Rocky is simply my most favorite and ultimately the best tour guide ever in Egypt, and anywhere else in the world. He made me feel safe and secure throughout the entire trip, he knows his stuff and you can tell that he truly is passionate about the history of his country. Our particular group was entirely random, and full of unusual personalities; Rocky made sure that all of us felt comfortable, safe, and by the second day we were all having such a great time together. Rocky was able to provide us with good advice both during the official sight-seeing, and for after-hours adventures, too. He even arranged an out-of-the-way visit to Dendera, despite the diverging schedules of the group, without inconveniencing a single one of us, all the time regaling us with experiences both past and present. If you are up for the adventure of your life and don’t know where to start Rag (Rocky) is your guy! He FaceTimed us ahead of our trip and asked us where we would be traveling and what we were looking to do and offered to book everything for us based on that information. We felt comfortable with him but he did not want payment up front to ensure we felt comfortable. We arrived in Cairo and he set us up with his friend who was our guide in Cairo/Giza and Alexandria including transportation. Once we arrived in Aswan he guided us through a Nile River Cruise, and many temples from Abu Simbel to Dandara including Valley of the Kings and so much more! He was so knowledgeable about not only the temples but all of the stories and depictions of the hieroglyphics. He has an amazing way of telling stories to make you visualize the story and the characters because believe me there are so many it’s easy to get confused. We felt extremely safe and had the time of our lives! He speaks fluent English and Japanese and made everyone we travelled with feel like family! The Rocky family!
