We booked tickets for this show through our hotel. We understand that it sometimes sells out. The package includes a meal (7.30 pm to 8.30 pm) followed by an hour's performance (8.30pm to 9.30 pm). The meal was good and the gave us the opportunity to chat to our neighbours but it is the performance itself that is the real draw. We watched five dances which gave us an insight into traditional Khmer culture. Some of the dancing was immediately recognisable from the carvings on the temples that we had seen the previous day. They were elegant and expressive. The dancers take years of training to reach this level af skill and artistry. We were honoured to have been able to have this glimpse into a cultural treasure of Cambodia. The music was very strange to Western ears but we got a sense of its subtlety. We'd highly recommend this show.

Overall this was a very nice experience. The different dancing performances and the musiciens were wonderful, the food was also very good and nicely presented, and the setting was lovely in this wooden theatre. However, as much as having the meal while seeing the performances was a special experience, it also meant that the dancing felt more as a background event, less valued than the conversations people had over their meals. I felt as if this wonderful art couldn't be fully appreciated.

This is a must do activity in Siem Reap! It was a great way to learn about the country’s culture and enjoy a fantastic evening!

Fantastic experience and our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble and very polite. The ceremony itself was just beautiful.

We received a warm welcome to the Kanell Dinner show at 7 Makara Street in Siem Reap Cambodia. Our hosts were waiting with cool scented hand towels as we walked past welcoming dancers to our seats. A multi course dinner was served (cocktails not included) which included appetizers, soup, assorted local foods as an entree, and dessert. Live music played as we ate and a very professional set of dancers entertained us. The final set of apsara dancers was our favorite. Their precision was amazing. Their traditional dress was beautiful!At the end of the evening the host and chef came around to each table to see that we enjoyed dinner and the show. For a taste of Cambodia and its traditional dances, this is a stop worth making!

This was an amazing tour the tour guide was knowledgeable, participating, and very kind. His company donates part of the proceeds to the Monks. It was enlightening and spiritual. They are trying to complete construction on the temple. I would do it again it was about a 3 hour tour total with drive time. Denise

This 4-day trip was seriously awesome! We saw all big temples, watched the sunrise at Angkor Wat (mind-blowing!), and went off the beaten path to cool spots like Koh Ker and Beng Mealea. Kulen Mountain had this magical vibe with water flowing over ancient carvings. Loved every bit of it—great guide, epic views, and peaceful temples. Totally worth it!

Excellent show, beautiful dancing, music and costumes. Set meal was substantial and very tasty. A bonus to be picked up and returned to our hotel. All in all a great evening

I wanted to experience an Apsara performance so decided to come to this one. I am very glad I did. The performance was beautiful and captivating. I highly recommend! 10/10!

A sit down meal in tables arranged in the auditorium below the stage followed by a 2 hour traditional dance performance. All spellinding. A testament to fine Cambodian hospitality. The dance techniques were breathtaking. I wouldn’t have missed this for anything.

The food was amazing, and our driver was really helpful with getting us where we had to go! Would definitely recommend it!
