Our tour is unique because of our passion that we do with pleasure, with stories from different cities of Kosovo, which is one of the youngest countries in the Europe and declared independence in February 2008. Kosovo is landlocked in the central Balkan Peninsula. Prishtina is capital and largest city. In the south it is bordered with North Macedonia and Albania, Montenegro to the west, and Serbia to the north and east. Kosovo has just 10800 square kilometers, population is 1.8 million citizens, but is very rich in cultural heritage, history and beautiful nature. Kosovo has different strata of cultural heritage, ranging from the early periods as the Neolithic period, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, then Dardane-Illyrian period. Also, there are the traces of Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire, Communism period till the contemporary era. You can visit all the main attractions in Prishtina and other cities with the best local guide.

Gettng to know the "personal" side of Kosovo
In addition to the deep knowledge Valon has about the region, what was particularly memorable to me was the personal stories he related, growing up in Kosovo during the war. It's not a subject that many want to talk about, and to hear Valon's perspective was fascinating. It was so great having Valon along to help us select the best menu choices and meet other people. It seemed he knew everyone. He went out of his way to make sure we got even more than we paid for. It was a very interesting and enjoyable day.

Visit Kosovo with an excellent guide
I was recently in Pristina, Kosovo, and stayed six nights at the beautiful hotel Pristina Hotel and Spa. I didn't feel comfortable renting a car so I asked the reception if there were any hotel guides or tours. The hotel set me up with Valon Shkodra. For three days Valon showed me the highlights of Kosovo, and there are a lot. The caves, the bears, Prizen (the second largest city in Kosovo) the gorge, the waterfall, and ancient ruins are just a few. Valon's English is excellent and he was able to explain so much about Kosovo as we drove, stopped for coffee and lunch and explored the country. I always felt safe while in Kosovo and the people there are wonderful.

        Great tour/ tour guide!
My mother and I were in Kosovo for a quick 2 days and we had a great time! The tour was amazing! We got to see all the museums and special monuments, as well as the everyday life in the hustling city! Our tour guide couldn’t have made us feel more welcomed and was very well educated! Highly recommend on your next trip!

        Really worth a visit
Both countries are magnificent, the capital cities of Skopje and Prishtina are large and getting about on foot can be tiring.Ohrid in Macedonia is a gem however be aware in Macedonia your hotel ,accommodation are required to register you with the police.Make sure you get a copy of this registration as they ask for it at Macedonian border .We were also delayed by officers who were not familiar with foreign passports .I would say the people in Kosovo are friendlier, more helpful and accommodating. In Macedonia cakes to die for.Skopje is a delight with statues, architecture and open parks.

Brilliant, Friendly guide with first hand knowledge and a great mind
A wonderful day exploring this quite unknown country and learning about their history. Jeton was amazing at explaining the history and discussing the present with us over a coffee and then showing us around the capital before driving us off to Prizren to wonder around this charming little town. The scenery around here is wonderful and the people are hardworking and friendly despite their horrible past. I am so glad we made this journey from Skojpe to understand this nation a bit more despite ignorant, scared family telling us it was not safe. I recommend this to everyone I meet and Jeton was the perfect guide for the day

See Kosovo from the Inside - Learn and Laugh!
Valon is the absolute perfect guide for a tour in Kosovo, and Albania (for those who wish to go a little bit further). He has the perfect combination of knowledge of the history and culture of the country, a great sense of humour, and a tireless attention to the needs of those who is is guiding. I have done a number of tours with Valon, as have family members who have visited Kosovo. We have enjoyed all of them, learning along the way. You really cannot find a better insight into this marvelous country than having Valon show you around.

Day tour of Kosovo from Skopje
Jeton was a super tour guide. We toured Prishtina and Prizren in a day and I learnt a great deal about the history and past political situation of the country. It was a long drive for Jeton, especially given there was a road diversion, but he took it in his stride. Thank you. 😄

        Great tour to Prizren
Jeton was very knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about the region. We toured UNESCO sites and the city stopping to get great food and drink at cafes along the way. Highly recommended for your visit to Kosovo.

A fantastic day with our guide Valon.
Valon was our guide from 8.30am to 8.30pm and was so interesting and informative. We learnt a lot from him about the places we visited and he paced our day very well. He will tailor a tour to your personal requirements and is very flexible. Kosovo has an interesting and varied history and Valon is very knowledgeable and kept us entertained and informed all day. I can wholeheartedly recommend Valon to guide you around Kosovo.

        A personal taste of Kosovo
Our tour guide, Valon Shkodra, showed us all around Prishtina and Prizren. He was born and raised in Kosovo, so he knew all of the nuances and customs. We ran into many people that knew him personally, in fact we joked that "we actually passed someone he didn't know". Because of his many friends, we were offered samples of some of the produce in the market. I was completely satisfied with our tour and wouldn't change a thing.

An excellent, informative, fully engaging tour with Valon. He speaks English fluently, is very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly…a delightful companion for the day! He is also a very good driver and focuses on the comfort and enjoyment of his clients. My husband and I have traveled the world and can wholeheartedly recommend Valon if you want to discover the best of Kosovo.

I had an absolute blast with the guide Valon Shkodra! He educated me so much about the past of Kosovo and was very positive, entertaining and welcoming. He showed us more in one day that I thought was even possible. Took us to the mountians, ziplining, waterfalls, rivers, mosques, catholic monastery and more hidden spots with beautiful views. Along with a unique city "Peja" where he introduced me to traditional food and drinks. This experience exceeded my expectations I had a great time that I will never forget. 10/10 recommended!!!

I had a lovely day exploring Kosovo with Valon Shkodra. Some of it was on foot walking through Prishtina city. We had a wide ranging conversation covering everything from Balkan history to local cuisines to the Kosovo war of 1998-99, thevrelatuonshio with the U.S. etc. Valon being a trained PhD anthropologist was more than just a tourist guide, he very structured in the way we discussed everything. Prishtina is a very walkable city and so were the other cities we went to. I truly got a full sense of the country. I later asked Valon to drive me into North Macedonia and Montenegro as well. There’s nothing like having a local person showing you the entire region and becoming friends in the process.

      Kosovo tour
We took a private tour day with a very professional tour guide "Valon Shkodra" it was on 19 july 2022.
There were a ready made tour programs suggested by "Valon" which were not fitting 100% to my interest. So we told him more about what we like to see & what is not. He made a wonderful day tour program which we enjoyed 100%.
Valon is a polite, on time, will organized, very professional guide. I will highly recommend him to my friends.
Thanks a lot "Valon" for the amazing tour in Kosovo.

Valon’s brother Jeton was our guide. He was knowledgable and so helpful. He took us at a relaxed pace through old Pristina and drove very carefully too. These things make such a difference when children are part of the group. He engaged with all of us from age 10 to age 50. All our small requests were accomodated with a pleasant style. Highly recommended.
