        Excellent luxury private tour company
I highly recommend working with this tour company for all your needs in exploring Cambodia. From the moment we landed at the airport until the last day when we were dropped off at the airport, the service has been so professional and polite. Even before I arrived in this beautiful country, Mr Anh was very swift and responsive with all my inquiries and worked within my budget. The lunches that the agency arranged for us were very good places with amazing food and customer service. The tour guides with their drivers that met us at both cities were educational and spoke English that we could easily understand. Everything went very smooth as planned. Thank you very much! My family had the most amazing time in Cambodia. Orkun!!!!!

Fabulous 5* hotels at each destination
My sister and I (both in our 70s) had a fabulous time in Vietnam and Cambodia. We had 5* hotels throughout - Mai House in HCMC, Shinta Mani Angkhor and Bensley in Siem Reap, Hotel Royal, Hoi Ann, Azerai La Residence in Hue, La Siesta Hang Thung in Hanoi, and Dragon Legend cruise boat Halong Bay. Surprisingly one highlight of our holiday was the Vespa tour we had.  We were both terrified at first but we were in safe hands. Our tour guide, Long, was excellent. He introduced us to Vietnamese street food that was delicious. It was an evening to soak up the atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City finished off with a cocktail in a Skybar with panoramic views of the city - it was a truly memorable evening. All the hotels far exceeded our expectations. If we were to give any advice to other travellers we would recommend they extend their trip to incorporate a few rest days at each location to enable them to enjoy the facilities at the hotels and to revive their energy. We were torn between not wanting to miss anything in the programme whilst at the same time feeling very weary.  We were grateful that our guides were proactive and amended our programme when necessary i.e. dawn at Ankhor Wat was scheduled for our first day in Cambodia but our flight to Siem Reap was later than planned so it was 10pm by the time we arrived at our hotel. Our guide, Rith, suggested we postpone Ankhor Wat to the day after which worked very well.  We think it would be useful to alert travellers to the fact that, particularly in Cambodia, US $ need to be pristine. We didn't know and some of the ones we got from British banks were rejected which caused us a few problems. Mr Ann at Global Travel and Tours Asia was super speedy and attentive to our every enquiry and requirements. We would unreservedly recommend using him and would have no hesitation in contacting him for future trips.

