About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- CarolineC25010 contributionsTime to be on our ownI was uneasy about booking this tour because I heard that there would be up to 50 people on it and was worried about a crowd. The large amount of people was not a problem at all. Mia was our tour guide, gave us very specific instructions and left us on our own. We were connected to Mia through what’sApp. We had a great day visiting the park, taking the boat to the town of Skradin, and even having time to go to the beach. Thanks to Mia who provided a wonderful atmosphere for a great day!Written 31 August 2024
- alejandrooZ7935JA0 contributionsGreat experience with Lorena! It was such a nice tour! Thanks for everything Lorena! Loved that you speak Spanish!! Greetings from the Mexican familyWritten 26 August 2023
- sherrylE2226LB0 contributionsKrka TourWe had Mia as a travel guide and did a guided tour with her a Krka. She was organized, knowledgeable and friendly. She started a WhatsApp group with everyone on the tour which was a great idea to keep everyone informed. She led with charge and away from the crowds! Highly recommend this tour with Mia. For travellers, you can no longer swim at the national park and only have a bit of time if you wanted to after you take the boat to Skradin. Therefore, the national park was more of a walk and swimming is minimal. Overall, it was a beautiful tour and would recommend it.Written 17 August 2023
- RichardM-www0 contributionsGreat day outWe really enjoyed our day at the Krka falls. Our guide Lorena was engaging and dynamic and made the day a lot of fun. The falls themselves are beautiful, although as we were peak season there were a lot of other tourists there.Written 13 August 2023

- P4938MRlucy0 contributionsLovely time!We had a lovely day. Tour guide Mia was fab. Just the right amount of guidance. We were allowed to follow along with Mia for a guided tour or go off solo or anything inbetween, a great medium. Mia was great at letting us know what was happening and when. I’ve been on previous tour days and not had a clue what was going on😂 The breakfast was ok. I would recommend an omelette for the best value for money. The coffee and OJ was good. Waterfalls were crowded but a bit of patience and photos and clear viewing is possible. The only thing was waiting for the boat to leave the falls. It was far too busy for the amount of boats. People in their 80s and babies waiting for over 30 minutes in 33 degree heat with not always shade available. Think this is the national parks problem and needs a bit of logistical tweaking… The free time in Skradin was fab. Nice couple of hours exploring and swimming. Thoroughly enjoyed:)Written 12 July 2023

- shalini220 contributionsWaste of timeFall is ok but the tour guide was talketive and les informative this tour is not more then half day but we left at 9 and back at 7 grey line added some other tour also so the guide took those people of other tour and left us in that town for an hour and wasted our time. Useless with grey line I would recommend half day tour and direct to krka falls. U can't spend there more then 2 hrs.Written 16 September 2019
- Shelly B0 contributionsDon't waste your timeWe were extremely disappointed with this trip. We paid about GBP85 each and that was basically just for the bus from Split to the waterfalls and back. It didn't include entrance into the park or anything else. It seems like a bit of a scam to be honest. There was no AC on the bus and the guide told us that if we got back to the bus at 3:45pm (rather than 4pm) we would miss all of the traffic leaving the park so everyone on our bus made sure they were there at 3:45 and the bus didn't turn up until 4:10pm it was a joke. Also, I'd advise NOT to go to Krka in August, I have never seen so many people in one place, it was quite disturbing. The nature itself if stunning but totally spoiled by so many people, go here at a quieter time of the year.Written 1 September 2019
- busybee27750 contributionsCrowdedUnless you like hiking and spending an inordinate amount of time in that park, don’t do the tour. Take a public bus and do your own thing. I think only reason to take a tour as you get a discount to the entrance ticket but not worth it. It is a crowded tour and even more of a crowded park. Swimming in the falls while super cool is also rather perilous and not for young kids. Otherwise, on a hot day, hiking is cumbersome and boat ride was just so-so. I don’t know why it was called a guided tour as there was zero guidance apart from logistics. The park is pretty but I think I would have done something else had I known the rest.Written 29 June 2019
- Nchgh0 contributionsGreat day tourAs we were staying in Split, we choose Krka Tours agency. Park itself is stunning and waterfalls are magnificent. Krka Tours staff were more than helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and tour in general was fantastic experience. Definitely recommend if you are in that area :)Written 23 April 2019
- EliotGB0 contributionsFalse Marketing: Website information not trueWe feel like the marketing information (what you say that they sell on their website) was not what we experienced. We were not offered a bus with air condition and wi-fi, which is on the website and on the ticket design in the e-mail confirmation. Instead we sat in an old van. There was no guide at all, we were just told to walk around ourselves for a few hours. Not even an information paper or anything. The website claims we would get a wristband and a postcard, we did not. Changes to the schedule and meet-ups were communicated poorly and on e-mail. Basically, we paid for a trip there and back, which we could have saved 100 kuna per person by taking a bus with AC by the port instead. People get the impression they will get a guide tour (your name is Krka Tours) and an experience, that’s why we chose you. They won’t.Written 9 April 2019

Mia was our tour guide and she was fantastic, her English was superb and the tour was well organised. We chose to follow Mia for the village tour where she gave us some history about Krka. We were able to take the National Park at our own pace and had plenty of time free time after the village tour to explore. After catching the ferry to Skradin we walked to the fortress and wandered the few market stalls before heading to the beach for a swim and a quick lay in the sun before meeting Mia to board the bus. We would recommend Krka Tours as we found it was good value for money and we enjoyed the trip.

