Terrific!!! Kevin was a great tour guide, very friendly and attentive to all the little details. My mom is vegan so he asked (while we were climbing El Peñol) for vegan options. My mom loved the restaurant. The coffee farm tour was organized well and was very informative. At no point did we feel like we were rushed and were able to fit everything well. From the climb, to the walking tour of Guatapé, to the coffee farm and the boat tour everything was really good. Highly recommend Kevin and his company, Inside Colombia!

Wow I’ve done two tours with Kevin “the comuna 13” and “the Guatapé tour” and both of them were incredible. It was such an amazing experience that I could share with my friends and family. Both tours were informative but at the same time enjoyable. It is worth the money because you will feel at home and Kevin will be your best tour guy ever. If I go back to Medellin I will definitely do the rest of the tours that INSIDE Colombia offers :)

Kevin was a fantastic guide to have for 'La communa 13' and 'Guatape - Piedra del Peñol'. He is very knowledgeable about the history and really does make you appreciate and understand every little bit! He's very friendly, very patient and great to have around. Kevin was an excellent tour guide and the day was very long, but fantastic!! The coffee tour was a small, local farm with passionate owners. We now have great respect for coffee and how much work it is to get a cup of joe!! One thing to know is that it is a challenging hike down to the farm, wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots and long lite pants. Guatape was absolutely beautiful, the town was adorable and the rock was so much fun to climb. It looks very intimidating, but take your time and you will be very happy you made it to the top. Kevin was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient. Private tours are the best way to go with a family, as you set the schedule and go at your own pace. We will cherish this very special day!!!

Don’t hesitate to book with inside colombia. We had Kevin as our guide and he was knowledgeable and gave us exactly what we wanted. We even booked the Guatape tour with him as well and that was also fantastic!

We did the Pablo Escobar tour, Communa 13, and the cable cars with Kevin as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, spoke perfect English and gave us a local and honest perspective from someone whose roots are in Medellin. The tour was flexible, we never felt rushed and his knowledge and connection to the communities we visited was apparent throughout. Would highly recommend!

We are SO happy we decided to do this tour. Kevin was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had and he made it very easy to join last minute. He picked us up right at our door and dropped us off at the end. Kevin did an amazing job of explaining all the different perspectives of Pablo, and it helped us understand Colombia’s past and current state much better. He stands neutral and offers a wealth of information. It gives us a whole new appreciation for Medellín community and Colombia as a whole. Highly highly recommend!! Kevin picked us up from the hotel and gave us an interesting tour of Pablo Escobar in Medellin. He was very knowledgeable about the history and gave us different perspectives on the Pablo’s story. We visited la Catedral, Envigado, a stadium Pablo had financed as well as the place of his death. Kevin was very good at giving us a objective perspective and explaining the history. It is not a tour that glorifies Pablo E. as a person, but Kevin tells the full story. All from his ruthlessness and terror of the city to how he viewed as a “hero” in some how the neighborhoods were he financed and built for the people. Thank you for an interesting day! Kevin picked us up from the hotel it was 6 of us, he brought a decked out van with beer and food we went to all the tours in medellin in 3 days: Guatape Pablo escobar’s barrio Pablo escobar’s grave Pablo escobar’s jail Coffee tour Kevin had the best recommendation for the nightlife. Whatever you want Kevin has the plug. He was the best host it was like having a best friend down there. Kevin acomodates transportation, food, entretainment, and always has the cheapest affordable prices. If you give him a budget he will work with you.
