About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- W2021JXmarkg0 contributionsFull Day Abu Dhabi Private TourWe arranged a tour with Daytur Emirates from the Abu Dhabi port, featuring: Sheikh Zayed Mosque Abu Dhabi Heritage Village Corniche and downtown Emirates Palace (photo stop) and Abu Dhabi Marina Qasr Palace (Presidential Palace) Mehboob, our guide from our previous Dubai tour, provided punctual pickup. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque was a notable highlight. The Heritage Village offered a glimpse into pre-oil Abu Dhabi, though was fairly standard. Qasr Palace showcased the city's grandeur. Overall, a satisfactory overview of Abu Dhabi's key landmarks."Written 18 March 2025
- jilllY8508NW0 contributionsA good day outA very interesting day it would have got 5 stars if he hadn’t been 45 minutes late. Interesting visits and good company.I can’t think of anything else to sayWritten 17 March 2025
- ianhV6300ZM0 contributionsAbu Dhabi full day excursionDriver Umair was a credit to the company and was one of the most enjoyable excursions I've ever had. Is a full value for money tripWritten 13 March 2025
- nmisabela0 contributionsBest guide AmjadThe tour was great, we were so lucky to get our guide Amjad Ali Khan he was fantastic catered to all our needs re time and stops, really knowledgeable of the area and we had great chats along the way. Very, very interesting! After our drop off we accidentally left something in car which Amjad kindly arranged for us to retrieve. Great service and very professional, thank you, can’t wait to be backWritten 12 March 2025
- d00dl30 contributionsMore of a ride not tourOur driver was courteous and pleasant, and a good driver. I should have paid more attention to some of the reviews detailing there was very little information shared about Abu Dhabi and the mosque. It was more of getting a ride from one place to another. If you’re familiar with the areas that you’re visiting and don’t need a tour, this was a good price for the amount of time that was spent with us. If you need or want descriptions of the areas that you’re visiting, this may not be the tour for you. Although the people at the “art museum” were very kind, I didn’t appreciate being taken into a sales pitch to purchase items.Written 12 March 2025

- Y6236DIkevint0 contributionsA few areas need to be improved “art museum” is a waste of timeOverall it is an OK trip. However, I would not recommend this tour as there are a few things can be improved. First of all, the 1st visit to the so-called “art museum” is a completely waste of valuable time to visit Abu Dhabi. Nobody wants to spend half an hour if not more listening to the carpet sales pitch, especially the authenticity of these “art works” is highly doubtful. Secondly, the guide didn’t give any instruction on the itinerary unless we asked where was the next destination. We weren’t given much option on where to go even though it was a private tour. I understand there may be some language barrier but not making any effort to explain to the customers is just not cool. Lastly, we were drop off at 6:30pm at Fararri World to spend the last 2 hours of the tour there but it was closed at 6pm! so we had to wander around the close by mall which was also a waste of time. I wish as a tour guide should have known better what the destination schedule is. We are very disappointed at this trip but also nothing seriously wrong happened so a 2-3 stars is fair.Written 6 March 2025
- 489reecef0 contributionsA nice day outOur driver Zeeshan was very nice. The kayaking was the best part of this trip. The mountains and water were beautiful and kayaking was very fun and peaceful. The Heritage Village wasn’t a tour, we walked around the village for 15 minutes, but all the shops were closed and there was no one around. Perhaps Ramadan played a part in that. The Museum was quite interesting, with history and facts about the area. Overall a nice day out.Written 6 March 2025

