Marvelous tour and fantastic tour guide. Jera Guardo is very knowledgeable and cordial in her craft. There's no pressure to buy anything. They sent a van to pick us up from our hotel accommodation, which is Dreams Karibana, a 30-minute drive from the museum. The history was moving, how these indigenous people worked hard to make luxury jewelry for us. The piece that I chose was a gift from my hubby of 29 years and counting. My birthstone is also emerald, so, he shot two birds with one stone. I call it serpentine emerald bracelet. I love it! Thank you Jera!

This is a cute small exhibition that is done within 15-20min. Jessica gave a very nice tour and answered all our questions.

The hands on aspect was so fun and engaging. We had snacks, cold drinks, and a sparkling wine toast at the end of the presentation. Ricardo was so informative and able to help even the most novice of us to understand.

Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly easy to work. Worked with me while shopping and working within price range!

Daniel R. was our excellent tour guide and salesman. He is bilingual English/Spanish and explained all aspects of emerald mining to emerald cuts. There was no high pressure sales tactics….he was very patient and friendly

We arrived to this half museum, half jewelry store with a group. We had a guide who spoke excellent English show us around the museum explaining where emeralds are found, how they are mined and how to rate the quality of them. It was very well displayed with descriptions in both English and Spanish. Of course, the tour ended in the jewelry store where you could ask additional questions and make a purchase if you wanted.

We were given a tour guide for a walk through the small museum. The tour guide is actually a sales rep that will encourage you to buy some jewelry at the end of the about 30-40 minute walkthrough. The history information and displays were very interesting. We did not buy anything.

We had the most wonderful experience today at Caribe Emeralds here in Centro Cartagena. Our sales person, Darlene, was just great. Friendly, patient, professional and spent a lot of time with us helping us and made our purchase so very pleasant. We were never pressured and only educated about the magnificent emeralds in the store. If you visit beautiful Cartagena and want to purchase the finest emeralds, by all means, visit Caribe and seek out Darlene.

John did a great job explaining the history of Colombia’s emeralds. Great displays and a wonderful array of jewelry at the finale.

nice museum and free tour if you come directly. jorge give us the tour and he was very knowledge and explain everything and answers all our questions. very interesting to understand how the esmerald are extracted and conveyed in to nice pieces.
