The trip is 70% on the boat and 30% on a tiny bit of island where lots of locals try to sell you something. It feels more like an ugly port market than a Caribbean paradise.

We had the most lovely day. We went during the week. They couldn't do enough for us.The usual massage ladies on the beach. Nice pool.

They were very professional, communicative and accommodating. They allowed me to complete the trip on two separate days, since I was staying in Barranquilla for a few days before continuing the trip to Cartagena, all without extra charge. Perfect for traveling from Santa Marta to Barranquilla to Cartagena. Very comfortable vehicles and at a great price.

I took this trip with my partner today, and it was bizarre from start to finish. Firstly, the pictures are inaccurate at best. We waited 90 minutes at the port to be collected, nobody had any record of our reservation and nobody helped us at all, the people at the port were downright rude. There were only 5 people on this "tour" and there was no guide or anything. Eventually, we set off 90 minutes later, only to arrive at the island to the empty hotel pool area and be questioned in Spanish as to why we were there. The tour provider, Serviexpress, took our money and didnt tell anyone we were arriving. We felt really awkward, unwelcome and upset and immediately wanted to go home again. The boat journey was 10 minutes of intense fear. We ordered some drinks and water and when I went to pay the guy at reception overcharged me. The beach was fine, the food was good and there were a couple of very pleasant members of staff. Overall, don't waste your money and fall for this scam!

The 5 Islands tour to the Islas del Rosario does not meet our expectation at all. Here I want to write all the negative points: 1. We book the tour especially because of the Plankton tour in the evening. Unfortunately the tour was at the New Year's eve and one hour before starting the tour, the operator, at whom we booked the tour, told us, that Plankton will not take place. Sorry, but I expect, that the operator knows it before and tells us before booking. I really felt betrayed from her. And if she does not know it better or does not have the experience , I would expect, that she gets a better training for her job. 2. It is a speed boat with which you drive and there is less place and you sit very close to other foreign people, what especially in the Covid-time is very uncomfortable. 3. For the 2 snorkeling places with the plane of Pablo Escobar or at a nice reef, we only had 10 minutes snorkeling time, but at the party island Cholon, where the cook tail prices start at 40.000 COP and ends at 125.000 COP, which are much too high for Columbia we spent 1 hour, so that the tour guide can receive a commission. 4. For snorkeling you only get a mask and no snorkel, the excuse is that they are not allowed to give snorkels because of Covid. But come on, what should the diving schools do and then the snorkeling mask can also be contaminated. Just a bad excuse. We should not touch the reef which I take for granted, but the boat anchored on the reef. Very inconsistent our tour guide, isn't it? 5. The reason why the tour guide told us not to go to Plankton was that on New Year's Eye there is a lot of traffic at 9 pm, our arrival time in Cartagena and we would need 2 hours to the hotel. But sorry, when we came back at 4 pm it was much more traffic than in the evening at 9 pm? Again a bad excuse. All in all it was a really waste of time and we regrett to do this tour. It is really not comparable with the great boat tours in Thailand. These was all the bad things. One good thing is that the tour operator refund us the money for Plankton without discussion and seems to be aimed to help us.

Avoid the island. Everyone just focuses on non Spanish speaking people to cheat them. A bunch of fraudsters on each island. They will offer you drinks and bring an super inflated bill later.

A beautiful place to spend a few nights in the Rosario Islands. My family had a great time snorkeling, scuba diving, visiting the aquarium and laying my the pool. Excellent food and drinks as well! Staff was so kind and helpful!

There are different offerings for this tour. Ours just was a little uncomfortable. The hype guy was great and they do many stops but I really didn't care fir most of them.

Terrible experience a lot of fraud going on. Tour guides tried to finesse money out of you, make sure u know Spanish.

As expected, just about everything was extra. Main problem - although the description said Spanish and English - all information was in Spanish. English was never spoken or,offered, although the organizers knew I was a stupid American. Fortunately I was with a friend who could translate.

My friends and I used Serviexpress twice, and both times I was impressed by the punctuality and safety of the service. We reserved a private van for the 6 of us Cartagena-Santa Marta then used a shared service Santa Marta-Cartagena. The price is reasonable, the door to door service convenient and the drivers friendly. All the booking was done via WhatsApp and they were flexible regarding timings and payements, which we greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Serviexpress :)

This was a pleasant little resort and a fair price for escaping the heat of Cartagena. On value for the price I gave it four stars. I demoted one star because of the extremely loud music (over the top loud, in my opinion) from the resort adjacent. Not this resort's fault. I asked the reception to see if he could get the volume reduced, and he did, just a smidge. The changing room was basically a small bath. Towels were provided, which was nice. The free lunch was decent; free coffee and one juice also. Other food could be purchased. A good family place.
