About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ClareJL30 contributionsA long day but so worth it!We pre booked this tour and it turned out to be the one day we had stormy weather. It was still superb. Our guide Laura was efficient (although she made Mostar out to be a haven for criminals! 😉. Mostar (Andrej was our gude) was stunning but filled with groups of tourists like ourselves and we found an excellent, traditional place to eat qnd watch the crowds go by. The waterfalls are spectacular- even in the rain! We stopped again on the journey back at the impressive suspension bridge across one of the ravines.Written 5 October 2024
- Metromart0 contributionsGreat TourA bit of a long day and the weather could have been better, but we both enjoyed the tour. Even at the end of the season Mostar was mad busy with tour groups. You could hardly stop to take a photo without being trampled. The waterfalls were amazing and would be a great place to spend a full day if the weather was good. The highlight of the tour was our charismatic and mercurial guide, Laura. She gave an excellent off the cuff explanation of the last 500 years of the local politics with some excellent insights. She also (nearly) kept her cool when the customs introduced an unexpected delay. Thanks Laura!Written 5 October 2024
- EAMarkb600 contributionsLovely day!Had a wonderful day exploring Perast and Kotor, good communication and was picked up not far from our hotel, lovely boat ride to lady of the rock and we got through customs quickly Olli our guide was excellent!👍Written 2 October 2024
- MMcK19690 contributionsWaste of time!If you don’t mind sitting on an uncomfortable bus for 5 hours with a rude, disengaged driver who almost caused 3 accidents and definitely did not know the meaning of the stop sign, then this trip’s for you. The tour leader did provide some information as we drove, but there were many more opportunities to explain things as we drove. She did nothing with the group. Three hours in Mostar given the crowds provided only a limited overview of the history. The inclusion of the Turkish House was a complete waste of time as little information was given and there were too many tourists to get a feel for its significance. The trip to the falls was interesting for those who wanted to swim but other than that it was not of great value. It was picturesque but compared to other falls we’ve seen, it does not rank among the top sights to see. Don’t waste your time or money!Written 27 September 2024
- hossameldine740 contributionsWell planned tripIt was a very good trip. Everything was on time as planned. Our guide (Sandra) was very friendly and helpful. The trip with the boat was my favorite part. I would recommend it to everyone.Written 25 September 2024
- chauhanLondon0 contributionsIvanka from Grayline tours is the best guideWe went with grayline tour operator in Split. Our tour guide Ivanka from Trogir was the best ever;a wonderful, caring and genuine human being who looked after each and every one of us,kept us entertained and knew the facts of each place visited very well. Her presence made the trip memorable. Only downside is I wish we had more time than the 40minutes we had in the little village of Pocitelj which was so pretty 🥰Written 13 September 2024
- isabelcZ1411ON0 contributionsAmazingCarmella was an amazing tour guide. The whole day felt very well planned. The city of Mostar was so interesting and the waterfalls was incredible. Loved the whole day. Would recommend bringing lots of snacks and water!Written 8 September 2024
- Roam368595131990 contributionsMostar is a beautiful small townAbsolutely worth going. Tour guide is a very nice lady. We had a wonderful day in Mostar. The waterfall is just so-so. Would be great if they can add sth else to the trip.Written 6 September 2024
- GavF_120 contributionsBring CashWe did the day trip from Dubrovnik to Kotor, Lady of the Rocks and Perast. The guide was very nice. We weren't advised that cash was required to pay a tax in Kotor or that cash was required on the island, they charge there to use a toilet, no cards accepted. Seems some people that didn't have cash didn't have to pay the Kotor tax.Written 4 September 2024
