It was a great experience, thanks to the exceptional execution by our guide. Rafael arrived ahead of time and picked us up from the hotel in Panama City. The transfer to the river, where we got into small boats, was nice and comfy. Rafael was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of background information, allowing us to better understand the history of Panama and Embera people. The ride down the river with stop by the waterfall and the time in Embera village were truly magical. We were looked after at all times, and the transfer back to the hotel was same easy. Overall, the tour was great. If you have a chance, ask for Rafael to be your guide !

Amazing day in Panama. Rafael, who did the tour himself was great! Quick turnaround during planning, very friendly, speaks brilliant English. I would like to mention that I travelled as a woman on my own and felt absolutely well taken care of and 100% safe. The day was perfectly tailored to my expectations (spotting sloths ;-) and and the end I was even invited for a drink in the historic City Center. Thanks Rafael, I will definetely visit Panama soon, but for more than a day.

Absolutely GREAT trip! It was the experience of a lifetime for all of us. We will always have great memories from this trip. The canoe ride on the river through jungle was nothing short of spectacular. Make sure you tell them to take you swimming at the waterfall!!

This tour had 2 highlights - the Panama Canal and Raphael. (1) Watching a massive 300 meter car carrier ship make its way through the Panama Canal was memorable. (2) Raphael’s humor and storytelling was a special treat. We only had 4 hours and, thanks to Raphael and our wonderful driver, we made the most of it.

Beautiful tour visiting Embera village puru biakiru with a boat ride. Our guide Saul was very nice and explained about the history of the indigenous tribes in Pamana and Columbia. He was very thoughtful and knew the answer to every question we had. We strongly reccomend taking this tour!

This experience is a must , the canoe trip on the lake and river is peaceful and relaxing . You see birds and smaller waterfalls on the way. The native tribe we visited was so nice, the food was delicious and you also get to really see and understand their life. The walk to the big waterfall is mildly physical. Our tour guide Saul was the best nice and very knowledgeable

This was the most amazing cultural experience that my family and I got to do during our trip across Central America. Our tour operator and driver Raphael was very friendly, funny, and informative. The tour was well organized, the boat ride to the Embera community was scenic, and the tribe was very welcoming. Highly recommended this tour with this tour operator. We truly enjoyed our experience.

Out of all my experiences in Panama. This was by far my favorite one. And I give credit to the tour guide Rafael. He did an amazing job explaining the beautiful culture of the embera tribe. The hiking was a bit difficult and he was very attentive and helpful. So were the indigenous people, if you fell they were there to catch you! The boat ride and seeing the rainforest was such an amazing experience. The locals of the embera tribe were awesome they did a performance that I really enjoyed.

Rafael was a marvelous tour guide. He spoke clear English, was courteous, professional, and made this such a exceptional experience. He provided the guide of information about the land, embera people, showed us the wildlife as we passed by in the boat which by the way was handcrafted by the embera people. The lunch of fish and fried green plantains was out of this world delicious, along with the succulent fruits. Cold bottled water was provided. The water was too low for us to take a swim by the waterfalls, but they plan to resume by December. I would highly recommend this tour and the price is so much lower than similar tours providing the same experience.

Visiting the Embera native village in the rainforest of Panama was an extraordinary experience that deeply moved me. Seeing the culture of the Embera people was both enlightening and humbling. The warmth and hospitality they extended to was nothing short of amazing.

Edwing was a fantastic guide! I did the half day layover tour as a solo woman. I got to hit all the things I was hoping to see. He even timed it so that it was likely I'd see a shipping container for through the canal. He was incredibly knowledgeable and cared about me enjoying many things Panama City provides! I would definitely book with Edwing again.
