So I booked this tour in advance via trip advisor and was a bit skeptical about getting there and finding other tours for cheaper etc. But in this case the value for money was amazing and do not regret it one bit.
The tour guide was great, always very informative telling us where we were going and what we were doing (believe me in Croatia that’s not normal with other extrusions we’ve had).
He was very realistic about the park, the trip, changing the order of things so we’d get to the park earlier so there’d be less people.

I know a lot of other companies do the same tour but I would recommend this one 100% as we’ve had a great experience.

Wine tasting was a plus and made the experience a lot more special. Nothing to complain about the company, thanks for everything.

The only reason this is not a 5 star trip is because of the park itself (I know I am reviewing this tour but I just couldn’t not include my personal view). We visited Krka after being to the Plitvice lakes and we expected so much more (maybe our fault). The park was MUCH smaller than Plitvice. You can probably go around the main area in 30min.
The park was so much more commercial and full of people. Also, being able to enter the pool by the waterfall should have been a pleasant experience but there are so many people that you don’t get to enjoy it and also the park and the water seem “dirty” with so many people in it.

If you have to pick between those two parks I’d 100% recommend Plitvice.

However, try going with Pelican tours because I loved the service.
Thanks for everything :)

We were greeted at 8am prompt by our tour guide who was very welcoming and approachable. He made the natural awkward atmosphere between different groups and individuals alleviate immediately. He briefly explained to us what the plan would be as we boarded the bus to Šibenik. Šibenik is a beautiful city somewhat similar to the architecture to Split Old Town but quieter and more charming. The cobbled, narrow streets are majestic and Tonko (our tour guide) gave us a full brief on the history and culture of the city and then let us go do our own thing which was a brilliant way of doing it. Tonko didn’t overwhelm us with information or expect us to follow his every beck and call which was very welcoming.

Tonko then picked us up and drove us to Krka National Park and gave us another lesson of the park and took us a walking tour to the waterfalls about a 20 minute walk from the beginning of the path. He again left us to do our own thing and explained where to go where he would pick us up at our designated time.

All our group boarded the ferry which took us to the next town and we were met by Tonko. He then took us to a small village about 20 minutes away where we had wine and cheese tasting in a beautiful, picturesque venue which was idyllic and the icing on the cake.

Overall, the tour is informative, interesting and liberating in the sense that you’re not limited/confined to the wishes of the tour guide. Tonko provides all the information required then gives you a perfect amount of free time to your own thing. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone spending a few days in Split.

Tonko provided a great tour to see the Krka national park! Stoping in Sibenik was a treat, and one that we likely would not have gotten otherwise. Tonko provided great historical information and context at the stops on the tour, offered many laughs, and has artfully curated an experience that balances free time and independent exploration with the structure a tour provides. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese tasting. It was a great opportunity to meet and get to know our fellow travelers more, something we missed in other tour experiences. Would definitely recommend!

The guide was knowledgeable, however the actual experience was extremely boring and underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Sibenik is dull, basically just a church, Krka waterfalls is a walk through a lifeless bare forest with the waterfalls at the end which are fine but not worth the effort, you then wait around for ages and get a boat to an old town, however you spend no time in it and just walk 30 seconds to the bus. The wine tasting is the usual tourist trap, with the wine itself not being good.

This was a great trip and I highly recommend this tour. I give it 10 stars out of 5. The best experience! Firstly, the location of Krka waterfalls made this a beautiful trip and an out of the world experience. The scenery and surroundings were amazing and to die for! Visiting Krka waterfalls is a must visit when in Croatia. It is an enchanting place that is a rare find. I also loved the trip to Sibenik, a cosy little town. Tonko took me to an eco wine shop and the host served me the freshest bread, cheese with some amazing wines. Both of them entertained me, made me smile and ensured I had an enjoyable wine tasting experience. I'll always be thankful for that and how they made me feel safe as a solo female traveler.

What made this trip even more enjoyable is the tour guide, Tonko. Kudos to his professionalism and dedication to his craft and work. I booked this tour in mid April hoping they are still running some tours in Croatia. Later I realized that almost all tour offices have been shut down temporarily or permanently due to the pandemic affecting tourism and businesses. I also secretly expected that I would receive a cancellation e-mail sometime before the tour, however to my surprise, Tonko went ahead with my trip. Guess what! I was the only one on the tour and he still obliged my booking and did the entire tour for me. That is an exceptional level of professionalism! Tonko is still operating and is accepting guests. If you're looking for a quality experience and exceptional day trip from split, definitely choose this tour. If you're ready to travel, then be brave and come experience Croatia, especially Split and this tour experience as well. You won't be disappointed for sure. I seriously have been admiring this professionalism and his dedication to his craft and business and how he's staying strong and remaining positive despite the pandemic. With his focus and passion, Tonko and his company will go to great heights.

Really enjoyable day. I'm still on the bus back to split on the tour. Nina was excellent really funny and engaging, but also gave time so we could wander ourselves and have a look around at each stop.
The whole tour is stunning and I recommend it if you're in the area. Thank you guys

We had an amazing day on the Krka Waterfalls tour. Tonko was a great host and was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what he was telling us. The tour had a perfect balance of guided tour and free time. The city of Sibenik was a lovely extra excursion included in the tour and the wine tasting was a perfect end to a perfect day. Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Split.

This day trip has been a tremendous experience including interesting historical facts, plenty of free time and a nice walk in the krka national park. Furthermore, this day ends wonderfully with the wine and cheese tasting in a really cute place, with largely enough food to be full up. You can also take the time to discuss with other people of the group which is very pleasant with some wine and food. The guide has been really nice, funny and helpful, many thanks to him.
However, if you are willing to choose this tour (which I advised), please take in account that the entry ticket is not included in the offer. It will cost cost you 150 kz/person (60kz for student) in addition to the trip cost.

We had a wonderful trip hosted by Tonko to the Krkra waterfalls and wine tasting. The day was a perfect balans between free time and tour time, we explored the city Sibenik and national park and enjoyed the wine (cheese bread and very good olive oil was included). Totally worth the money! Would highly recommend it; we were with 13 girls and this day was one of the highlights of our stay in Split!

Brilliant day trip to Sibenik, Krka waterfalls and Skradin. The trip was ended beautifully with a wine tasting experience in the Croatian countryside, with the most gorgeous Croatian wine and food to accompany it. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and explained the history of everything we visited. Definitely recommend if you are in Split! Pelican Tours was the best day tour we found after searching around a few other tour companies.
