We loved the setting, its quiet, at the pond with lots of greenery. Our option was vegetarian and we totally enjoyed it, it was a great introduction to Cambodian cuisine. We visited the market before and it was also very educational.

My boyfriend and I booked the cooking class and both of us were satisfied with the whole experience. First we went to the market and got some stuff. After a short ride with a tuktuk, we arrived at a pretty scenic place. While cooking, we had a nice view at the small lake right next to the building. The staff has been lovely and fun to talk to, and the time passed so fast. The food we did was amazing, and you get a cooking book to take home with even more recipes to try. Loved every minute there. Thank you so much!

Going to the markets was really interesting. Got to see all the different herbs and spices that go into Cambodian cook. The cooking was also fun. Do it!

Fantastic experience! I was the only guest on the day that I went and I didn't mind at all. The chef and my host were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I enjoyed learning how to make the desserts that I have eaten before and I was able to share the sweets that I made with the staff of my organization. I made ginger custard, coconut tuiles, and sticky rice flour balls with palm sugar. I highly recommend Beyond Unique Escapes if you want a change of pace from visiting temples and shopping.

We’ve been traveling for a couple of weeks in Southeast Asia, and this was one of the best tours that we did. The two hosts were delightful, and the food that we cooked was probably one of the best meals that we had. And our two teenage daughters loved it as well. We highly recommended!

The market tour and shopping with Sofia was excellent, and the cooking class with she and Prey was great. Everything was well organised and professional and most importantly we learnt how to prepare and cook ( and eat!!) beautiful local food. Would give this six stars if I could.

Such an amazing experience! The ladies who ran it were funny, knowledgeable, very helpful, patient, and welcoming. They teach you about the cuisine and ingredients and guide you through every step. I learned so much and can’t wait to make these recipes at home. Could not have been a better experience!

These lady’s are fantastic a lot fun and the really know there food! I have done a lot of classes true out Asia, because I am chef and want to learn new cuisine. And this course was one of the beter ones. So good job lady’s! And keep up the good work Thank you for the lovely day 😘

Excellent activity. From the English speaking tuk-tuk driver to the professionally trained Master Chef the whole experience was amazing. All the ingredients were prepared with personal assistance assembiling the meal. An informative tour of the local village market started the experience.

An informative tour of the local open market, with detailed expanations and plenty of photos. The destination for the class was impectable. Clean and fully stocked. The instructor is a 'master chef' that has worked at several local hotels and professionally trained. I enjoyed personal attention and instruction for techniques. The food was delicious. I was impressed with the English skills from the tuk-tuk driver to the instructor. I'd definitely recommend this activity.

The food was amazing, and you got to cook everything yourself it was really hands on. The chef was super helpful and knowledgeable. My guide Sophia was so knowledgeable and took you into the markets and could tell you all about the produce Cambodian life and more. She gave me a personal insight into Cambodian life. The tuk tuk driver hav lim I ended up using for my whole stay in siem reap. He has so much knowledge about Cambodia and hearing his stories is something I will never forget. He organised a private tour for me to ankor watt . The tour was out of this world and the tour guide also had stories I will never forget . This tour has far exceeded my expectations. If you are coming to Cambodia and like cooking this tour Is a must!! And if you want an amazing knowledgeable driver hav lim is the man ! Also I forgot to take pictures of the desert and I half started eating my curry before I remembered . You can tell the food is amazing cause I didn’t even wait to get a picture 😂 I just devoured it

I was in Siem Reap 10 years ago and did exactly the same cooking class with Beyond Unique- came back with husband and enjoyed it as much if not more! The location has changed from the Sojourn Hotel to a different country lakeside. Not quite such perfect setting but still lovely to cook and eat outdoors with the view of the water. The chef and facilitator were amazing- truly made the day. We made fresh spring rolls, chicken curry and banana fritters. Very delicious. Came away (another) recipe book of our afternoon’s work. Very much recommend!