- Victoria A0 contributionsWonderful private day trip, outstanding tour guide/driver.Our driver was amazing, fun, kind, knowledgable, accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The trip was fantastic, we only landed at 4am the previous morning so we were tired by 4pm. The driver was very respectful of this and suggested napping in the vehicle while he drove us back to the hotel. Wonderful trip, highly recommend.Written 23 February 2025
- BlairWaite0 contributionsDisappointing, but still worth it.This rating is highly based on what we happen to enjoy in a tour. So YMMV, depending on your likes/dislikes. Firstly, the frustrating. The company had us in a different hotel than we had booked. When I was told this by the driver the night before by IM, we corrected it. However, they changed the driver last minute, and the new driver went to the wrong hotel. Then complained when we finally got in touch. Very unprofessional, and not a great start. Based on other reviews, we were expecting a knowledgeable driver with lots of interesting information. Instead, as soon as we got in the car, he played videos on his car tablet about the sites we would see. One after another, with no interaction. The driver was pleasant enough, but did not want to engage in discussion unless we asked him questions. His English was adequate, but not great. At every stop, he would run on ahead and had us follow until we got to the "meeting point", usually in a mall, then he'd leave us without a lot of direction. The highlight of the trip was our first stop. Although the mosque was unbelievable and worth the trip alone, our drop off was strange. We were left in the middle of a store in the underground mall, and told we had an hour and a half to explore. We had to find our way to the mosque, almost missing the window of our tickets. We had to find our way back to the store to meet our driver at the end. However, the mosque was truly wonderful. Most of the other stops seemed to be opportunities to shop for (or be sold) things. We had a strange stop that wasn't listed on the itinerary at an"Islamic Museum", which was really a trap to sell "gold carpets" or something. The museum part was interesting for about 15 minutes, but the sales pitch had us flying out the door. We don't appreciate that the company must be getting a commission for taking us there. We even asked to adjust the itinerary before this to skip the site, and were told we could not change the itinerary, different than other reviewers. Ferrari world was cool, but again dropped off in a mall, and not much to see because tickets weren't included, so could just really go to the Ferrari store (or a hundred other mall stores) Heritage Village might be very interesting to many, but we prefer to be in a real old town than in an artificially created area. Again, there were stores selling goods. The date market was something we wished we skipped. Again, seemed that the company had an agreement with a few of the stores, and thus the reason we were brought there. The "Palace" was the former palace of the King, but is now a Mandarin Hotel, and reminded us of... well... a Hotel. Not worth the visit... maybe a picture as we drove by would have been enough. Finally, the mall for lunch was full of American fast food restaurants, FWIW. I will say, the price of the trip was very reasonable for the drive from Dubai and the access to the mosque alone. So overall, we are happy we went. And from some of the reviews, it seemed that there are some very strong guides that offered lots of extra information. Our guide was very nice and kind, but not as engaging.Written 23 February 2025

Private Red Dunes Desert Safari by Wasim made our day a memorable one. It is one of the highlights of our stay in Dubai. Wasim was on time, briefed us before we started the trip and managed our expectations very well. Wasim was very informative as a Tour Guide, we learnt a lot about Dubai from him. Dunes bashing by Amjad was exhilarating and the rest of the shows at the Camp were exciting too. Well done Wasim! Thank you. Jayant.

We had a fantastic evening. So far this is the best day in our Dubai visit. The driver, Wasim not just only drive us to the desert, but along the journey he shared with us some story about Dubai, the kindness act of the king etc. He tell jokes, he make sure everyone is happy and comfortable during the journey..
Dune’s bashing is the highlight of the day. The car condition was good and driver Amjad was very skilful. This is the must do activity in Dubai visit.
Our whole family, 6 including 2 children 10 and 13 years old enjoyed this attraction very much.

We had Wasim as our driver cum guide to desert safari on Sunday 27 November 2022. He was perhaps the best guide l've ever had. He was very hospitable, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us a brief history of Dubai and its rich cultural history in just 45 mins ! He is a priceless gem in the company he works for. From Christopher Chan (Malaysia).

we spent a week in Dubai and this was our least favorite day. I chose this operator because of the good reviews, and the driver was nice and professional, but the entire desert safari experience and camp were not what we expected. The fire and dance shows were mediocre at best. The food wasn't tasty (only the grilled chicken tasted good). They only had white wine and it was really bad. We sat in the VIP section and the couches were gross, they've probably never been cleaned. The camel ride was about 10 meters long just enough to take a pic, and the free henna tattoo is a small flower, you have to pay for an actual design. There's a $5 surcharge for every credit card payment, so bring cash. The dunes bashing was fun but we didn't last more than 5min before we were getting sick from the ride. Too much time was spent at a stop (before and after the dunes bashing) that's not even mentioned in the program where vendors bother you with products or rentals we didn't need or ask for. Our favorite moment of the whole tour was literally when we left the camp to sit on a sand dune and watch the sunset, could have done that without an organized tour.

The Desert Safari Experience in Dubai with BBQ Dinner was an awesome experience for me. I didn't have a local number but the tour operator contacted me via WhatsApp and shared all the details.
My tour guide was Asrar. And trust me he is one of the most humble and patient person I have ever met. Important of all he is an excellent experienced desert driver.
Highly recommended experience if you are there in Dubai book with RAH Tourism and ask for Asrar.

Hi, a few questions.
Firstly we've been on a desert safari a couple of years ago & have to admit it was really not great for us. Obviously our first experience & had to try it.
1. Dirty 4 x 4s (sand everywhere)
2. It was like we were part of the masses. The evening BBQ was standing in long queues for terrible food.
That put us off from ever trying this again.
We've got family visiting in November (cooler months) and was hoping for something really lovely for them to experience & thought of going with something private & good service.
Pick up from home in Dubai-land
Pleasant dune bashing experience (not in any reckless manner)
Sand-boarding / quad biking
& Camel ride
I'm currently looking at various options for either an early sunrise or sunset time.
We're 5 adults altogether. I would appreciate it if you can advise on something really pleasant & enjoyable experience.
Thanku
