Good but needs better description for customers
Nice drive, nice people. They help with all the things on the border. I think its important to know ghat you can book trips with the driver as you are in the car

Defintely do a Chobe river sunset tour. It’s worth it!
An animal filled sunset tour. We saw many elephants, crocodiles, Cape buffalo, antilope and giraffe. Also excellent for bird spotters. Our guide, AK, was very knowledgeable on all wildlife we saw, which gave the experience further depth. Would 100% recommend to do this activity while staying in Kasane.

Elephant photography on the Chobe river
I did 4 boat trips on the Chobe river in September 2023, and had some amazing experiences, especially seeing elephants swim across the river at sunset. This October (including a drought) I was hoping for more of the same, but better. Unfortunately the 40 degree temperatures drove elephants down to the river earlier, so by 3pm most had already left, and there was no food left on the islands to entice them to stay longer. So very disappointing for photography. My lodge gave me a budget boat trip of P300 + P150 entrance fee for SADC members. Unfortunately the boat was extremely croweded, and most people boozed a lot so they were extremely loud and disruptive. Had the same experience last year too. How to avoid this? I don't know! Maybe pay more for a more sophisticated environment?

        Fantastic Day Trip
We did a day trip with Afrinature Safaris in Chobe with a pick up from the Zambian border. We had a fantastic day with a game drive and river safari which included a great coffee break and a delicious lunch amongst others. The service from when we did our booking through the office till we said goodbye to our very friendly guide, Fifi, was world class! We would definitely use Afrinature in the future and would recommend them to anyone touring the area!

Amazing overnight in Chobe, elephants a plenty but the proximity to lions... incredible.
Our guides on both the boat (Mec) and the camp/drive (Haskins) were amazing. We saw so many animals including watching some crazy giraffe interactions and tracking 5 lions on the hunt. It was a group for but as it was only the the of us felt like a private tour. The camp site and food was so much more than we expected. Overall an amazing experience. Thanks David and team at Afrinature.

        Poor experience
We booked a boat cruise, a VicFalls trip and a private safari to Moremi with Afrinature aka African Drifters. All of them were operated by third party operators or freelancers, so rather book with others. This company totally spoilt our holidays instead of having a relaxed trip which we actually paid a lot of money for. I already complained during the trip but I was asked by the owner to send my complaints on email, then we would talk about a refund. Since I have sent the report to him I was ghosted - no replies on Whatsapp, no one picked up the phone. After all: No refund - no excuse - nothing than disappointment with this company. We paid 5k USD for the private safari for 2 people for 5 nights. We had a lot of issues with the company like delays, hotel change, changes in the prearranged schedule, one day we didn't even arrive at the camp that was booked before it got dark. Only one day was ok for us. Everything seemed to be happening due to a lack of planning, organisation and communication.

        Absolutely great experience
My experience with Afrinature was simply great. (-: I booked a tailored 5 nights tented safari that took me to Xakanaxa, Khwai, Makgadikgadi Pans and Chobe National park. This was my second safari, but it was a better experience than the first one: the guide would tell me facts and names even when I was not asking, and this is a plus for me as sometimes you just don't know what to ask, you just wouldn't think there's so much to know. It was fun to try and read the tracks together with OT and go look for the animals. An absolute favourite was Makgadikgadi Pans, as well as the ride from Maun to there (many giraffes, elephants and ostriches) and from there to Kasane the day after. I really enjoyed the company of the guide and the guys. They made me feel comfortable and we shared moments of utter amezement, or just moments of tiredness in the car after hours and hours on the road: these were moments as valuable for me as the safari itself and I'll be eternally grateful for them. It was good to also get to see David the last day: after many weeks of talking online to arrange my trip, it made it more complete to get to know him in person. Ps: great and generous food!

Amazing private game drive with Afrinature Safaris!
I traveled to Chobe with a tour group that was on crowded safari vehicles that didn't allow me to view the wildlife the way I wanted. I was so frustrated, I started looking for a company to provide my friend and I a private game drive. David at Afrinature Safaris was wonderful and set us up with an amazing guide (Innocent). The private game drive allowed us to stop as much as we wanted to look at wildlife, stop the vehicle completely to avoid camera shake while taking photos with a large lens. My photos from the Afrinature game drives were the best photos I took in Botswana! Innocent was extremely knowledgeable on wildlife and we were very excited about his knowledge of the all the bird species. Our experience the first afternoon was so amazing, that we decided to skip our tour group game drive the next morning and book again with Afrinature Safaris and Innocent. I highly recommend contacting David directly to set up a private game drive. It's well worth it!!

        Disappointing Experience
We had been on two other sunset cruises recently that were wonderful. This was a dreadful experience. We were 10 people jammed onto a small, dirty boat. No legroom, no space to maneuver. Small boat was rocked by the waves of virtually all the other cruise boats. We boarded the boat at 3 pm and were taken for registration at the entrance to the Chobe National Park. We eventually left there at 3.40pm. While we sat waiting for our "Captain" to complete the formalities, at least 4 other boats who arrived to do registration after us, completed their formalities and left on their cruises. No explanation for our 20 minute delay was given. We were told we would be offered soft drinks and water on the cruise. Nothing was offered at all. At the end of the trip our "Captain" happily advised us that we were welcome to thank him for the trip (presumably hinting for a tip). ADVICE - ask to see a picture of the boat you will be travelling on before you book and part with your money. This scruffy little boat with torn chair covers would not receive a booking if people saw if before booking.

        Great experience, highly recommended
Very friendly and knowledgable guide who had an answer to every question we had about local animals and culture. Small boat with only 9 of us offering great viewing experience, much better than on bigger boat with large rows of people. Highly recommended

A bad experience safari, bad communication, no personal guts to rectify errors or refund, doesn't answer afterwards.
This tour operator spoiled our vacation and did not take part himself in any activity we booked. Custom planned 5-day tour which was extra expensive. Hired 3rd party safari guide(s) were inexperienced, haven't got briefed by this tour operator. Then got lost completely in parks or on the way to loctions, didn't find the right spots, totally underestimated times necessary as they didn't know where to go, kept spending our expensive booked time with unnecessary perp like shopping - and finally was obviously to proud to admit any mistakes. All Safari equipment was newly bought stuff from our money or rented like vehicle and tends. Accomodations in advance where not booked, flights have been booked incorrectly and in the end there was a total lack of information other than sparse whatsapp messages. Everything on this tour was different from what we booked and paid for or what was promised in writing or on phone. Confronted with all this and asking for refund on phone he kept denying what was obvious - since then doesn't answer phone or messages or any other communicate anymore. Worst of all was the statement that Botswanian people are honest and we will talk about everything once we're back from the trip. We had no other chance as to trust him in the middle of the bush. Well, this obviously wasn't the case... Thanks for nothing...

        Adventure and Natural Beauty
The Vicfalls Daytrip in Botswana was absolutely breathtaking! The tour offered a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty. Witnessing the majestic Victoria Falls up close was an unforgettable experience. The guides were knowledgeable and made the trip informative and fun. We had a thrilling boat safari on the Zambezi River, spotting wildlife along the banks. The highlight was the rainforest walk, getting drenched in the fall's spray. A must-do day trip for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike!