        Global Travel Asia Deserves A+++
Hello All, I wanted to share a comprehensive review of our recent Vietnam and Cambodia vacation, using Global Travel Asia as our travel agent. My husband and I, 63 and 57 years old, have traveled a lot, and I can honestly say, by far, this was our best trip thus far! Global Travel Asia is a serious and high quality option for all travels considering a trip to Vietnam and/or Cambodia. I felt that Mr. Ann and his team listened carefully to what our travel style was, our likes and dislikes, and then customized a trip of a lifetime for us that was superb in every way! Here is a breakdown of our journey: Day 1-2: We flew from Los Angeles, California to Phnom Penh, South Cambodia via Business Class. We flew Asiana Airlines, per Mr. Ann, and our flights were spectacular in every sense of the word. Our flights were on time and the food and service were top-notch. Upon arrival at the Phnom Penh airport, our private guide was waiting for us. He and the driver helped us with our luggage and transported us to our hotel, La Rose Suites, where we checked into our Junior Suite Room. Within minutes of our arrival, we fell in love with La Rose Suites, the staff and our accommodations. We were very pleased to learn that Global Travel Asia had also arranged for complimentary massage sessions for my husband and I. This was a special treat indeed. We were given the rest of the day and the next to acclimate to the time change and relax, as well as familiarize ourselves with our surroundings. The La Rose Suites staff was outstanding in every sense of the word. Day 3: Global Asia Travel arranged for our private tour guide and driver to take us to the historical “Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.” This was indeed a somber and memorable tour. We also visited Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (former Security Prison 21 (S-21). Our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about this time in history, having lived through it himself. Global Asia Travel could not have arranged for a better day for us in Cambodia, as my husband and I love learning about culture and history above all else. Day 4: Today our same private guide picked us up and took us on a city tour of Phnom Penh. We visited the Royal Palace, National Museum, Wat Phnom (Buddhist Temple), and several other interesting stops. Our guide services, including our driver, were top-notch professionals and we feel strongly that Global Travel Asia provided nothing but the highest quality services and itinerary for us. Day 5: As part of our customized itinerary, created by Global Travel Asia, we were next transferred to a 3 night cruise on the “Jahan” cruise ship. This was our opportunity to visit the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. This was very smart of Global Travel Asia, and my husband and I can see how it was easily the best way to experience this part of the world. The “Jahan” was luxurious and fun all the way. There are only 26 cabins on the ship and therefore, 52 people, or 26 couples. We had an absolutely wonderful time and this was indeed a once in a lifetime experience. We checked in early on Day 5, got situated in our cabin, and enjoyed the rest of the day cruising the Mekong Delta and getting to know the staff and our fellow travelers. Day 6: Our first official stop on the Jahan was in the Sa Dec Province, and the small village town of Tan Chau. Here we took a “xeloi” (taxi) drive through the streets to observe workshops, houses, shops. What an experience! We were so happy that Global Travel Asia understood our love for culture and experiencing life as the locals do. We also visited the local market and the town’s temple. We loved this special day! Day 7: Today the Jahan took us, via small boat, to a floating fish farm and then later in the day to My An Hung, another small town on the Mekong Delta. The My An Hung village is an example of a real local village in the Mekong Delta. Time stands still here and we visited the private household of a local family and visited the seasonal vegetable fields to see what they were currently cultivating. We were invited to a family’s house for a Vietnamese tea tasting. The family presented a huge variety of fruits growing in the delta. An artist group also performed a traditional, artistic dragon dance, while we snacked. We ended the day back on the Jahan for cocktails and dancing. Day 8: On this day, we traveled to Binh Thanh Island and started out visiting one of the water hyacinth farms. Wandering through the village, we got a deep understanding of native life. One of the local artisans, for example, demonstrated the process of traditional mat making. We also met a local elderly couple who shared their story of living on this island. Back on the ship, lunch was served as we sailed towards Cai Be. This town is famous for its Catholic French church and the manufacturing of traditional crafts and food products. The once enormous floating market of Cai Be gets smaller year by year since trading on the water is continually shifting towards modern markets. We took a small boat and sailed along the green canal network and watched the farmers working. Then we went ashore to visit a workshop where we learned about the manufacturing of rice paste, rice paper, rice cookies and rice wine. Cai Be’s surrounding areas are covered by palm trees, which is why the region is also famous for the production of coconut candy. Day 9: It was now time to disembark the Jahan, and although we were sad to say goodbye to our newfound friends, Global Travel Asia had more wonderful plans in store for us. Once we disembarked the Jahan, a new private guide and driver were waiting for us. They loaded our luggage and transferred us to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon). Upon arrival in the city we ate lunch at a local restaurant, then visited the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office & Reunification Palace. We also visited the Ben Thanh Market, where, with the help of our private guide we got to try our hand at bartering prices with the locals. We purchased lots of fun items in the market, and felt we did okay at our negotiations skills. Ha! After checking into our hotel, the beautiful Caravelle Saigon, we rested up in preparation of our evening adventures. Global Travel Asia arranged an evening Vespa (scooter) and food tour for us. This was absolutely the best experience and something that will bring a smile to our faces for as long as we live. Tourists must see this city at night, with all its beautiful lights, and there is no better way to do this than on the Vespa food tour. We tasted exotic foods and brews in the city. Day 10: Today our guide took us to visit the War Remnants Museum & the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Tortoise Pagoda). As previously mentioned, my husband and I are very interested in local culture and history, so we were thankful that Global Travel Asia thought to add in these wonderful opportunities as part of our private itinerary. Also, as part of the day, we visited the FITO Museum, which was very cool. This is a museum of traditional Vietnamese medicine. We absolutely loved this off the beaten spot and were thankful for Global Travel Asia’s knowledge of the opportunities available to us. In the p.m. we visited the Cu Chi Tunnels, which were one of the highlights of our vacation, although very serious and troubling to learn the Vietnamese and American stories that are associated with them. In the evening, Global Travel Asia arranged for us to fly to Central Vietnam. We took a short, domestic flight, via Vietnam Airlines, to Da Nang, where we were once again met by a private tour guide and driver. We were loaded up and transported to Hoi An, Vietnam and the Anantara Hoi An Resort. This resort was simply lovely, and probably our favorite spot along the way. However, it is hard to say, because Global Travel Asia did such an incredible job planning our itinerary for us! Day 11: This morning our guide took us on a city tour of Hoi An, which is an Unesco World Heritage Site. We walked throughout the city and local market, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, The Old House of Phun Hung, and the Fukien Assembly Hall. We also visited the Old House of Tan Ky. All of these historical locations are full of rich Vietnamese and Chinese history, and my husband and I enjoyed the time with our guide immensely. Global Travel Asia even thought to reserve a Cyclo (three-wheeled tricycle taxi) tour for us as well! This same evening we boarded a riverboat along the Thu Bon River to see the city from a different vantage point and visit a boat-building village. The beautifully lit lanterns were such a wonderful treat and truly a highlight of our trip. After a wonderful, local Vietnamese lunch, Global Travel Asia gave us some informal, personal time to just stop and enjoy this beautiful historic town on our own. My husband visited a local tailor and had very nice clothes custom made, while I enjoyed eyebrow shaping and souvenir shopping. This was a perfect day, and we were so happy that Global Travel Asia, once again, was knowledgeable and intelligent about the area we were visiting and what type of experiences we endeavored. This is because Mr. Ann, our agent, listened to our desires and then designed the itinerary to fit our needs. This evening, Global Travel Asia also arranged for my husband and I to visit the Hoi An Memories Show. What a wonderful surprise! We loved every minute of this light and water show. It was full of culture and true beauty! Day 12: Today was another real joy. We started the day out by riding bikes through the beautiful countryside and rice fields. We visited a small village where the locals were farming organic vegetables and herbs. We had such a great time interacting with the locals and trying our hands at farming. After lunch, we headed out to My Son Sanctuary. This was a beautiful and very mysterious type location. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the ruins. Global Travel Asia arranged for us to fly to Northern Vietnam this afternoon on another domestic flight, so on the way to the airport we stopped at Thanh Ha Pottery Village. This was such fun to watch the locals create beautiful pottery. Of course, we purchased a few items too. Upon arrival in Hanoi, another private guide and driver was waiting to transport us to the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel in the beautiful and historic french quarter. These accommodations were nothing short of superior! Thank you once again Global Travel Asia! Day 13: Our private guide and driver met us for a full day of touring the beautiful city of Hanoi. We visited Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, Hanoi Opera House, “Hanoi Hilton,” and so much more! After another traditional Vietnamese lunch, we took a cycling ride through the old quarter, visited the 36 Streets and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. This evening, Global Travel Asia had arranged for another wonderful cultural surprise. We had tickets awaiting us for the Thang Long Water Puppet Show. This was probably one of my favorite experiences of our whole trip. Day 14: There is nothing that Global Travel Asia didn’t think of for this itinerary. Today our private guide and driver transported us to the beautiful “Ginger” ship where we spent two days and one night exploring the gorgeous Ha Long Bay area of Northern Vietnam. The views were stunning and the staff on the Ginger were extraordinary in every way. Everyone should experience this journey in their lifetime and I highly recommend you book your holiday itinerary with Global Travel Asia because they certainly know what they are doing! Once on board, we set off with a special lunch where we watched the chefs preparing the food, 360 degree views everywhere. After lunch, we had free time on the ship to enjoy the amenities. Global Travel Asia had arranged for another special surprise and treat…we had $100 ship board credit! I took advantage of massage services which were wonderful. We were traveling towards a special village, Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival, we hopped on bicycles for some leisurely pedaling along small, paved roads towards the Viet Hai village. Little has changed here since the ancestors of the nearly 100 households settled here centuries ago. Situated in a valley within the Cat Ba National Park and surrounded by thick forest and mountains, the locals are isolated from the island’s other villages and towns. The only access is via sea. We had a glimpse of local households, a collection of farming equipment of days past and present and tasted some locally made wine. We then headed back on board the Ginger to set sail again and participate in an interactive cooking class. The rest of the afternoon and evening was free time to enjoy the ship. In the evening we had some fun fishing for squid with the staff. Day 15: This morning we lifted anchor and cruised to “Frog Lake.” Here we explored the area via kayaks. After some time paddling around, we headed back to Hanoi. Our driver and guide were waiting for us at the harbor when we disembarked the Ginger and transported us back to Hanoi where we stayed one more night at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Day 16: Today was a magical day! Our guide and driver met us in the morning and took us to the town of Ninh Binh. On arrival we took a rowing board to visit the Trang An EcoTourism Area. This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited on this beautiful planet. After visiting Trang An, we headed to Hoa Lu Temple where we learned more Vietnamese history. Global Travel Asia had arranged one more domestic flight for us, traveling back to Cambodia, but this time to Northern Cambodia and the Siem Reap area. Our guide and driver delivered us safely to the airport, ensured we were able to check in for our flight with no problems and then we were off for our next and final destination. I wanted to give a shout out to Global Travel Asia at this point in the itinerary. This is because Mr. Ann was very smart to recognize we were traveling during the Vietnamese New Year time. He very astutely created an itinerary that allowed us to visit all that Vietnam has to offer, but also had us back in Cambodia before the New Year celebrations and festivities began. Thank you Global Travel Asia! We heard many stories from other travelers who had been stuck in Vietnam when the entire country shuts down to celebrate their new year. We were very thankful that you had considered all of that in the itinerary you designed just for us! When we arrived in Siem Reap, once again a private driver and guide were waiting for us to transport us to the beautiful Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Villas. Day 17: There are not enough adjectives to describe what a pleasant place Siem Reap truly is. This morning our guide and driver were waiting to take us to the famous Angkor Wat ruins. We entered the Angkor Thom South Gate (Khmer Ruins) We spent a wonderful day touring sites such as Bayon Temple, Baphuon,Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, and so much more! After lunch we also visited ruins such as Phimeanakas, Then, very cool locations such as Ta Prohm and Banteay Srei. By the end of this day we were completely satisfied. My husband and I love to climb around in old ruins, forests, jungles, etc. This day was perfect and included all of that and more! We went back to our hotel, exhausted and dirty and absolutely content with all the day had to offer! We showered, rested, and even used the hotel’s pool for a while. Once again Global Travel Asia had planned for a cultural treat for us. We were heading off to the Cambodian circus this evening. I truly cannot say which cultural experience was our favorite throughout this itinerary. They were all amazing! Global Travel Asia had once again selected an A+++ experience for us. My husband and I loved every minute of this evening. Day 18: Today we set off to visit more of the beautiful archeological sites that Siem Reap has to offer. On our way, we stopped at a local village to visit families who were producing palm sugar. Of course, we purchased lots of fun souvenirs and tasty treats during this stop. We saw much more of the Angkor Wat ruins today. I cannot remember the name of all the stops, but just know they are extraordinary in every sense of the word! We also visited Kbal Spean where we took a small jungle trek to see the ancient river carvings. This too was a magical experience. Cambodia has so much beauty to offer and we would never have known this if it hadn’t been for Global Travel Asia! Day 19: Today our private guide and driver took us to visit a floating fishing village known as Kompong Pluk. We boarded a pirogue (small boat) to visit Kompong Phluk. We stopped and visited a family in the village and learned so much information about how these people live and make a living. This was extremely cultural and fascinating! When we returned to Siem Reap, we rested for a while and then headed out for Beng Mealea. This was a true Indiana Jones experience, and again, because it was full of adventure, exercise and mystery, my husband and I loved it! We then drove to Koh Ker where we visited the Prasat Thom Temple. We had time later in the day for Cambodian massage and fun on Pub Street back in Siem Reap. It was a fabulous last evening. We celebrated with new friends, wonderful food and drinks, and we were completely relaxed and happy with our adventures. Day 20: Although it was time to travel back to Los Angeles at the conclusion of our holiday, Global Travel Asia had one more cultural experience planned for us. Before being transferred to the airport, we did some shopping at Le Artisans D’Angkor. This organization’s purpose is to educate young Cambodians in the skills of woodcarving, stone carving, lacquer ware and silk weaving, and provide them the opportunity to market their products. Of course we picked up some last minute souvenirs before heading to the airport. Our first flight was from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, and we were so thrilled that Mr. Ann, from Global Asia Travel, along with his beautiful family, were able to meet us at the airport to say hello and wish us well on our journey home. This was such a wonderful and special opportunity. From the beginning of our inquiries with Mr. Ann and his company, Global Travel Asia, until the final day we flew home, we felt a deep and personal connection with this gentleman. I give Global Travel Asia and Mr. Ann the highest recommendation I can possibly give them and I have the deepest respect for his professionalism. My husband and I conservative by nature and think long and hard before booking vacation plans. However, Mr. Ann and his team made us feel so comfortable from the start that it was easy to want to move forward with our plans, knowing he was building our itinerary. Mr. Ann never disappointed us one time! If you are thinking about visiting Vietnam and Cambodia, I definitely recommend you reach out to Global Travel Asia and Mr. Ann to help you with your plans. You will not be sorry!