We had a really good experience with this trip, definitely a 5 star experience. There was a little problem with the online payment, but this problem was solved very quickly. We called in the morning of the trip and they answered immediately. Krka and Skradin where amazing, but our tour guide Mia made the experience even better. Would recommend!

We booked in with Krka Tours online the evening before the trip. We received a meeting point which was easy to find and we paid for the trip that morning (we didn't have to pay online in advance). There is a separate fee for entry to the park that you also have to pay, this is made clear multiple times so no surprises! The tour guide spoke English and meeting times/location was made very clear too which was great. Great day out, would defo recommend.

Overall, a good day out, however there were a few issues. First, it was not made clear from the confirmation email that you need to bring extra money on top of the tour cost for entry to the national park (at the bottom of the website it says "Entrance ticket to the National Park is NOT included in the price. You are paying entrance to us, and we are going to buy tickets in your name") but this makes out the cost is covered in the money you give them for the tour, which it isn't.
Luckily we had enough between us to pay but it would have been good for the company to clearly communicate this from the outset (maybe putting it in their list of things to bring)!
The tour minibus is air-conditioned, but very cramped at the back so for this reason I wouldn't recommend it for people who are claustrophobic, or for tall individuals. Also, at one point cold water was dripping through the aircon and light system which was pretty dangerous but the driver didn't seem very concerned when my partner told him.
Finally I was expecting our guide to tell us more about what we were seeing on the way there, and while we were at Krka, but he literally walked us to the drop off point, told us what was in the area and where we needed to go, and let us know where he'd meet us at the end of the day. Couldn't really call it guiding.
Overall, it was fine, definitely cheap and I liked that it started at 10am but I think there are probably better, and certainly more comfortable Krka excursions out there.

Booked on last minute (night before) and can’t fault the process!! From the confirmation email to the bus back, everything was communicated clearly.
Our guide, Mia, was incredible! On the bus there she gave us clear instructions on how the morning would run and then set up a WhatsApp group so we could all receive the same information. These messages included images so you constantly knew where to go and where to meet.
Krka itself is beautiful and the day was made easier and more relaxing booking through Krka Tours.

Krka tours were very well organised and tour guide, Martin was excellent- welcoming, organised and kept everything running smoothly. The waterfalls were fab and the boat ride to Skradin was lovely too. Just enough time without feeling like we were hanging about. We spent time on the beach at Skradin which was also great.

The trip is well organized, tour guide explained a lot, depending of your own interest. Waterfalls are always beautiful to watch. It is comfortable to step in the van and go! Our tour guide was an excellent driver.
It was still busy during the tour in the park, I am glad I did not go in summertime when it can be over 40 degrees celsius and long queue.

Decent. The only good thing about this was the starting time. Guided tour it was not in any way, and no meantion of extra money you needed to bring in addition to entrance fee to the park. Fairly dissapointed, sure there are better trips within the same price range.

We were met in central Split and all instructions were extremely clear. Our enthusiastic guide, Mia, pointed out a fortress en route, and explained the map on site once we'd arrived at Krka National Park. The walkways were easy to navigate and the landscape was pretty, with wooden bridges crossing the river at regular intervals and plenty of fish, ducks, birds and insects to look at. The waterfalls could be viewed from several points along the way, the clearest and closest being from a long bridge at the finish.
The only thing that detracted from the experience was the sheer number of visitors, which made it difficult to view the falls at the pinch points, with people posing and lingering over numerous photographs in order to presumably create an image they deemed worth posting on social media.
We then took a boat to Skradin, where we bought fresh smoothies and found a beach where our kids swam in the cold water.
Overall, a fun day out, with a particular shout out to Mia, who was an excellent tour guide, who enabled things to run smoothly.

Don’t leave Split without a visit to Krka National park. The scenery with the mountains and waterfalls is extremely beautiful. We travelled on a full coach and travelled directly to the park. Our guide was friendly and let us know where to meet with times etc. The letdown to the trip was to be told to meet at 1.15pm to catch the boat only for our large group not to be allowed to go on due to the amount of people already waiting in front of us. This meant that we had to wait another hour until 2.30. This then limited our time in the afternoon for swimming/exploring. Overall a decent trip with some room for improvement.
