Phnom Kulen and 1000 Lingas River - Private Day Tour from Siem Reap
From US$59.00
Discover the River of a Thousand Lingas and Phnom Kulen Waterfalls on this guided tour from Siem Reap. You’ll see remote villages and tropical forests, a massive Buddha image, and ancient Khmer carvings, and even stop for a swim in a jungle pool. Hear commentary about the significance of each site, and because it’s a private tour, take plenty of time to ask questions. Enjoy convenient hotel pickup and drop-off.
What to Expect
MMeet a guide at your hotel in Siem Reap, then begin the 2-hour drive to Phnom Kulen in a climate-controlled vehicle, passing a series of local communities and lush forest.
The first stop of the day is a reclining Buddha image cut from a huge sandstone boulder in a hilltop temple that draws pilgrims from around Cambodia. From there, continue to the River of a Thousand Lingas, a riverbed that’s carved with images of phalluses and Hindu gods.
Another sacred site is Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, where you can cool off by swimming in the pool at the base of the falls. Throughout the day, take advantage of your time with a private guide to learn about the sites’ historic and cultural significance, enjoying the flexibility to explore each destination at your own pace.
Your tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel.

Excellent tour

It was an excellent tour and I took many photos. The tour guide, Van lonh, managed time very well and managed to get me to the attractions ahead of other groups to have really good photos before everyone comes. High recommendation.
