          Highlight of Luang Prabang!
Our trip to Luang Prabang, organized by Bravo Indochina Tours, was a delightful experience. The tour included a hassle-free private journey with a full day cruise on the Mekong River, a visit to Pak Ou Cave and Kuang Si waterfall on the first day, followed by a comprehensive city tour on the second day. The staff at Bravo Indochina Tours were responsive and helpful throughout. Our guide was particularly impressive, showcasing deep knowledge and an engaging personality. He was also incredibly accommodating to our needs, enhancing our overall experience. A visit to the elephant camps revealed that the elephants were healthy and well-cared for, with living conditions that were as good as, if not better than, many zoos I've visited. This tour is highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Luang Prabang and its surroundings with a reliable and professional tour company. Bravo Indochina Tours truly made our visit memorable.

          Wonderful day!!!
They picked us up at the Hotel, the group was small (11), our guide told us the problems of the elephants. They have to protect and guard them 24 hours a day. The camp was very nice and perfect organized. We even got special clothes for the elephant ride. That was a wonderful experience! We even went into the river with these huge animals. There were only 2 persons sitting on one. The guide and one of us. Suuuuper! We could shower and got a towel. Everything well organized and clean. The lunch was an exellent buffet! In the afternoon we went kajacking. Also great. The caves were not that exciting. Then the boat trip back to the city was great. We even got beer for free. The guide Mr. Pingpong was extremely friendly and helpful. Everybody really enjojed the day! I would say it was one of our best days in life!

          Beautiful memoried
I have been to Pak Ou in 2022 . I really loved it. It was a great trip. I went there by boat and sharing with few people. It was a nice place and good experiences. I had to walked upstairs and see many Buddhist statues in the cave.

          Ridiculous
No guide showed up after I waited for half an hour at hotel lobby. Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous! Payment went through many days ago though.

Great tour if you are new to Laos!
Great tour for a first day in Laos if you have never been here before. Went to an interesting cave site, a boat ride down the river, free drinks of whiskey and lunch, and a beautiful waterfall at the end where there is a chance to do some hiking. Great tour.

Manifa Travel Co Tours - Phenomenal
This is an amazing company run by Lao people to save the elephants in Lao, they also do other tours to the waterfalls and caves. We didn’t want to ride elephants as we felt it was cruel but after visiting the reserve for lunch as part of the waterfalls tour we decided to go back and spend time with the elephants as while we were eating the elephants were just roaming, bathing in the river and eatingWhat a phenomenal experience this was. They are so beautiful and intelligent we rode them with both a Howrah and bareback as well as taking them into the Mekong to wash them. This is a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to do this again. Manifa are very ethical and focused on the wellbeing of the elephants. Don’t miss out!!

I bet I would’ve liked it if they actually showed up.
After waiting for pickup for half and hour and trying to call multiple times without answer I gave up on trying to count on this company. Wasted a whole day because all the other tours had left by the time we tried to switch.

          This was stunning
It starts with this slow boat ride on Mekong river, all you see is wild jungel and some fishermen. After 2 hours with one stop at a very nice village with god handcraft items. Then you get to Pak Ou Cave and the story behind the cave from the Vietnam war. And the light, limb Stones and thousens of buddhas big, small, new. And old. And a great view over Mekong River. Then you go back up the river just 1 hour now. Drive to the Kuang Si fall, what a stunning place. You head up the jungel road and view the extrem waterfall. Then you can have a lunch by this picture perfect. We also swimed in the falls, this cold clean water. This is a must see. Thank you Vanh for being our guide

          Luang Prabang
Unfortunately, Luang Prabang isn't really the road less travelled! It has had major issues due to mass tourism depleting its natural and cultural heritage for the sake of tourism.

          interesting cave full of Buddhas
During a trip down the Mekong, we stopped at this cave and shrine. Also called Buddha cave, there are about 4000 Buddhas inside the two caves.

Excellent tour of the river, when combined with a stop at an ethnic village business
Somewhat unusual destination that can only be reached by boat, but an excellent tour of the river, when combined with a stop at an ethnic village business. Bring a jacket if the weather looks like it could change.

          Lazy morning on the river
Cruised along the river to visit the caves and it was very pleasant. Drifted along seeing children playing in the river, local fishermen and the buffalo also in the water. We stopped at a village on route where they made whiskey and spun the silk scarves before arriving at the caves. The caves were full of Buddhas and were quite interesting.

          Leisurely Cruise
Have a cruise up the river, enjoy the sights, stop at Whisky Village for a taste, then cruise some more to the caves. Two caves to see. My suggestion is do the upper cave first as it's a bit of a climb. Many many various Buddha statues of sizes inside both cave. I enjoyed seeing and worth the time.

Only do this trip if you have loads of time in Laos
The Mekong River is one of the longest rivers in the world and so is this boat ride! It’s slow and the scenery is nice but unchanging. I found it to be pretty boring after the first hour. The boat goes to Pak Ou Cave. It is filled with a thousand Buddha icons. It looks like the Salvation Army of Buddha icons. To get into the cave requires some good balance and strength. Interesting, but I’ve seen places more worth visiting. I would have preferred kayaking along the river. That is an option.