        Fantastic tour of Cambodia
We chose Global Tours for our 6 days in Cambodia because of their thorough itinerary and excellent communication as we evaluated tour providers. Mr Ann was quick to answer every question and offered our tour for a fair price. When we arrived in we were greeted by a friendly guide (Reet) and driver (Nora) who took us to many temples and gave us personal attention and in-depth explanations of the history, religions, and culture over our 3 days in Sim Reap. Overall, we received excellent service, the included meals were outstanding and the hotels were first class quality with amazing staff. His English was excellent as he was a HS English teacher. Our included flight from Sim Reap to Phnom Penh was cancelled but Mr Ann was excellent as we figure out alternative flights - even offering to have a car drive us the 6 hours if the rescheduled flight didn’t happen. He picked us up at the airport late at night and took us to our wonderful hotel. He could not have been more accommodating to our every need. Our guide and driver in Phnom Penh were also excellent as were the restaurants and hotel. In short, we can highly recommend Global tours for excellent service, quality, and value for your travel needs.

An adventurous day at the province.
Spent the day with my husband, but due to the lack of attendees, the driver arranged a trip to the destination with a smaller car, a Prius—which was surprisingly neat and comfortable. Went to Phnom Chhnogk cave temple, Kampot pepper farm, the market at Kep and spending a pretty relaxing day. Well much needed after staying at the city in my opinion. And our guide had taken us to a seaside restaurant with delicious crabs!