- fiona-foster980 contributionsGreat views- long border waits. The views in Montenegro were brilliant, we visited a couple of towns and had time to explore independently in both. We also had a short tour in Kotor with local recommendations and historical facts. The only downside to this trip was the potentially long wait at the border when crossing into Croatia from Montenegro, meaning we could have waited for 8-10 hours due to high traffic in August, particularly on weekends. Our tour guide, Luka was very helpful and managed to find another way to get us all back into Croatia through another area. Overall a great experience but if booking this trip in August prepare for VERY long queues (up to 8km) at the border either too or from Montenegro.Written 19 August 2024
- Chimelle220 contributionsWonderful waterfall and Mostar marketThe waterfalls were beautiful, as was Mostar. Very interesting to compare the repairs (or lack of) in Bosnia as opposed to rebuilds in Croatia from the same period. "Disco" was our driver, he was great but there a bit of an issue in that people in the back couldn't hear and I don't think the mic worked.Written 18 August 2024
- Clare_Ellen_770 contributionsLuka the guide and driver made a great trip even greaterI enjoyed the small group part of this tour. 15 people was a good number. Luka our guide did a fabulous job of driving and guiding. It was a hot day. The waterfalls would have been made better if I could swim in them. The dress code on the itinerary says 'smart casual' therefore I didn't have my swimmers. I would have preferred more time at the falls than in Mostar but I did enjoy the town and there is a spot to swim there as well. When the information states you need 10 euro for waterfall entry, they mean in cash and you also need an extra 3 euro for the tourist tax. Many places in Mostar don't have card facilities but you can withdraw the local currency from ATMs. The Turkish house was a lovely way to end the tour.Written 17 August 2024
- Clare_Ellen_770 contributionsCute tourist towns with a 5.5 hour bus ride to get back.I enjoyed Montenegro. However a 2.5 hour trip back to Dubrovnik took 5.5 hours. There is no mention of the possible delay anywhere in the tour information. Despite seeing the traffic on the way to Montenegro, the guide seemed confident it wouldn't be as bad on the way back. Had we been informed of the possible delay, we could have been prepared with extra water and snacks. Perhaps the company could have an emergence water stash on board. I got severely dehydrated sitting on the bus for that long. If you're deciding between Bosnia and Montenegro I would highly recommend Bosnia.Written 17 August 2024
- Jim N0 contributionsWaste of a dayMostar was a quaint town to visit but the waterfalls visit wasn't worth the time. One hour and half of that was walking down and back up. If you were swimming then you may have got 10 minutes in the water. All in all, it wasn't worth the whole day. If this was a stopover as part of your journey then yes.Written 11 August 2024
- david m0 contributionsFull day tripExcellent day trip, well worth the cost. Clean modern bus with AC. Excellent communication beforehand with pickup details etc. Great guides who were friendly and knowledgeable. Mostar was great, waterfalls magnificent !Written 21 July 2024

We decided to book a private driver to take us to Mostar and Kravica waterfalls and so happy we did as it was definitely a highlight from our vacation. Our driver Marko was outstanding! He arrived on time in the morning and we were able to beat the tour buses through the border crossings. Car was very clean and the ride was comfortable. We spent a little over three hours in Mostar and another two hours at Kravica. We did not feel rushed by the driver at all and had plenty of time for pictures, shopping, and lunch. We had a nice swim at the waterfalls and then headed back to Dubrovnik in comfort. Price was about the same as the group tours being offered to the same location, but so much better than riding around on a bus or mini-van for the long drive. Highly recommended!

We went with Milo from Select Dubrovnik on a private tour in a private Mercedes car. Our driver Milo was excellent, he drove safely and took us along routes that gave the best views of the scenery along the coast and then in to Bosnia Herzegovina. He knew the area well and as a local was able to advise on the best stops and a good restaurant in Mostar for lunch. We really enjoyed the casual chat as we went along and it was a great opportunity to learn more about the area in a conversation rather than having a guide reciting a well used patter with no interaction. Sites we visited were well worth the trip and if you are prepared to pay the extra for a private tour well worth the cost. If you are a group of 4 you would fit in our car easily and it would be little more expensive than the mini bus tour.
