Nice to see how the retired elephants were enjoying their retirement. Hand feeding the elephants was an experience. Tour guide very informative. We did the morning tour and after the tour was served one of the most enjoyable meals of items locally sourced.

          Wonderful rescue sanctuary for elephants
Absolutely loved this experience. After a drive from Siem Reap to the centre, we helped make protein balls and then fed 3 rescued elephants. We felt that the centre had a balance of allowing visitors interaction with the elephants without it becoming exploitative. We helped hose down the elephants after they bathed in the big pool. Everything seemed to be done at the elephants' pace and was mindful of their welfare. We were happy that this place is such a positive final retirement home for the elephants that had been exploited, giving rides to tourists in temples. There were just 9 of us on the tour, so no crowds following the elephants.

          A Bike ride to remember
We are in our 60s, reasonably fit bikers but not hard core so early pick up from hotel was ideal due to heat increasing over the day. Bikes were in good repair but one pedal was dodgy after leaving but the guide quickly swapped bikes with my husband . Give was Very patient with us both. A soft bike seat option would have been helpful but l managed. Aparantly it usually is available! Liked flexibility of time stops to refresh, rest, photos, or chat. Loved hand picked stops with family businesses and biking before and after helped process sights we were seeing. The severity of life there we observed plus calming countryside made it a manageable experience Guide was happy to talk and share opinions and beliefs Drinks and food snack delicious and most welcome..plus cool towels on arrival back to the depot

          Wonderful Waterfall
We had a wonderful afternoon travelling on this tour. Our local guide Bunhak was brilliant. He had excellent English and amazing knowledge of what was his local area. We travelled in a very comfortable air conditioned car and saw some amazing places and views in the mountains. Our highlight was swimming at the waterfall. We would this trip and our excellent local guide Bunhak and his driver.

Bunhak was a fantastic guide (Siem Reap Angkor Wat, Kulen...)
Bunhak was a fantastic guide; he speaks English. We spent several days visiting wonderful places: Siem Reap, the temples of Angkor Wat, kulen, villages, local markets... We were 3 friends. Bunkak is very friendly and attentive. He organizes excursions to your liking, according to your interests and the days you are going to be in the area. He is cultured and is always willing to explain the history of each corner. Plus, he knows how to take very good photos. Very nice experience and I really recommend him.

Amazing day away from the temples with the best guide!
We had such a great day visiting the Kulen mountain area. Bunhak was our guide for the day and he was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and so warm and welcoming to our group. He made the tour! We drove maybe an hour from Siem Reap to the first stop, where we had a few beautiful viewing point of the valley. Then we went to visit the waterfall. I got beautiful pictures but none of us had a suit on so we didn't jump in. You can swim in the pools. We had a nice lunch at a local spot. Then we went to this ancient cave temple. For me, that was the highlight of the day. We ended the day at a temple further up the mountain and watched the sun set. It was absolutely beautiful!!! My friends and I had the best time with Bunhak and he takes amazing photos of you all day! Make sure to ask for him as your guide.

          HORRIBLE!!
RUN!! Its a better bet to pay a dollar or two more and see the performances at the Somadevi Angkor Hotel, or ANYWHERE else. BUT Here!! Its NOISY, the food is less than average, that is, if you get to eat any (they do not replenish the buffet) and the staff are rude, starting with the Manager Mr. Senh!!!! Like i said RUN, RUN away. The performances are average, Nothing to remember

Beautiful experience -lovely show and great food
Beautiful show-wonderful food- 5 star service and presentation of food lovely-the servers were what you would expect in a upscale restaurant-I’m not sure why people leave so-so or bad reviews- for what you are paying and all that you get with a show and fabulous service what more do you want?

          Like the dancing
Foods might not be good to someone. But for my family and I we don't like it. The dancers are professional. And they are so young I guess they all coming from Art School or something. But anyhow we enjoyed the shows.

          Worst company ever!
I really enjoyed the Apsara performance and the buffet was good, there are plenty of options food wise. Sadly the only thing that let the night down was the company it's booked through. They were meant to pick me up from the venue and didn't turn up, then they said "sorry our driver has gone home now", worst service ever! You can book it straight through the restaurant anyway for cheaper and make your own way there.

The food was Ok but the Apsara Dance Performance was good
The performance was good but the tourists were rude and got in everybody's way to observe the performance. I was so very frustrated that I finally just stood in the front by the side so that I could see. The food came up in staggered way from table to table.

          Very enjoyable evening
The evening started with a tuk-tuk pick up at my hotel. I wasn't sure where we were going and we drove about half way towards the airport to a very nice event venue. After entering I was given a seat at a long table near the stage and soon a buffet diner was available with a very large and delicious selection of Asian and Western food. After about 45 minutes the dance performance began. It was a wonderful mixture of classical and folk Khmer dance. Several of the performers were quite skilled. The performance lasted about an hour and was very enjoyable. When it was over most of the hundreds of people got in large tour buses and left. I found my driver who took me back to my hotel. A very enjoyable night at a very reasonable price.

          Cambodia Private Tours
Angkor Focus Travel have arranged our 3 days private tour through Cambodia. Mr. Mak Borei was our guide. He knows the best way to avoid crowds and best spots for photo. If you hate big tour groups, treasure flexibility and tour at your own pace, you should sign up for private tours. I found Angkor Focus Travel through Google search. After couple of emails to finalize the cost/itinerary, Mr. Borei met us at Siem Reap airport after flight from Bangkok. The 3 days were full and enjoyable. Mr. Borei took many photos for us. Highly recommend this travel agency.