Day tour that provides access to key part of the city
Great day tour with Sam Ang. We covered all key parts of the town in comfortable van and the tour was paced well. Sam is extremely knowledgeable guide who has previously worked as a teacher in the local international school. He also provided the unique insight to local history and the political situation of the times gone. Highly recommend. Only downside was that the royal palace was shut at short notice on the day! 😳

Angkor Wat is the most amazing historical site
Angkor Wat is the most Amazing historical site. No wonder it has been named the one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We hired a private tour guide and he's the best. He speaks fluent English and very knowledgeable of the history. He's well educated, and he has worked as a teacher and also a very good photographer and he has helped us take a lot of photos. I highly recommend Mr. Sithon 092957339. His Facebook name is Angkor Mysterious Wonderland.

        The Best!
I am a travel agent in the United States and we used Global Travel and Tour Asia for our pre-cruise tour in Cambodia and our post-cruise tour in Vietnam. The services that were provided were excellent. Everything, from the booking process, to itinerary modifications, to the tours were absolutely perfect. The tour guides were excellent. I highly recommend this agency for all of your Southeast Asia booking. I have been in the travel industry for 30 years and can say that this company is one of the best to partner with.

A little bit more money, but definitely worth it
We just had this fantastic 12 day trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. You will have your own private local tour guide, a driver and a car in every city. It’s a little bit more money, but definitely worth it. You don’t have to waste your precious time there in waiting for other people or share resources with them. The local tour guide all speaks good English and are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, especially our Hanoi guide, Michael and our Siem Reap guide, Rith did an excellent job! Another thing is the hotels are all the very nice local ones, I will say 4/5 stars. The room has good view too.

Great Customized Trip to Thailand and Cambodia
Thanks to Mr Ann of Global Travel and Tours Asia for putting together a great trip to Thailand and Siem Reap. Everything ran smoothly, we really liked the hotel choices, and all the guides were terrific. Words can not describe the efficiency, warmth, personal attention, outstanding guides, as well as wonderful itineraries the offer. Mr Ann Hoeun is a total professional when it comes to planning your tour. His response time is almost immediate to any questions you might have. Should I ever travel again to any region the Global Travel and tours Asia covers, be assured I will not consider any other travel company. Mr Ann is the best!

        Wonderful experience!
We booked the 3 day Phnom Penh & Siem Reap tour through Viator, and Global Travel & Tours Asia arranged the trip for us. This was a great way to see some of the highlights in Cambodia in just a few days. We really enjoyed Phnom Penh, and our guide Owen (I'm not sure how to spell his name) was absolutely lovely. He spoke English well, was passionate about his work and we learned quite a bit about the country through just talking with him. Seeing the temples in Siem Reap was remarkable, and our guide Rith was so great. He spoke English well and brought so many great stories and personality to the entire experience. Both hotels that were booked for us were great. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience, and we would love to return to Cambodia and use this company again.
