We had a 10 day tour in which we covered Phnom penh, a drop to sihanoukville and siem reap. Naron and Tee both were excellent and quite accommodating and flexible. - Pradeep S0 contributions5 days and 4 nightsThe hotel stay was excellent along with the car arrangements. The guides were good. The itinerary could have been better . We had two evenings and one morning to ourselves for which we made our own arrangements. Now that I have done this trip of Phnom Penh one day and one night along with four days and three nights of Siem Reep I dont mind helping anyone plan better Food also can be a bit of a challenge especially if you are a veg but thanks to street food and some indian restaurants we managed itWritten 21 August 2019
- Cubbies990 contributionsTour Guide was really AmazingWe went at the end of May which is very dry. So many of the homes were not “floating” and was actually dry and very much on land. Some may say that defeats the point, but it was very interesting to see the village and the life in the village during the dry season. Life changes and the landscape changes during this time. Our guide “Mr. T” was really informative which gave us a chance to really learn about the village life and the impacts that various social economic factors have on life in the village vs. the city. If you want to see the village when it is “floating” it is better to see it after August when the rains have come in and everything is nice and green. We did get to ride in the boat to really floating house (kept afloat by the massive bundles of bamboo tied to it) in the middle of the huge lake and watched the some of the villagers setting up fishing traps in the water. If we get the chance we will definitely do this again during/right after the rainy season so we can see the comparison and the change in the lifestyle during the wet times.Written 5 June 2019

We spent one full day visiting the temple's at Siem Reap. Sopan our guide was wonderful. He took the time to explain the intricacies of the temple's architecture and history. And oh BTW he knows the best spots to take the best pic's. We enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend Sopan as a guide.

Its our first awaited international tour, it's not one day as described above, it's 4 days we did the trip in Sieam Reap which includes, national museum, all major pre and post Angkorian temple's, which are magnificent in terms of ther built, sculptures and natural buity. Each temples are unique by there architecture and forms, we really enjoyed the hospitality to the core and we are very happy by seeing all the major monuments. Our sincere gratitude to our tour guide Mr. Southy who is very cooperative and has good knowledge and familiar about the place, he is really supportive and he not only guide formally explaining about the monuments in the our itenary, he helped us in understanding the really culture and people of Cambodia he also supported us in terms of our food, local transportation, shoping etc,. Our stay in Holy Angor Hotel is really good. Food is delicious and all other amenities are very nice.

If we could give our guide higher scores, we would. Supan was charming, well-versed in the history, and absolutely hysterical! He was prompt with the 8am pick up and he dropped us off at about 4:30 that afternoon. The temples were amazing, and he brought us to a little-known lunch spot that was delish and cool and quiet, so we could catch our breath before we headed to the big angkor Wat tour. After, he brought us to a couple of artist shops to browse, which were top notch. It was super hot but there was plenty of cold water and cool wipes to stay refreshed. Fabulous day with Supan and highly highly recommend.

Glad to have chosen this full day trip via TripAdvisor with excellent customer service from Sareth and comfortable van travel from places to places. The operator made an effort to contact our hotel to notify us the trip’s departure time for the next day instead of us contacting them....really impressed by its service. I highly recommend this trip if you have short stay and want to visit the important historical sites in Siem Reap within a day. It was reasonable priced for our pocket. My group consisted of 8 adults.

I am glad I chose this private tour for our group of 3. We were 2 adults and an 11 year old boy. It was a hot day and it was good to tour around the sites at our own pace. Our guide was Jampat ( hope I got his name right) He is a local Siem Reap and he started the tour with a brief introduction to the history of Cambodia , Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Our first stop was Angkor Thom. We went around the different sites for around 2-1/2 hours. Stories about how life was then and what the sculptures and reliefs meant made us appreciate the ruins and temples more. Next stop was the site of The Tomb Raider. I was a bit underwhelmed by this part of the tour. Maybe it was because of the restorations being made or the number of tourists going around that it was really hard to take ones time to appreciate this site. Last stop for us was Angkor Wat. We were all exhausted by this time that we asked Jampat to just give us a quick tour (we got a 3 day pass and planned to visit again during another day to watch the sunrise). Went around for an hour and half. How it is in photos is how it is in real life. It is grand and magnificent! There were not much people ( this was at 2-3 pm) so was able to walk around and take lots of photos. Learned a lot from this tour thanks to our knowledgeable, animated and caring guide - Jampat.

one off the bucket list...
Hard to describe the Angkor Wat area and give it justice
Its hot ,walking between sites is out of the question for the average person
tuk tuk tours are too dusty and no chance to cool down.
We took this private tour , with guide and driver , air cond SUV, cold water on offer after main stops.
prompt pick up , some flexibility,
good quality restaurant stopover
Siem Reap is charming , people going on their traditional daily lives , no high rises anywhere.

Our tour guide Tip was great, very informative and flexible so we could tailor what we saw and for how long. Really happy we chose a private tour that allowed us to do this. We went to Angkor Wat first when the crowds were fewer. Unfortunately the top levels were closed and this was one of the parts we were looking forward to.
We enjoyed the 'Lara Croft' temple the most and were impressed with the restoration work going into these ruins. The tour was well executed, great lunch, value for money and we were well looked after by Tip and our driver.
Only downside were some of the closures but obviously no reflection on the tour operators!

Kosal is a wonderful guide and took such good care of us during our day tour of the temples. His English is very good but what was most impressive was how he made sure our son, who is 12, have a good experience as well. He made sure our son could be in the shade or have a seat occasionally to keep his energy up in the heat and keep him going for the day. He stayed back with him while my husband and I climbed to the top of the temples. I would highly recommend Kosal to any family traveling with kids. The air conditioning and cold water was a wonderful treat when we would get back to the van to move from sites.

We were picked up by Tip our guide for the day in an air conditioned 4WD. He was helpful and knowledgeable. He was great at taking photos of us in front of the temples and other interesting spots. Nice cold bottled water and fresh wipes for us between temple sites. We set the pace on how long we wanted to stay at each temple. To our guide Tip you were great!!

Hello, I plan on visiting Siem Reap on Sunday and Monday June 2 and 3. I’d like to see all of the temples of ankor wat. Are some of them closed on sundays? Therefore, Monday is the better day to do a tour?
Thank you,
DC
