Ksenija totally got us, she understood what we wanted. Plus, introduced us to some of the designers. Thanks, Kseni, I love my new leather bag Made in Belgrade!Written 25 September 2024

I was planning of going to Museum of contemporary art for some time so when I saw that this ture included it, i booked it immediately. This museum is a MUST! It's really special when you get to hear some interesting facts about the buildings you see every day, but when I really thought about it, I realised I did not know their story. I still think about the fun facts i heard from the tour guide and it makes me want to get lost on purpose in New Belgrade. Wholeheartedly recommend.

This tour proves why New Belgrade is not to be missed when staying in Belgrade! I have been fascinated with buildings ever since I was a kid (especially the famous "Televizorka" in 28th Blok) and before going on this tour I was unaware of the stories behind New Belgrade architecture. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and answered all of my many questions. Tip: It gets windy by the river so be aware, but regardless- highly recommend this tour!

I am a local, but still decided to take this lecture as I am interested in Brutalism and we never get to really learn about the great architecture that's all around us and in our own city.
The guide is very knowledgeable on the subject, the lecture is dynamic and highly informative. I'd highly recommend this one to us locals as well.

An excellent tour that provides a great insight into the city's relatively recent history. A completely new and refreshing perspective on things. It was a fantastic experience, the guide was pleasant, eloquent, and kept our attention. I recommend it to locals too, as much information was not widely known to the audience.

I chose this tour to show a little bit of Belgrade to my foreign friends another side of this large city, apart from the city centre. I am from Serbia but I am not from Belgrade so this was a new experience for me as well. I was thrilled to be a part of this fun group and my Slovenian friend complemented me on what a great choice it was to try this tour. Try it out when you get the chance!

I recently joined the Architecture of New Belgrade: Brutalism Decoded tour, and it was a fantastic experience! Ksenija, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, offering great insights into the history and significance of the Brutalist buildings. The tour was well-paced, covering fascinating landmarks I wouldn’t have discovered on my own.
If you’re interested in architecture or history, this tour is a must-do for a deeper appreciation of Belgrade's modernist side!

Wow! Loved it! My boyfriend surprised me with this tour for my birthday. Lovely way to soend a few hours on a sunny day. Personally, I am a big fan of walks and I could continue if this tour lasted for 1-2 hours more. I found it to be very insightfull and original.

Myself being a Belgrade native, I thought I knew this city all too well. Realising I did not in fact know these parts of New Belgrade, I felt curious and so I decided to book this tour. The tour exceeded my expectations and made me want to walk around New Belgrade more often. This is great both for tourist and us, fellow Belgradians. Time well spent.

Typically I am not a fan of the more recent approaches in architecture - however, I have always been drawn towards New Belgrade block and I just wanted to know more. The tour guides came up with a great concept here and were very interesting to listen to. Walk aside Danube is simply perfect. My personal favourite is the Genex tower - hope it will be reconstructed and kept well. Please take your time to visit New Belgrade and I hope my take will inspire you.
