We had a very good day with Florin yesterday (September 29/24). He picked us up at our hotel in Brasov, promptly at 8:30, as he had said he would….always a good beginning! As he was worried about the crowds and the rain, we drove quickly to Peles Castle, and he provided a very good commentary about the castle as we toured inside. Next was Caraiman Monastery…a modern working church and Monastery….interesting. We had asked about seeing one of the fortified churches in the area, and he kindly agreed, taking us to Harman, and again providing information and commentary about the church as we toured through. He is very knowledgable and professional in his approach. We certainly would recommend him as a tour guide while in Brasov.

Florin was a great guide and friend for the day. He picked us up on time and took us on the Transfargasaran Road. It was stunning. Once at the top there are street traders selling local goods and street food. Beautiful lake up there as well. We were lucky enough to see a young brown bear on the way down next to the road as well. Florin is a fantastic guide. I had a private tour with him and he allowed me to make changes and adapt the tour to my interests. Florin is an expert on the area, and at the start of the tour he showed me a map and pointed out my options so I could decide which stops would suit my needs best. He taught me a lot about the history and culture of Romania. Transylvania is so beautiful and unique! I only did a day trip with Florin but I recommend booking several days traveling around the area with Florin.

Our driver, Florian was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Plus, he was super flexible. He agreed to alter our plans for the day to add an extra side trip! We did pay a little extra but it was a good decision. His English was excellent and he was a good teacher. All-in-all a very good day.

We took a 4-he walking tour of Brasov with Florin. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of the city while providing historical and architectural context for Brasov and the whole region. He also provided helpful tips about other sites we could visit on our own. A very worthwhile tour!

He was nice, but perfunctory. We checked the boxes and learned a bit. His car was clean and he drove safely on the crazy roads. He knew the area well. However, he wasn’t proactive with checking in with us. Things like restrooms, lunch (nothing seemed to be planned to allow for time), taking pictures, or car temp. He just didn’t ask.

We really enjoyed this trip. The palace was very beautiful, especially in the snow. Florin was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge about the history. He also took us to the George Enescu house. We recommend this trip with Florin.

This was my second tour with Florin, who was very flexible with our time schedule since we had to be back by 4pm. This tour is great for getting to and from a few of the main tourist attractions while visiting Brasov. I mention this in my other review for Transfăgărășan tour with Florin, but what is missing is the 20 minute tour pitch about the history and background of the area while driving to the spots on the tour. If we didn't ask any questions, then we would not have learned much about where we were going and visiting. You had to have questions ready. Or else the car ride was long and silent.

This was the first time of my sister and me booking a private tour and our experience was really nice. It's cool there is a chance to go see the road with a tour because if you don't have a car it will become a problem. We want to thank Florin for taking good care of us during the trip. He told us a bit of history of Romania and the places we visited, took some photos for us and was very patient about our excitmenet. Also kudos to Florin for safe driving because we were a bit worried about the road. We definitely will recommend him for our friends if one day they decide to visit Romania!

I was looking to go out on my own, but an ad suggested this tour and it was awesome! Got to experince the countryside of Transylvania and learn about its history. Went to some areas you wouldn’t find as a tourist. Duration was very flexible as it depends on how long you want to spend in those areas, and also gives you the chance to do other things you may find along the way. 100% recommend!

We strongly recommend Florin for tours around Brasov. He's a lovely guy, very informative, and a safe and calm driver. He adapted to our needs and preferences. We initially just booked the Sighizoara tour with him, but appreciated him so much that we also booked the Bran day trip. ☺

Florin is a great tour guide and a pleasant person! I made the Sighisoara tour from Brasov (Cetatea Felidoara, Cetatea Rupea, Viscri with its Church, Sighisoara) and everything was great. Proper time dedicated to every actractions, he is cautious when driving, very expert of Romanian art and story and very enjoable to spend time with! I felt like I was visiting Romania with a super-expert friend!

Firstly let us start by saying how happy we were to have booked this tour! We will definitely use it again. Thank you Florin for taking such care of us and making this such a great experience, we also really enjoyed all the stopping points and the wonderful landscape. Florin was absolutely the best guide we've had during our honeymoon trip to Europe. He patiently picked us from the Airport and brought us around Brasov for a few days. Absolutely accommodating and he also knew where all the places are, be it the tourist destination or recommendations off the beaten tracks. It's his kind personality that makes it all comfortable to tour with him! Highly recommended! When he discovered we wanted to try out some local cheese, he even offered to give us some of the chives and plants that he grew at home just to make the experience more personal and authentic. We will never forget him and I'm sure you would absolutely be making the right choice in engaging Florin.

The guide is not very well informed. From my experience Florin is rather an experienced driver for the romanian roads than a guide
