Sebastian was a fantastic tour guide. My partner and I would recommend him 10 times over. His background in architecture allows him to provide so much knowledge and nuance into the layout of the city, the history and the ongoing development of Medellin. You take the metro and cable car up to Communa 13 which is super fun. You also stop for some local refreshments along the way. In Medellin I’m sure there are no tours better than this one.

Guatape was our second tour with Sebastian. And yet again, he delivered. It felt more like a road trip with a friend than a guided tour. Seeing Guatape and the surrounding scenery was truly amazing and I highly recommend the hike to the top. However, the real experience for us was walking the streets of Guatape after our hike. We had time to grab a tinto with Sebastian and then gain some cultural perspective of the town. And to cap it all off, San cocho at a local spot that was delicious. 10/10 would recommend!

This was the best tour I’ve ever been on, anywhere. Sebastian is an incredible guide who not only shows you Medellin through the eyes of people who live there, but also provides an environment to be educated about the history of this city. There are too many highlights to list, but there is one common denominator — La Cultura del Metro. Using Medellin’s transit system with Sebastian at the helm, we experienced many different sights, sounds, cultural nuances, people, places, and things throughout all parts of the city. This part of the experience also made the remainder of our trip so much more experientially rich because we used the metro the entire time for our stay. Again, there’s so much to say about this tour, so I’ll leave you with this: If you’re in Medellin and want to be embedded in the city’s culture (past, present, and future) and learn about this amazing country and city, do this tour! Finally, Sebastian is such a great person. He’s super insightful and provides deeper context to the places he takes you to on this tour. His background in architecture and city planning adds more rich layers of knowledge to the overall experience and education gained by walking and commuting through Medellin.

The highlight of our time in Medellin! Sebastian is a brilliant tour guide and knows his city intimately. He gets the balance just right in sharing information and letting you soak up the city in between. Really good tour. Sebastians explanations of how the city has developed to allow more residents access to basic public transport over the years to make their lives easier. In Communa 13 his explanations on some of the art was amazing, esp the Operation Orion work., very moving. Sebastian is very personable and I wish I had booked his other tour now! This was a great tour to experience both the metro culture of Medellin and the Comuna 13. Sebastian handled all transportation so that our group could experience without any issues. Sebastian gave us the history and current updates about the metro system, cable car, and the transformation of Comuna 13. It is truly a unique experience and I'm very happy we had a local guide with us. The tour did not feel too long and was organized for a perfect afternoon tour - we even got to see a little of the sun setting before it was all over. I would love to come back with friends or family and do this tour again!

Sebastián was an amazing tour guide, and the tour was fantastic! First he showed us around the Medellin city center, stopping occasionally to provide historical context and personal stories. Then he took us to a cool historic bar to grab a coffee/beer and to chat with him and the other guests. Next he guided us through the Medellin public transportation, taking us on the train and cable cars up to the top of the hill overlooking Comuna 13, all while explaining the importance of the transit system to the community. Then he takes you into Comuna 13, which was like nothing I had ever seen before. It's a vibrant community on a steep hill full of prideful people enjoying life, lively restaurants and bars, and colorful murals and street art. Finally, Sebastián helped everyone figure out the safest way home. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends

Colombian Ambassadors and especially Sebastian were simply amazing! The communication is clear and there are no surprises. They pick you up in a very nice and well kept SUV with AC and with enough room. Sebastian has a good eye on reading people and adjusts anything based on the needs and wants of the group. He’s friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. You are guaranteed a good time. We will always recommend him and the company for this experience. If you want to learn about Guatape, it’s history and it’s people in a relaxed and fun way, look no further.
