We had the best time touring Cairo with Emy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Her exceptional knowledge of both modern and Ancient Egypt, particularly the Great Egyptian Museum and the Egyptian Museum, was truly impressive. This made sense when we discovered she had worked at the Cairo Museum for several years, which enabled her to provide us with extra insights and historical details that brought the exhibits to life. Due to the size of the museum, Emy also asked us for our areas of interest so she could adapt the museum tour to us. What made our experience even more special was how accommodating Emy was. She ensured we spent extra time at the sites that interested us most, like the Citadel, making the tour feel completely personalised. She also always checked in to make sure we were happy and even offered multiple times to take photos for us - she is amazing photographer so do take her up on her offer. Even during our rides between sites (in a private bus with a wonderful driver), Emy continued to share information about the local area, Egyptian history, and answered any questions we had. There was nothing she didn’t know about. The lunch Emy organised for us was also excellent, a tasty restaurant overlooking the pyramids, which made homemade flatbread in a traditional oven. We then went to Khan market, where she advised us on how to barter for quality goods, making it really safe, fun and enjoyable. This was our first time in Egypt, and thanks to Emy, we had the best experience! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and thoughtful tour guide, we highly recommend asking for her - you won’t be disappointed.

This is our first day on the tour, James was our guide. He is knowledgeable and caring. He is a Egyptology student. His thesis is on ancient Egyptian wild animal movement. So interesting.

Our guide, Omar, was absolutely phenomenal and would recommend requesting him as his knowledge is unparalleled. However, Abu Simbel was so overcrowded and hot it wasn’t even an enjoyable experience, which was disappointing as we were the most excited to see that

The boat was a bit dated but our room was nice, food was ok and changed everyday, and the staff on the boat was beyond helpful. Be advised that regardless of who you book with, there will be 20+ other ships leaving at the exact same time

Do not hesitate to use this company! We did a 7 day tour with a 4 nite Nile cruise Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Our guide Hossam Hassan aka Bruno Mars was extremely knowledgeable of all the sites. We had two other guides for the Giza pyramids and Abu Simbel. Unfortunately, I can’t remember their names, but both were very good, however, Hossam was our favorite! ETP immediately responded to all our questions, no hassle arrival, timely pick ups and drop offs, and our hotel was beautiful, Triumph Luxury Hotel. Excellent company/service in our opinion!

This was a day tour to Abu Simbel. We were 11 in the group headquartered on a cruise. Abu Simbel is a sight to behold. Our tour guide was Mahmoud Gamal. He was excellent in giving us an overview of Abu Simbel. He started the talk in the minibus as a sort of overview so that when he starts explaining at the site, things would just fall into place. Surprisingly, everyone thought Abu Simbel was just one temple (my first picture). It is actually composed of two temples. One for Ramses and a smaller one for his wife Nefertari. Egypt Tour Portal made this trip very convenient and gave us an excellent guide.

Our trip to Luxor and Aswan was unforgettable. We got to experience everything that was listed in our itinerary and everything was made easy and quick thanks to our highly knowledgeable guide, Mohammed Hasan. He is highly knowledgeable in all subjects of Egyptology as well as local customs. Mohammed took the time to explain to us the significance of the temples and tombs we saw and told us what sights to look out for when we explored. He gave suggestions on which areas to visit and when to help us avoid crowds all while also giving us some incredible background to the history of the areas we visited. We were able to fully experience our tour in comfort knowing that Mohammed was always organizing things in the background - he even managed to get us incredible seats at a local Nubian restaurant overlooking the Nile in Aswan! Our Nile cruise was onboard the Nile Serenity and it was incredible. The food was good, the staff was incredibly friendly, and our room had an incredible view! Everything was very well organized and the cruise communicated lunch schedules and departing times every day. Things went extremely smoothly from day-to-day and thanks to that we were able to pack a lot of sightseeing throughout our day. Bring some comfy shoes if you’re coming out and get ready to have fun!

The views were amazing. We took a lot of beautiful pictures. It is my first time in Egypt. Our tour guide was excellent! She told everything what we should know about the history of Egypt. And she is very nice and friendly.

Ahmed Majid gave us a 2 day tour in Aswan where we saw the magnificent Abu Simbel, the Philae temple, High Dam etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and sympathetic to our requests. Highly recommended.

My sister and I just finished a 3 night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, stopping in Edfu and Esna, and then an extra night in Luxor to squeeze in all the sights. Our guide was Muhmmed Abdelaal for the entire time and he was a brilliant combination of all the historical information for not just this area of Egypt but all of country and also threw in lots of cultural info. He delivered the perfect balance of presenting information and giving us free time to explore on our own. He was very patient to answer all our questions...my sister mostly about every hieroglyphic and statue and me with random questions like what the vendors were arguing about (a soccer game) or whether a particular food served to us was really eaten by locals. We were looked after amazingly well with great communication from him about every step of the way and I'm so happy we chose this tour and had Muhmmed as our guide. The sites were breath taking of course but my highlights were having the privilege to see the kindness and generosity of Egyptians as they all greeted Muhmmed and insisted he eat dates from them as we walked down the street (at iftar time to see a Temple at night)... it was so beautiful to watch. And also Muhmmed arranged our final lunch in this beautiful field hosted by a sustainable restaurant where the food was delicious! It was exactly what I'd been looking for without even knowing it myself. Very thoughtful. I would highly recommend everyone to book this tour and with Muhmmed as your guide. Whatever you are looking for in your time in the Nile area, I am sure you will find it if you do.

Highly recommend. The tour company handled everything for us from airport transportation, hotel booking, etc. Riham was our guide and did a fantastic job and is such a kind person. She is a wealth of knowledge and we really enjoyed her company!
