Great day visiting Montenegro with an excellent tour guide!
We had a really nice day visiting Perast, Kotor and Budva. You don’t have enough time in any of the locations, but that can’t be helped. It is a 12 hour day already. The border crossing was relatively easy as we were all vaccinated, otherwise you have to have a Covid test. Dana (sp) was an excellent driver and tour guide!

Great Tour!

We went in the off season. Crossing the border was a matter of minutes. Or guide, Ivan, was excellent and very knowledgable.

The boats in Perast were not running in December, but it was still a cute town. We had a great time exploring the somewhat tumbledown fort in Kotor, and would have been happy spending a whole day there. Budvah was nice too.

Highly recommend.

Lovely Trip to the Beautiful Kotor of Montenegro

We had a private tour and it was a splendid tour. The journey from Dubrovnik to Kotor was interesting and beautiful scenery along the way. My family loved the tour because we were able to spend a lovely time to have some coffee breaks at the Bay of Kotor and a good seafood lunch in Budva.

This tour company stinks
I believe the subject says it’s all. But you probably want specifics.

1. Pickup at 0700 but didn’t start tour until 0930. Dropped off at 0800 at random bus stop in sun and waited 30 minutes for bus. Then we waited another 30 min for more people (who had breakfast 🥞 Unlike me)

Then another stop to pick up two people (who had breakfast unlike me) at 0930. Then tour starts.

Tour was in English and then I guess they decided we all needed Spanish lessons so we get bilingual tour. Okay.. a bit annoying.

Very bad start to tour and good luck contacting the company. All the numbers I had were not in service or they did not answer.

Booked tour through Viator who sub contracts to smaller agencies.

Do not take this tour. Waste of time.

The one circle is obligatory , as I would give this tour a minus. I’m actually on the tour. Ow, that’s how lame it is.

Our guide/driver picked us up at 7:30 (best time to be one step ahead of the big buses) on a brand new Mercedes van. The drive was super interesting not only because of the amazing views but for many historic facts and anecdotes shared by Drazen, who made our day in Montenegro an unforgettable one. Cross the border, wander and get lost on Kotor streets, visit the beautiful Lady of the Rock chapel, visit old town in Budva ... stress free!, at your own pace; Drazen took care of everything and most of all, of us!!! Best choice for a day trip to Kotor bay.

Montenegro from Dubrovnik
We took this excellent tour with Iva last week. She has only been on the job for two weeks but was well-informed and enthusiastic. It was a good day with beautiful scenery and well worth the time and cost.

Don't miss the hike!
You will remember the amazing view on top of fortress "spainiola".. around 1350 steps on your way.. took us around 90 mins upwards and 45 downwards.. it will consume your energy but worth it..
after the hike went to have lunch in beach restaurant close to old town on the walk.. must do!

Terrible Experience, Lovely Towns and Scenery

The tour is advertised to start at 8 am. However, our group of 4 was told to meet the driver and van at 6:50 am. Our "driver/guide" was a college student who was totally unprepared to guide (no complaints about the driving). He had very little knowledge to share. (He told us that he had been working about 20 straight days.) Not until about 45-50 minutes into the drive (when we reached Montenegro) did he start to speak. And then he could not be heard by some of us in the van although we repeatedly asked him to speak louder. After a while, we just gave up. He dropped us off in the three towns and we were on our own (a local guide was provided in Kotor though for a very short stroll through the down). Budva, where we had lunch (driver directed us to a particular restaurant), was a waste of time; we spent at least 2 hours there including lunch time. Perhaps with another guide this tour, which cost $175/person, would be worth it.

Spectacular day in Montenegro!

Spectacular day in Montenegro! We enjoyed a wonderful day seeing the beautiful sights of Montenegro with our excellent driver Vladimir. He was extremely knowledgeable on all historical facts, sights and a great conversationalist. By the end of the trip he felt like family. Montenegro was amazing and we were so happy to see a new country. Vladimir offered to take pictures throughout the trip and stopped at several unplanned spots just for photos.The black BMW van was also very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a fantastic day!

An Unforgettable VIP Experience

First off, shout out to Mateo for a day I’ll never forget. He custom tailored our day around Croatia to suit my requests. His service was so exemplary, that people who saw us thought I was a celebrity. Despite all this, the best thing about this trip were the great conversations we had. We talked about the world, current events, our lives, and the history of the region. We became great friends and shared plenty of laughs as were explored Montenegro together. I will definitely come back and bring my parents next time to do more exploring with him and Super Tours! Forget waiting in long lines at the border, giant bus groups, and obnoxious delays. This is the best private day trip to Montenegro around, and great for photography opportunities as well!
