Not knowing really what to expect, we rode in a 4x4 from the hotel to the desert. The driver then entered the desert with a "caravan" of other 4x4's and we drove a a very fast pace over the dunes. This was better than a roller coaster and more exciting. Many times we almost tipped over or dropped from the top of the dunes to the sand way below. Totally unexpected thrill ride. We then stopped on a high dune to watch the beautiful desert sunset. Afterwards we went to a bar b que and show in an oasis. This was an unexpected fun experience.

Precise location not given so hard to find as Dubai Marina is 7 km long. We turned up to be humiliated by refused entry as names not on list my partner persisted as I was very distressed. We had our paperwork and picture of boat. Al Khan Tours we’re not recognised as agents. Bad organisation. Total lack of communication. We couldn’t phone as it would have cost a small fortune. 45 mins later the staff at the boat called Al Khan Tours and the company sent through a email. They had forgotten to inform the end supplier. We eventually boarded last and had to go on the enclosed lower deck feeling like third class passengers. It’s not as if you can go another day as it’s a one off occasion. Book with another company Not Al Khan Tours as you will be so stressed you will not enjoy the cruise let alone eat the dinner. I was lucky my partner was so determined. Compensation should be given for my humiliation in front of a large queue of passengers and distress caused.

It was a great experience, Had so much fun there, clicked so many pictures! Safari was excellent, Our driver was so good he gave us sand board as well it was amazing time me and my husband had a great time.

One of the best place to enjoy evening with your loved ones on dhow cruise which has restaurant inside the cruise , excellent place awesome food , friendly staff especially we had enjoyed a lot. thanks to all team

Sunset Desert Safari with BBQ dinner/Al Khan Tours/booked via Expedia. I advice you to spend more money and buy a trip with better quality. This was horrible. The driver didn't speak anything/tell about the plans, so all people were as questionmarks during all trip. We didn't go soon enough to see the sunset, which was very disappointing because seeing sunset at desert was the reason we bought this sunset trip.. The driver didnt warn about starting dunebashing so we hurt ourselves in the very back of the car as car started to jump like crazy. Also started to feel a bit sick as we couldnt see much out from the back part of the car and it started to be more dark out. Poor kid in front of us felt so sick but the driver just kept driving. Shows in the camp were not special and lot lot lot people in the camp area. Food was eatable but not recommendable. Camel ride was available if you want queque for 30min. All this trip lasted more than 7hours  (of that 4 hours inside car). Afterall we could have save all this used time (now it was pretty much waisted) and use it in Dubai city. However desert is stunning, and if you want to visit it, I advice you to make more reseach, spend maybe a little bit more money and have better quality trip and really see the sunset at desert.

Our guide Rana Kabir was very kind every time, he was taking many pictures of us at the desert. The whole experience was amazing. The food at the buffet was good but very spicy.

It was amazing and excellent Tour. Superb driver. Totally new experience for us. We were a big group so there were lot of vehicles allocated. Seven people from our group got into one 4x4 vehicle. We were asked to put the seat belts since the tour is with lot of jerks.Dune Bashing Amazing we had enjoyed too much love it the services

Anwar was a great and friendly guide! He was a safe driver on the dunes and always made sure we were having fun! Since I was travelling alone, he always offered to take my picture with my phone when we stopped at the desert landmarks or when I was doing the activities (sandboarding, camel riding, etc). The camp was also a wonderful experience.

Tour was excellent while riding through the private desert reserve...food at the desert camp was good...advertised dancing did not occur...the 4x4 male dancers spent a few minutes beating drums and swaying rhythmically, but no real dance performers, belly dancers, singing, etc. very disappointing “show”....way overpriced for what you get...
