- P5474BJrogerb0 contributionsGreat organisation, very professional staff who will respond to all your requirementsSandra recommended the itinerary which pried to be spectacular, the driver was excellent and the guide , Bogdan, was gave us a fascinating insight to Montegro culture and history with a great deal of humour. Will be recommending Moro & Sons to our friends and relatives, if you are going to Montenegro I highly recommend you use themWritten 3 November 2023
- F5260TVamyj0 contributionsAwesome Tour! This tour was awesome! Ryan was an amazing guide, and gave us so much information about Kotor. He was friendly and fun and made it so interesting. We loved the food and wine part of the tour. Absolutely recommend this tour if you want to learn more about Kotor, but also want to experience local food and wine!Written 31 October 2023
- tripleh82980 contributionsWorth every penny - top notch guidesWe were booked for one day with Miro & Sons and before the day was over booked the next day with them as well. Absolutely fell in LOVE with Montenegro because of our guides knowledge and passion for their home. The first day we went up the serpentine drive, visited Njegusi and Cetinje, then on to Budva and finally to Kotor. It was a full day but it flew by and we got so much more out of it than we would on our own, The car was very comfortable. Our guide paced the day very well and he, himself, was so knowledgeable, so interesting. We knew we wanted to get out on the water but hadn't decided on how - kind of wanted to see how the weather would be etc. While we were with our guide the first day we asked if they had anyone who could take us out the next day. He got on the phone and made it happen! We were there in the shoulder season so during peak times that may not have been possible but they had someone available and we knew we would have a great tour with them. The second day was just as great as the first. We went to Perast, saw the submarine tunnels, the blue cave and stopped in Fisherman's village for lunch which will forever be a highlight for us. Again our guide paced the time in each place well. She was so knowledgeable and personable. We typically don't do guided tours because we like to be on our own pace and there are certainly less pricey ways to see the sights but these tours were worth every penny and more. So grateful for the experience!Written 26 October 2023
- annea4500 contributionsGreat Day in Persat and KotorI selected this tour based on what I read in Rick Steve's guidebook. Our tour guide, Dejan, was very professional and passionate about his country. We toured Persat and almost had the place to ourselves! Then Dejan drove us to Kotor and took us to the local market for olive, cheese and meat samplings. We walked around town and he explained the history of Kotor. The tour ended up with local wine and food. The food was excellent and so was the wine. I think we could have fed a family of eight with all that food! Excellent tour for cruise passengers who do not want to be on a bus with 40 other people.Written 24 October 2023
- KenSSnavely0 contributionsGreat Way to experience Kotor and local cuisineOur guide Dan made this tour a wonderful experience. We walked through the old city to learn some history, sampled foods at the local market, and then feasted on some excellent food at a local restaurant. All of the food we tried was very delicious. If you are visiting Kotor I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you again to Dan.Written 23 October 2023
- doriet7370 contributionsGreatExactly as described. Learned all about this quaint Old City of Kotor. Jelena was insightful and charming. This would be great if you could add a couple more people for further enjoyment.Written 20 October 2023

- cmpaquelet0 contributionsDelightful tour with knowledgeable guideMy husband and I took this "two hour" private trip with our guide Kim and thought it was terrific! We met up (on time) outside the city gate, which was easy to find, and started at a local market along the city wall, tasting olives, oil, meats, cheeses and brandy/rakija, and meeting the local producers. As we toured the Old Town, Kim shared info about the city and its history, as well as local culinary traditions. We ended the walking part of our tour around 11:30 when we sat down outside at a charming restaurant on a busy square in the Old Town. That stop included bottled water, several glasses of wine apiece, a beautiful charcuterie board that included local sauces/dips for with bread (just like in the photo ad), as well as a lovely squid ink and aubergine risotto. It was a VERY generous amount of food, and all of it was delicious. Kim sat with us until about 12:30, patiently answering our many questions about daily life in Kotor, and providing personal perspective which we appreciated. She was very forthcoming, took her time with us, and could not have been nicer. It was a delightful way to spend a morning and have a lovely lunch (for not much more than the cost of the lunch!).Written 3 October 2023
- 769aideenh0 contributionsExcellent walking and food tour of Kotor with an engaging hostMarina was a superb host during our 'Private Walking Food and Wine Tour of Kotor' and definitely didn't let 'Bura' or the wind and rain dampen our spirits. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided some interesting facts and insights on Kotor along with some restaurant recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Marina. Our only regret is not stopping to buy some of the olives and homemade honey with fruits and walnuts in the food market.Written 2 October 2023

