Moses was an outstanding person to spend two days with in Egypt. His knowledge of Egyptian history, the pyramids, and the museum we visited was incomparable. As someone who doesnt typically appreciate a long history lesson, Moses was able to help turn my eye to the fabulous culture and decadent Egyptian wonder. He met us at the ship and was on time and delivered a hospitable two day overview of the magic of Cairo. His insight was incredible and his intense education truly allowed him to provide the best tour of such a rich city. Ahmed is incredibly knowledgeable about Egypt's rich history and culture, providing fascinating insights into every artifact, especially the iconic treasures of Tutankhamun. He made the museum come alive with his engaging storytelling and passion for Egyptian history. Not only was he professional and well-spoken, but Ahmed was also very patient and accommodating, answering all our questions and ensuring we had a great experience. His enthusiasm for the exhibits, particularly the golden mask of Tutankhamun, was contagious, and it truly made our visit special. We spent a total of 2 days in Luxor and we were accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Hasan on this tour. He really took care of us and informed us in a very good way. He not only gave us information but also taught us how we can make our own conclusions about the places we visited, for example how to read and interpret hieroglyphs. We also enjoyed his storytelling. I would like to add that he has a very good command of English. Throughout the tour, we traveled in vehicles with A/C. With timely breaks, meal breaks and a nice route, we did not feel the effect of the heat much. This tour was the right address for a completely reliable and enjoyable holiday.

What an excellent experience! Our cruise had was delayed to disembark and we were further delayed by the city security to leave - no fault of our guides - Mohammad Elshemi and driver Saad. Mohammad revised our plan to ensure we had a great time. We booked overnight, so offered the option to start early the following day to view the pyramids meaning they also had to start their day earlier. Mohammad Elshemi negotiated with the hotel to open a full breakfast 30 min early just for us (so grateful to the hotel staff). It is hard not to be in awe standing at the foot of the Pyramids, but the guides really ensured a great trip. A family member left their glasses at a shop on the first day - Mohammad called around and found where they were left and someone drove to our vehicle IN TRANSIT and passed them through the window. Unbelievable. Driving through Egypt takes a special skill and was very impressed with our driver Saad. Very professional.

This trip was truly exceptional. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The company was excellent and both our tour guides in Cairo and Luxor were outstanding. They were extremely knowledgeable and addressed all our questions, making the trip even more memorable.

Our tour guide was Khaled Mamdoh and he was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable and ensured we were well taken care of. Our trip was delayed a day due to our flight being cancelled and he still checked on us and offered assistance. Myself and my wife did a 25th wedding anniversary in Cairo / Luxor and we selected a private guided tour with Egypt Tour Portal . 100% the way to go , their website was very easy to navigate and pick the tour that best suited us with modification to add more events, very easy and fast company to deal with. The tours were excellent, yes the sites are amazing but what made it a 5 star+ experience was our guide, Ahmed EL Gohary. Its our first time visiting Egypt. There were some concerns and worrires before we landed in Cairo. But when we meet Max, our tour guide, from the first day, we felt very safe. He had been very helpful, friendly and most importantly very professional. He has given us so many historical info about Egypt which made us 'wow' for so many times. He would ask what we would like to eat and choose the most suitable restaurant for us. I have to say, without Max's service, our Egypt trip would not be the same. Last but not least, our driver Mr Adel, he had been on time everyday and always smiling and although he doesn't speak English well but he tries his best. Thank you Max and Mr Adel for everything!
