Meeting at the office, Zrinsko-Frankopanska 6 and grabing our cars for transfer.

    Duration: 10 minutes

Location: Adriatic Kayak Tours, Zrinsko-Frankopanska 6, Dubrovnik 20000 Croatia

Meet at Adriatic Kayak Tours office at 9 am or the morning half-day tour or 3 pm for the afternoon half-day tour for a 12-15 minute drive north to charming Zaton Bay.

After a brief on-land safety and instructional demonstration at the Zaton kayak base, and perhaps a quick dip in the sea, your professional guide instructs you in basic paddling technique in double and single proper sit-in kayaks. The 2 km deep bay, surrounded by mountainous terrain, offers protection from coastal winds and calm paddling water. After exploring Zaton Bay by kayak, head out to the open sea. Paddle past caves and geological features sculpted by centuries of exposure to the wind and sea. After 40 minutes of paddling,a break in the cliffs reveals an small, shallow cove with a pebble beach accessible only by kayak. Stretch your legs, swim, snorkeling, jump from into the open sea, or simply relax on the beach before the 40 minute paddle back to the kayak base in Zaton Bay. Return to Dubrovnik by car.

    Duration: 3 hours

Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to kayak beyond the bay and go through the caves so we were not able to do this or go cliff jumping. We were also not led to a good snorkelling spot so we just kayaked around the...More

Unfortunately, we can't control the weather. Client safety is a primary concern. You refer to "guides". Our maximum group size is 8/ AKT guide; a second guide was added to accommodate the larger group. There are plenty of sea kayaking companies in Dubrovnik that take...More

Altough I would not advise it, as there is always the danger of tipping over if you are not an experienced kayaker, if you feel confident you will not tip over or fall out of the kayak it can be done. Without the... More
