4-Hour Tonle Sap Sunset Dinner Cruise from Siem Reap
From US$36.00
Tonle Sap Lake is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Cambodia’s largest lake. On this evening tour from Siem Reap, watch the sunset as you cruise around the lotus fields and floating villages of Tonle Sap, and visit a crocodile farm. Hear commentary from your guide along the way, and save money and time making dinner plans, as you’ll enjoy a delicious meal and an open bar onboard a floating restaurant.
What to Expect
After pickup from your Siem Reap hotel, you’ll travel to the port at Chong Kneas by air-conditioned minivan, stopping to admire the lotus fields and rice paddies along the way. On arrival, hop aboard a small boat for a cruise around the floating village of Chong Kneas and gain an insight into local life as you see the stilted houses, floating markets, and schools.
Stop to visit a crocodile and fish farm on the way to your dinner venue—the Queen Tara Floating Restaurant, which is the biggest boat on the lake. Once on-board, tuck into a delicious buffet dinner and make the most of the open bar, as you gaze out over the lake.
After dinner, transfer back to the port by small boat, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your Siem Reap hotel.

not a bad afternoon trip

Not a bad trip but don't expect to much from the food buffet The drinks on the boat were nice ad the peace and quiet after the sun went down was amassing

Nice dinner

It was nice and also the location was great. Food was okay. Also the village that we saw on the way was interesting. It was good because the tour start at 3pm.

Perhaps the wrong time of year

The trip was nice but we got a cloudy evening and the boat struggled due the lack of water in the lake. Unfortunately not the best experience but very friendly staff.

This is a must. Though the river will not give you breathtaking views, it is the beauty of the small things, the tranquility... The guide is top notch, so interesting and willing to make you enjoy your time without intruding. It accommodates small groups, so...More

I visited in October. The weather was hot, but bearable, with occasional afternoon showers. Did not take the lake tour, but visited a connected shore. The water seemed at a normal level. Since this is soon after monsoon I... More