- 158martini0 contributionsFantastic Solo Wine & Food Tour of KotorI had a fantastic time on my walking wine & food tour with Bogdan! We walked all over the Old Town of Kotor, tried a lot of delicious Montenegrin food, wine, and rakija, and had fantastic conversation, where I learned a lot about Montenegrin history, culture, and perspectives. I was a solo traveler and Bogdan also gave me more recommendations for my time in Montenegro, such as other places to eat and sites to see which truly enriched my trip. I highly recommend this tour!Written 17 September 2023

This was my second visit to Montenegro and it captured my heart when I glanced across the bay on my first visit in 2018. Stefan was our guide on a trip to Croatia and I did a post trip to Montenegro. So when I had the opportunity to return with my granddaughters recently, I could not wait to share this beautiful spot with them. Stefan was amazing! He has such a relaxing way of sharing history and you instantly connect with him. I will be back as I have yet to climb the city hills behind Kotor!

Bogdan gave us a Truly Epic Tour of the region today! We asked for a customized tour by combining multiple options shown on their website. We started with a tour to the coastline and lunch at Budva. Bogdan was both knowledgeable and comical teaching us about the Montenegrin way and historical events. After lunch, our scenic drive continued back to Kotor, where we boarded a speed boat to Our Lady Of The Rock, then Perast for a taste of the famous Montenegrin cake. From there, we were off on a picturesque boat ride to the famous Blue Cave. The guys jumped in for a memorable swim, then we toured some of the local caves and a submarine tunnel. The ride back was so gorgeous and relaxing. The final leg of our tour was their Walking and Food Tour in the Old Town. We tasted a variety of regional foods and drank nice local wines.
Overall, Bogdan made this tour an epic experience we will never forget. The stunning landscape of Montenegro, combined with it’s welcoming and hospitable people make travel here well with the trip. Thank you Bogdan and Miro and Sons!

Nice and fun
We didn't consider travelling to Montenegro before, but I gotta admit it turned out better than expected! Tours are organized to the detail, and they really give you exactly what they offer, or even more. All the people we met from the agency were friendly and cooperative, easy to communicate with and this country is so lovely, both with its nature and food.

Despite the situation with COVID-19 all around the globe, I took the chance to explore more of our beautiful country of Montenegro! Decided to book the tour of Our Lady of the Rock island and romantic towns of Kotor and Perast. Can't decide which of the spots was my favourite one!! Special thanks to the amazing guide Djuka, who revealed some interesting stories we didn't know about before! :) The whole tour felt like we were abroad, discovering some new places in a completely different country!

Such an enjoyable tour!
We love to book tours way ahead of traveling to some new country, and we tend to ask a lot of questions because we want to find out as much as we can about that country. We had luck to contact Miro & Sons and get to communicate with Sandra who was very patient and made our tour perfectly organised! We were greeted by the most charming guide Djuka who was both our guide and driver! Such a peaceful day we spent visiting beautiful coastal towns! Given the current situation we can't wait to plan our next trip, and we will definitely include Montenegro in it, there is so much more to see!!!

Hi, we are a group of five looking to rent a speed boat tomorrow. Is it possible to go exploring or do you need to stick with the scheduled visits to lady of the rocks etc?
Thanks

Dear,
Thank you for your message, and so sorry for the late reply.
Since all of our tours are private, it is a bit difficult to organize everything day before the tour, because it depends on the availability of speedboat, so it is better to book it in advance at least couple of days.
As for the itinerary, we could change it a little bit, the way it suits you the best. :)
Kind regards,
Miro & Sons team
