We had a small group unlike other companies who had 20-30 kayaks together. Stojan was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable and friendly. This earlier departure also gave us a chance to reach caves without anyone else. Highly recommend this excursion and this company.Written 1 September 2024

We had the best day with Darko as our tour guide! We kayaked around the beautiful island of Lokrum with plenty of stops on the way where Darko explained the history of the island. This was ideal if anyone needed a break from kayaking! We went to an amazing cave where we able to cliff jump! If you're brave enough you can jump off a pretty big rocks... But it's great cause there are smaller rocks too! We then went to this little cave beach to have lunch, and afterwards for a swim where there were so many fish to snorkle with! After that there was a gentle kayak back where we were we able to see the city walls from the sea. All in all a great day/morning and would highly recommend for anyone visits Dubrovnik!

Amazing tour of the city, such a nice way to see Dubrovnik as a whole, away from bustling crowds. These guys are so well organised and experienced the trip runs smoothly and is very relaxed. Our tour guide Eddie was amazing, great sense of humour and knowledge of the area and its history- he was probably the highlight of the trip! Also very big fans of the initial briefing, this was the perfect length (and being seated on benches in the shade definitely helps!)- lots of information but in a quick, clear, good-humoured manner. Would definitely recommend, felt like these guys really cared about guests having the best experience they could have.

I had an amazing time with the guys from X-Adventure kayaking in Dubrovnik. From the beginning the atmosphere was super relaxed and comfortable, and there was no doubt that we would be taken care of and that we could completely focus on just enjoying the day.
All of the necessary equipment was provided (sit on top kayaks, buoyancy aid and paddle) as well as some extras such as food and water and dry bags and buckets to keep valuables safe which was very nice.
Most people were given 2 person kayaks which are ideal for couples and families and are the safest way to go with very little risk of capsize (nobody did on our trip). I came to the the tour alone and have a lot of kayaking experience home in Ireland so I had a single person kayak to myself, so that is also an option.
The tour was great and there is no time wasted at all, we paddled almost non stop for the full time of the tour with only one 30 minute break in a cave for some swimming which was brilliant and another short break for optional cliff diving. We covered a lot of distance and it was a good workout!
Along the way, the guide Darko told us some stories about the visible landmarks and the history of the region which made it even more enjoyable. Everybody was extremely friendly.
I would highly recommend this tour to anybody as the views were breathtaking and the staff really look after you and make you feel at ease. 10/10.

A very well organised kayaking tour. We (myself and my 14yr old daughter) booked the kayaking tour for Tuesday 9:30am but the evening before we had a message to say the weather conditions were not good. I expected that as storms were due that day. We were happy to re-book for the next morning or were given the option for refund. On the morning we were briefed and shown how to use the equipment. The whole group was split into 2 smaller groups, experienced and not experienced. We were not experienced plus another couple and our instructor Milo, set off on time. Stop over at Betina cave which was my highlight of the whole trip as the snorkelling there was amazing. I brought my own snorkel but Milo had the equipment too if you wanted to borrow it. Ham and cheese bred roll and water was provided there (veg option available). From there we went over to Lokrum island, stopped over in another cave where we had the opportunity to do some cliff jumping. After this the wind picked up and the girl from our group was feeling sea sick so Milo he suggested to go back the same way instead of around the outside of the island. Coming back in slightly windier conditions was tough but we have managed. Milo was excellent in navigating, instructions and letting us all about the history of Dubrovnik and Lokrum. Highly recommend this tour, if you get the opportunity, do it!

While in Dubrovnik, my husband and I decided that it's high time to try kayaking. Adriatic sea is the best place imaginable for doing that.
Our guide Darko walked us through all the rules and instructions, supplied us with bottled water, sandwiches, dry bags, wet-suites and life vests, and we set off on our kayaking adventure.
We went by Lovrijenac fortress, across the Lokrum island. Every once in a while we would stop to listen to Darko's stories about the city and its history. On our way, we explored some hidden caves and even had a pitstop at a hidden beach with some time for swimming.
In total it took us 7 km and 3 hours to do the round trip. It wasn't hard at all, but I must admit if you're not fit enough, your arms will be sore and tired very quickly :) And it's better not to forget about sun cream!
A lot of thanks to Darko and X-Adventures for such a magnificent time! Hope we'll have a chance to join you again.

My husband and I are not experienced kayakers, so this was a challenging but great fun morning and we'd highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of kayaking ability. That said, it is an 8km trip so you do need at least a base level of strength/fitness! Also don't forget to bring extra sunscreen or you'll end up with very burnt knees and shins!
We did the 9:30am tour on Saturday 18th September. Our guide only told us his name once so I can't remember his name, but he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, good fun and always kept an eye on our group. We stopped for sandwiches, snorkelling and swimming at Bettina's cave, then again for a spot of cliff jumping, during which he and the whole group helped me overcome my fear of heights!
A fabulous, hands-on way to see the city and Lokrum from a different perspective. Great price, great guides and great fun!

We really enjoyed our experience with Mateo (hope I got that right). This excursion was definitely worth the money and my partner and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. The three-hour tour was just the perfect amount of time to explore the coast, the island, swim, and get a little history lesson on Dubrovnik.
The crew provides a simple sandwich and a bottle of water but I would recommend packing extra water and additional snacks. Otherwise 10 out of 10 experience.

A great way to see the sights from the sea and get a little history lesson of Croatia at the same. Sandwhich and drink supplied as well which was a bonus. Plenty of short breaks to rest the arms. Helen was the best tour guide you could have asked for and the sunset was just epic with an excellent view for photo opportunities.

This activity was absolutely worth it - we spent a while looking through different kayaking experiences and are really glad we chose this one. It all ran really smoothly and Eugene the guide was excellent- making the trip fun by knowing the cliff jumping spots but also telling us local history along the route. 100% would recommend.
Containers and dry bags were given for possessions on the kayak also water and sandwiches were given for the trip which was a bonus!

Guides were chill and funny dudes, good exercise and enough breaks in between where the guide tells you stories about the city and history. Sandwich break on a remote little beach on the island outside of Dubrovnik. Fun overall!

Hi, keen to go on a 1/2 day am tour on Tuesday 13th Sept. Would we be able to leave our bags at your meeting point?
Thanks
Steph
Written 11 September 2022
Yes, I left my bag at the meeting point (they had a small room at the back). I did take out my cash, cards and phone and put them in the wet bag and water-tight drum mentioned above, which came with me on the trip.

Hi,
(1) is your kayak sit-on-top or inside?
(2) how deep is the water in Betina cave? Can I skip the snorkeling part?
Written 3 January 2020
They are sit on kayaks.
You don’t have to snorkel, can just sit on the small beach in the cove for that part or go for a swim without the snorkel

Do you availability for two adults and two children today? Thanks
