I came to Panama City for a school trip with my university. Richard George was our tour guide and he was incredibly accommodating and a joy to have as a guide. He had an excellent English vocabulary but also was a great translator for those of us who don’t speak Spanish. He was always ready to answer our difficult questions, he showed us around Panama from the Pacific to the Atlantic and never let a dull moment pass. He was very kind and even bought us snow cones at one point. I am incredibly grateful to have had Richard as a tour guide and I hope to use his services again in Panama City!

Fantastic tour of the Monkey island and Gamboa, with sloth sanctuary and hike in the NP . Richard did a great job and even took us to Amador causeway, dropped off at Miraflores and came back after program there to take us to our hotel . Very productive, informative and professional!

We visited the Emberá Drua community in June 2023. Richard picked us up and drove us up into the Chagres National Park where we got into dugout canoes. We zoomed up the river with our 3 Emberá guides and Richard. Our first stop was to hike into the jungle to a waterfall. We swam and thoroughly enjoyed the cool water and the amazing flora! Later we continued up the river to the Emberá village. There we were met by young men playing music on the beach. Each and everyone greeted us and welcomed us to their village. We spent the duration of the afternoon learning about the Emberá culture and handicrafts. We ate a beautifully prepared and delicious meal of fresh river tilapia, patacones and fresh fruit. The villagers performed dances for us and invited us to join in. On our return trip down the river we saw many birds, especially king fishers, and butterflies. We even heard some howler monkeys. Richard provided us with an amazing and memorable experience. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the Canal and Panama, as well as of the Emberá indigenous peoples. All around a wonderful experience!

Richard took us to the pier on the Chagres River. We got in a dugout canoe and were toted up the river by an Embera Captain and 2 others. They took us up the river to the waterfall where we swam and then back to their community to learn about these indigenous peoples. They danced, played music and painted our wrists and arms - whatever you want. We ate the most beautiful lunch and shopped all their handmade crafts. We heard monkeys, saw many different birds and butterflies on our lovely ride down the river. What a great day! Richard was the best guide in that he made our access so easy, safe and complete. It was a great adventure!

Richard of Lift-Intl is a wealth of historical knowledge and acted as an excellent tour guide for my group of 6. He provided safe transportation to and from our excursion tour of monkey island and the waterfall while providing wonderful historic facts of Panama from the 1500s until present day. Richard also acted as a translator for our group for extra stops at our request. I was blown away with the service we received and I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone traveling in Panama.

My wife and I had a great time touring with Richard at the Casco walking tour, Gamboa Rain Forest and Ancon Hill in Panama. Richard was very friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. The goal was to see a sloth at the rain forest and Richard came through! We highly recommend him!

We did 2 separate tours with Rich. We started our trip with the Monkey Island Tour which was awesome! Got to feed monkeys straight from our hands from our boat. It was such a fun experience. We also ended our trip with a tour with Rich exploring Gamboa and Soberania National forest. We saw sloth in the Gamboa sanctuary as well as in the wild! We were so lucky to catch a sloth feeding during our hike. We even caught him on video feeding from a high branch that broke! Luckily the little guy was completely fine and didn’t even stop eating during and after his fall. We had such a wonderful time and a lot of it had to do with having Rich as a guide. He his super knowledgeable and patient. We definitely recommend him for anyone looking for some fun laid back adventure!

Richard was a very knowledgeable guide and did a fantastic job at giving us a an experience of the rich history of this amazing city. There was a fair amount of walking at a comfortable pace, but no one even seemed to notice because there was so much to see and hear about. When we finished, Richard recommended a restaurant for us to have lunch. It was the best meal we had the entire month we were in Panama. I can highly recommend hiring Richard to enhance your experience as you visit Panama.

Yesterday 4/13/2022 we went on this amazing experience, we had the best time ever, the horse ride was so fun and easy and comfortable, the guides were also the BEST, they both were extremely friendly and outgoing and very knowledgeable. They answered any questions we had and it’s definitely a plus that they speak English and Spanish PERFECT, my group had 4 of us, 2 who only spoke English 1 who only spoke Spanish and myself who knew both, so to hear them not leave anyone out and speak both English and then Spanish meant a lot to us. The horse ride down to the waterfall was a beautiful scenery and omg the waterfalls were the best, they let us swim for a little and took a lot of pictures for us too, then we headed back up to the ranch to eat lunch, and let me just say the food was AMAZING, definitely authentic Panamanian food and tasted delicious. The drive to and from the ranch was also fun because it’s all a 4x4 experience, it was bumpy but they still made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I’d definitely recommend this experience to everyone it’s something you don’t want to miss out on it’s a once in a life time experience. Thank you again to the both of you for bringing us on this adventure and we look forward to going again in the future.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Alex as our tour guide! He is very friendly, knowledgeable, charismatic and engaging. He took us through some of the most interesting parts of Casco Viejo and at the end, we ended up booking yet another tour with him. The next day he took us to the canal, we stopped to check out a sloth, and then headed to see the monkeys at Monkey Islands. It was a wonderful day! I can’t recommend Alex enough! He went above and beyond to make our experience authentic all while catering to what we needed. Thank you Alex! We hope to see you again in the future!

Alex was great, he picked me up at my hotel at 6:30am and took me to a local coffee shop. From there we drove an hour to catch a boat out to monkey island. It was just he and I on the boat which was awesome because all the other boats were packed. From there he offered to show me the Panama Canal but I didn’t have an interest so he drove me back to Casco and gave me a walking tour and showed me a great place to grab a bite to eat. Incredibly friendly and willing to go the extra miles. Literally!
