Getting to know the coffee region has been one of the best experiences I have had among all the visits I have made to Colombia in recent years. I only had two days to discover the wonders of the area and based on recommendations I decided to hire Transport and tourism of the axis to give us the tours.
100% customer service, very attentive to everything and very punctual. Our driver Don Daniel was super friendly and attentive to our needs, as was our guide Soledad. Highly recommended.
We had the opportunity to do the CAFÉ CON AROMA DE MUJER themed tour, at Hacienda Venecia, where the Colombian soap opera that captivated thousands on Netflix was recorded. The tour begins at the coffee farm, where the guide explains the process of growing, washing, roasting and distributing the grain, accompanied by anecdotes and visits to the areas where important scenes from the series were recorded.
At noon they took us to the Santa Rosa hot springs, where we had lunch included as part of the package, there we tried the tray paisa, a delicious typical Colombian dish. We were able to relax with nature in front of the impressive waterfall.
So if you are thinking about getting to know the coffee axis, my recommendation is that you stay in Pereira and coordinate complete day trips with Transportation and tourism of the axis.
