Day lost with this commercial attraction. Commercial tents everywhere, even on the top of rock. Crowded by the tourists and tents. We took a boat ride in the lake, also disappointing, nothing to see except fancy villas, what are not interesting to us. Worst day in Colombia.

We took the Guatape day tour with Luis and had a great time exploring the area. He chose great spots for us to stop at and we enjoyed the freedom we were given throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and even took us on a last minute boat tour as we passed through Guatape. The price was very reasonable and worth it for a whole day experience for a group of 6 like ours, highly recommend!

Great service,if you need a guide to your medellin and all around Luis and his guys are the best don’t hesitate to contact them,they’re efficient ,have a lots of knowledge of the history of Medellin and it surrounded areas. Always pick you up on time if you want to go to the airport if you wanna go and see the city or if you want to go anywhere, they are the people you have to call, they are very knowledge they speak Spanish. And English and they give you all the tricks to go around , if you have a friend or family that is coming to Medellin you should absolutely contact them is worth every penny, and you feel secure with them. We booked our trip at the last minute (the day before), and Luis was very accommodating! He arrived at 8am for a timely pickup, and we had a wonderful day of history, fun stop off points, and a great time in Guatape. Be sure to let your guide know of your interests right off the bat so they can adjust the itinerary to suit your preferences. Luis was very easy to work with, highly proficient in English, and allowed our family to have a fabulous day outside of Medellin.

We had the privilege to have Luis as a guide. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He was welcoming, pleasant, helpful, patient. He is a great communicator and he knows Medillin inside and out. He took us to a petting zoo, old Peñol, La Piedra, a very nice restaurant named Donde Sam where we had the best food in Colombia,. Then we walked the beautiful, colorful city where we purchased leather goods, had some coffee and dessert and took great pictures to cement our memories. It was a wonderful day, and the Guatapé tour with Luis has my highest recommendation.

Mauricio did an excellent job with our tour of Comuna 13. He knows everyone and will introduce you to great food and explain the history of the neighborhood and the art. He also gave us great recommendations as we drove around Medellín. Luis provided great transportation for our large group to the airport. Everything was super easy, convenient, and a lot of fun. Definitely hire these guides, they are worth it.

Our trip with Johnny was fantastic! Opting for a private tour was definitely the right choice for us. We enjoyed leisurely stops at various places, including the llama farm, climbing up the big rock, a boat trip with sightseeing and relaxing-and a delightful lunch with local flavour. Johnny provided insightful commentary on the history of Guatapé without making us feel rushed. Highly recommend this experience!

Guatapé is beautiful. Nice trip. Enjoyed our time there. Visited the town and climbed the 700 steps. Food was great as well.
